Ok but also considering Morty had a memory of Rick being there for his 13th birthday, do the events of last night's episode take place in an alternate universe or something?

And does this dimension's Rick and Morty reality hopping impact c-137 Rick and Morty's reality hopping?

In the newest episode, we see that after Morty pissed off the squirrels, they moved to a new dimension? And nobody seems to be talking about it but I have a lot of questions. Like

What universe did they go to?

When did this memory take place, before or after Rick cronenberged the universe in Rick Potion #9?

If he wiped Morty’s memory of fucking with squirrels, obviously less traumatic than deforming the entire population, why didn’t he wipe Morty’s memory of the cronenberg world?

If this took place after cronenberg world, did he give Morty the animal communication helmet in hopes he would fuck with squirrels because he knows his original Morty is alive and after him?

Was cronenberg world and squirrel fuckery fake, planned events by Rick to keep him and Morty moving and safe from the possible threat of evil Morty?

Am I reading way too into this?

Ok small theory

Episode 1x05 Meeseeks and Destroy and Episode 3x04 Vindicators 3: The Return of World ender both take place in the same universe separate from c-137. I feel like everyone was already in silent agreement about this but I wanted to say in case they weren't I am very out of touch with this fandom rn.
