I completely agree with this! I just finished a book called "The Shack" by William P. Young, and it gave me this very insight. I suggest that people from any religious background or spiritual belief read this book. It changed me in ways I didn't realize needed changing. I found my path and myself.

I personally do not understand why everyone is so preoccupied with defining their practice. I understand even less those who tell others that unless they fall within the strict boundaries and “rules” of a given practice, they cannot call themselves a practitioner. I never accepted...

Frett not, remember that you do not need an altar to have a relationship with your goddess and god. Take comfort that they are always with you.

Kind of upset..

My Catholic parents found my altar and hid everything from me.

Of course I must respect their wishes to practice Wicca in the house but I’m still not happy about it.

I cannot wait until I own my own place and can leave all of my witchcraft things in the open.

Goddess, guide me until then.

My Spiritual Journey

My journey has come to a turning point. I've been lost for so long, wondering if there was something wrong with me, if it was other people, trying to find myself in religion but unsure about which religion should I follow, which one was right. Totally and completely confused and depressed. I found a book that although others may criticize, it really spoke to me and helped me to understand that I don't have to follow a hierarchy that man set forth for me to follow. The truth is there is no right religion. Religion is an institution created by man. Spirituality and relationship with God, or Goddess if you prefer, comes from love. Your relationship with God will spread love throughout your life to your spouse, children, family, friends and even strangers. 

The book is called "The Shack" by William P. Young, this book might give you a new perspective on your own beliefs. It finally gave me the freedom to create my own spirituality instead of using something someone else created to create power over others and independence from God. I'd like to share a few quotes...

Summer Solstice

Great start to my summer solstice! Put out my tea for the sun to bless. Wearing an orange shirt with my pretty summer bracelet and tiger's eye in my pocket. Breakfast is oatmeal with blueberries and chamomile tea!
