I ate at @dosa.delightrestaurant and it was perfect. What makes this restaurant special is that most of the dishes are vegan and/or vegetarian! The restaurant is small and welcoming. I ordered a rose lassi, paka tikka masala with cheesy naan. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The bread was fluffy and delicious. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered the Thai Fiesta which has “Mac sauce, Thai sweet chili, taco seasoning, black and white sesame seeds”. This was my first time ordering it and I loved it. As usual the chicken was moist and big. The Cajun fries were drenched in the combination of sauces along with the chicken tenders. I got the medium since I was starving and I still couldn’t finish the whole thing. They give you a lot of food for twelve dollars. I should say that if you are sensitive to spice it is a little spicy but I love spicy food so it did not bother me, in fact it was welcomed. When I entered their building I was bombarded with the staff greeting us by calling us sluts which I loved!! Their menu is filled with creatively sexual titles to name a delicious array of foods. If anyone knows me I can’t make a decision to save my life but I finally ordered the Dancehall Queen burger which has a “plant-based patty loaded with sweet jerk plantains, vegan cheese, caramelizar onions, lettuce, tomato, and our Slut Sauce on a vegan Hawaiian bun.” according to their website. The burger was moist, super flavorful, sweet, and spicy. The Hawaiian bun was squishy, the plantains were saccharine and the jerk seasoning was an unexpected, yet pleasant, pair. I also had their blackberry mayo which was perfect with my fries. It was sweet and tangy. Their fries had an addictive New Orleans flavoring dusted on top. Once I finished ordering they asked if I am a native Brooklynight to which I said, “of course!” And the employee pulled down a mic which was hanging from the ceiling and shouted “Native virgin in the building!!” (They affectionately call their first timers virgins.) I order the Tiramisu cake and a Greek Frappe from @miasbakery.klang and it was perfection. The cake was light, moist, decedent, and flavorful. I could taste the coffee but it wasn’t overpowering. The lady fingers at the tail end of the slice was lightly sugar coated and spongy which was so satisfying and complimented the cake amazingly. This was my first time trying a Greek Frappe so I didn’t know what to expect. Usually, for me, frappes do not have an effect on me and taste more like an ice cream float however this was not the case for this frappe. You can definitely taste the caffeine and it will keep you up. It was the perfect balance of sweet and bitter which I adored. The brown foam on top was bitter meanwhile the darker brown liquid beneath was sweeter. Mia’s Bakery is a gem and I will definitely order Jada and I’s birthday cake from here. This is the Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew from @starbucks I was tempted to get this because anyone who knows me know that I am obsessed with caramel. The first thing I noticed was how stunning it looks. The ombre of white to light brown to dark brown was so pretty to me. Then I quickly took my mask off to take a sip and I loved it. This is an extremely light drink. Honestly, it’s as light as water. It’s smooth and has a that deliciously addicting butter taste that I love. It isn’t too sweet even though it has caramel in it. You can taste a hint of the sweet caramel flavor in the back of your throat. I was expecting a super sweet caramel flavor like I get in my Peet’s caramel latte (which I highly recommend). The foam is where the salt comes into play because when I licked it all I tasted was salt but it wasn’t overpowering. Since I ordered this before class I was sipping on it while in a lecture. After letting it sit for awhile the taste became even better which is surprising for iced coffee drinks since it usually waters the drink down. However, for this drink all of the favors just melt together and makes a beautiful harmony. I would definitely get it again. Overall grade: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (First perfect score)

This is the Hawaiian Burger from @blackburgernyc and it’s really good. I went out to eat here with my best friend and my sister and we unanimously thought that we found a gem. My friend got the impossible burger which she enjoyed and my sister got the Philly Cheesesteak burger and she liked hers too. My burger was smokey because of the bacon, a little sweet because of the slice of pineapple, and savory because of the teriyaki sauce. It was juicy and super flavorful however, I didn’t like how messy it was. I barely touched it and it was already falling apart in my hands. The sauce made the burger slippery too. Other then that, I would definitely return to eat here and I am tempted to try every burger from the menu! Overal grade of my burger: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starbucks drink

The first thing you taste is the strong peach. It coats your entire mouth and tongue. Then it mellows out to strawberries. Unfortunately, the strawberries are barely recognizable. And I didn’t taste any raspberry. My favorite drink from Starbucks is the Pink Drink which is just strawberries pretty much so I was pretty disappointed when I could barely taste them. I more so smell the sweet cream cold foam rather than taste it. If that is their intent then I really enjoy it. I prefer it to be something you smell rather than taste because there are already too many bold flavors in this drink. Adding the foam would be overwhelming and would muddle the flavors. Overall this drink is pretty good if you enjoy peach flavors. If Starbucks ran out of The Pink Drink then I would order this.
