I don’t understand how some people think Az just wants Elain because of sexual attraction or because he feels he deserves her.
When Az was in love with Mor, he was still able to be around her and interact with her. With Elain, he can barely interact with her without wanting to touch her and be close to her.
If Az can hold himself back from Mor and still maintain a good relationship with her, why can’t he do that with Elain? Why does he have to completely abandon family dinners and limit his visits to the River House just to keep himself from disobeying Rhys’ orders?
I think what he feels for Elain is stronger than what he felt for Mor no matter if they are “true mates” or not.

KINGDOM OF THE CURSED is getting closer and closer to hitting shelves!Â
You can expect:Â
*enemies to lovers
*more New Adult than Young Adult. (This definitely leaps from the slow burn romance of book one to full on spice/steam, please do be aware of that. There are no fade out scenes.)
*it is my most romance-heavy book to date
*schemes
*masked galas
*magicÂ
*mystery
*violet horses with metal hooves
*intro to Wrath’s pets 🥰
My US publisher is hosting a pre-order campaign, so please save your receipts. That announcement will be made in the next month or so.
