creating a christmas music poll of my own

I don’t really do pop Christmas music so I decided to create a poll based on my personal playlist.

There’s more songs I would put here if I could, but tumblr of course limits our poll options.

To further inform your voting, the recordings I listen to tend to be of handbell choirs, church choirs, folk artists, and deliberately old-fashioned arrangements. For instance, one of the albums I listen to has Victorian-era arrangements of Christmas carols. But I invite you to imagine your favorite arrangement of each song if it helps you select your answer!

Also, it’s way too early to post this poll, as it’s not even Advent yet. Reblog to reach everyone else on the non-pop-Christmas side of tumblr.

Thinking about how wild it is that enshittification starts as a way for the rich to squeeze the populace for more money but ends up infecting everything so even luxury products decline in quality. First go at honiton lace! I'm using the book the Technique of Honiton Lace by Elise Luxton. I'm pretty happy with it for it being my first try at this style and still not having any real lacemaking equipment 😅😅 this is the smallest thread I've worked with and it did not like to stay knotted. Things almost got thrown out a window a few times. I also found the sewing very difficult on these very tiny leaves with my very large fingers 😂

So because every Howl’s Moving Castle book cover that isn’t sixty five dollars is in that sort of- gaudy, super saturated, 80s-90s style, I’m making my own. I still need to order the book (cuz I only own the audiobook), get the proper color of fabric, and find some decent gold paint, and once I have obtained all of the proper components, I’m gonna give it the hardcover it deserves. >:3
