THEKA PE KAHANA VO BHI DESHI

Its always an amazing feeling when ever we have good food, but now days we have to plan hard to get awesome food. In daily IT routine, it’s a habit to plan this once a week or once a month to have tasty food, which sometimes we end up calling as “ Team Outing”.

Having tasty food, is usually a means to remember good old times when we all had food Mom made delicacies. We wish , if it’s possible to get that food always. This was the thought when we started the venture “Theka Desi Khana”. Our aim is to provide “Home Away, Home Like food”. And has been a roller coaster first month for us since our venture’s start.

As we all are IT professionals so we can understand sentiments of our ITbandhus in terms of Food taste. Taking sometime off from fixing bugs or developing product features we help each other so that Roji roti apne sare bhaiyoo ki chalti rahe. In same way we are trying to help people jisee sabki jeebh machalti rahe.

We reach out to people directly in one to one interactions. Most of the times , people who ate our food become our ambassadors too, marketing about our product(Lunch Box(9 Items @ 99)). And yes, this service is self induced and happens only when they like our food as well as they can feel that it helps. This Lunch box can solve hunger problems of others too. Few people embrace our idea and few taste our product for quality checks. Collectively it has been a good experience for us by delivering delicious food to our own kind.

In this short span of time, we have demonstrated the product at multiple locations and MNC’s where people have to go out for Lunch. It gives you great pleasure when taking in hand delivery. It’s a continuous learning process hence some times we miss out things which we are trying to improve day by day.

In sabke ke bad bhi dil hai IT, kahani hai filmy aur dish hai hindustani :-)

“User Experience” can be a dimension in a product development cycle?

I work in the IT industry – dynamic, ever engaging and multifaceted

What this industry has taught me so far is whenever you write a code snap  it should be properly aligned,  do static and dynamic analysis and then run tests cases.This is how I have been taught about it. This is how my peers were taught about it.

But is it really all about this?

Is it thinking about coding as something with strict beginning and end an effective way to create a product that create a  WooW user experience? Can there be no open end when it comes to coding, part that won’t be explained, part which will be call art?

Six month ago I was working for an MNC where application development procedure goes decades before defined procedure . This is story of most of the MNC’s. People will keep saying they revolutionize product development cycle. Is it really revolutionized?

Can an application developer feel that difference? Is he allowed to? Would he still be a programmer if that was the case?  Is Permutation and combination of code within a product development cycle is only thing means of revolution?

Where are the emotions the feeling that gives  aliveness to a product. Why this elements not included in product development? This is one of the most underestimated unknowingly point that no one talk about.

Even a music without emotion we cannot be  enjoyable, then how a program manager expect a software written without emotion can  be enjoyed by user.

Even i couldn’t figure out how could i achieve this WooW in my own product but I’d love to hear people to have talk about this. Let’s talk over it
