Winter's Lament: Skaði's Earthly Vigil
In the hall of frost and ice, where Skaði reigned, A goddess of winter, her heart unchained, She gazed upon the mortal realm with care, And saw the scars that mankind's deeds did bear.
From her frozen realm, she took her flight, Descended to Earth, through the dark of night, Her eyes, like icy stars, observed below, The damage done to nature's sacred flow.
She saw the forests, once lush and green, Now felled by axes, a dismal scene, The rivers choked with pollution's blight, And creatures suffering, day and night.
The mountains, scarred by mining's cruel hand, The oceans, poisoned across the land, She wept for the creatures, great and small, Their habitats lost, their voices a call.
Yet amidst the despair, a glimmer shone bright, Mankind's potential to make things right, She watched as some took up the noble fight, To heal the wounds, to bring back the light.
Skaði's heart, though cold, held hope within, For she believed in the power to begin, To mend the Earth, to make amends, And restore the balance that nature intends.
With a sigh, she ascended to her icy throne, A witness to the damage that mankind had sown, But also a guardian of hope's gentle gleam, That one day, nature's beauty would redeem.
So let us remember Skaði's tale with care, To cherish the Earth, its beauty rare, For in our hands, the power resides, To heal the wounds and turn the tides.

"Carnival of Winter's Embrace: Skaði's Journey Among Mortals"
In realms of frost, where winter reigns supreme, Skaði, the Norse goddess, was oft seen, A huntress fierce, with a heart of ice, She longed to taste mortal life's sweet spice.
From her icy realm, she set forth one day, To wander the world where mortals play, With snow-white cloak and her bow in hand, She ventured to explore this strange, new land.
Through mortal towns and bustling streets, She moved with grace, her presence discreet, Yet all around, the world began to change, As winter's chill, in her wake, did range.
The mortal realm, now a carnival of snow, As Skaði danced in the moonlight's soft glow, With every step, a frosty path she traced, Leaving behind a world with winter embraced.
She marveled at the joy of mortal life, The laughter, the love, and the endless strife, For in her heart, a longing had grown, To experience the warmth that mortals had known.
She joined their feasts, their songs, and their mirth, Her icy exterior began to unfurl its girth, And as she laughed beneath the mortal skies, Her heart began to thaw, her soul to rise.
But soon, the time had come to depart, Back to her wintry realm, her icy heart, With a promise to return when winter fell, Skaði left the mortal world with a tale to tell.
For in that carnival of mortals' delight, She found a glimpse of warmth in the cold, dark night, And though her icy kingdom called her name, She knew that in the mortal world, she'd find the same.
