darrencriss: She was bold. She was outrageous. She was a LOT of fun.⁣

Naya made me laugh like no one else on that set. I always said it while we were working together and I’ve maintained it ever since. Her playful, wicked sense of humor never ceased to bring a smile to my face.⁣

She played by her own rules and was in a class of her own. She had a brashness about her that I couldn’t help but be enchanted by. I also always loved her voice, and savored every chance I got to hear her sing. I think she had more talent than we would have ever been able to see.⁣

I was constantly moved by the degree to which she took care of her family, and how she looked out for her friends. She showed up for me on numerous occasions where she didn’t have to, and I was always so grateful for her friendship then, as I certainly am now.⁣

And even as I sit here, struggling to comprehend, gutted beyond description- the very thought of her cracks me up and still brings a smile to my face. That was Naya’s gift. And it's a gift that will never go away. ⁣

Rest in peace you wild, hilarious, beautiful angel.

If you were friends with Naya Rivera, you simply can’t. Her brilliance and humor were unmatched. Her beauty and talent were otherworldly. She spoke truth to power with poise and fearlessness. She could turn a bad day into a great day with a single remark. She inspired and uplifted people without even trying. Being close to her was both a badge of honor and a suit of armor. Naya was truly one of a kind, and she always will be.

darrencriss: Honored to say that I’m heading back to the House of Murphy where I’ll be starring in but also executive producing HOLLYWOOD with Time’s King of Television. 

Late last year, @mrrpmurphy and I had dinner where he shared that he wanted to do a period piece that was young and optimistic. We landed on the idea of a series covering several narratives from 1940s Hollywood. We both left that evening feeling super excited about its potential. Two days later Netflix bought it. Not only is that a testament to the magic of Ryan Murphy, it’s a reminder of the kind of thing that can only happen in Hollywood…literally. Limited Series coming to @netflix May 2020.

Darren Criss is a married man!

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story actor, 32, married longtime love Mia Swier, 33, on Saturday.

Criss and Swier said “I do” in New Orleans as their loved ones and friends looked on.

The star-studded guest list included fellow Glee alums Lea Michele, John Stamos, Chord Overstreet and Harry Shum Jr.

The happy couple, who have been together for around eight years, announced their engagement in January 2018, though Criss later admitted they’d been engaged for a bit before they made the announcement.

“Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together,” the Gleestar wrote at the time alongside a photo of the pair. “And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage.”

Criss later told Esquire his proposal “was a long time coming.”

Swier has worked for Fox and Showtime and attended New York University’s Steinhardt School of Media Studies and Television Production.

Criss has been enjoying a successful awards season, picking up an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award for playing killer Andrew Cunanan in American Crime Story.

He gave a sweet shout-out to Swier in his Globes acceptance speech, thanking her for her “undying love and patience.”

While the Mafiosi get swept off their feet by hysterical and unfortunate choices, Tyler’s sets his eyes on the beautiful Rosalia (“Miss Universe”) who flatly refuses to do anything with him. Thus, the comic and romantic pursuits begin!
