For several years now, biologist and photographer Alexander Semenov has been known for his stunning photographs of marine life.  Not content with stopping there, Semenov recently proposed a three-year-long, 30,000-nautical-mile sea voyage with a mission of discovering and photographing new species.

4,320 meters above sea level in the mountains of Chile, the El Tatio geyser has been spewing scalding hot steam for thousands of years. 

Photographer Owen Perry traveled to the remote region and captured some incredible photos of the geyser right before sunrise.
