On other things...

So, I know I’ve been mixing a lot of personal posts in with the quality content we’re all here for. I’d apologize for that but it won’t change the fact that I consistently do so. I’ll continue posting mostly Mystic Messenger related things, but in between it’s also going to include whatever pops into my head at the time.

For instance, -right now-, I’ve been thinking about my girlfriend and how amazing she is. I’ve been thinking about the fact that even six months ago, if I went more than half a day without hearing from her I was convinced she didn’t love me and was only putting up with me because she couldn’t think of a way to let me down gently. This was never her fault, it was simply the result of years of not realizing I had ADHD and every relationship I had prior crumbling without my noticing.

This makes me want to put together an HC about MC with a specific anxiety towards being abandoned but right now the feels are too strong and I’d rather finish V’s route before I do so. Instead, I’d rather just talk about why my girlfriend is so perfect for me.

1. I put her on a pedestal. She knows this, and she manages to handle the fact that in my mind she is a pure goddess who does nothing less than make my world go round.

2. She helped me transition from clinging to people like they were a life preserver in the middle of the ocean to standing on my own and trusting the fragile scaffolding of self-confidence I’ve scraped together over the past year.

3. This woman single-handedly keeps me from dying by reminding me to eat, do laundry, take care of errands, and go to bed. This isn’t a joke, if it weren’t for her I would -not- remember my bank passwords or my social security number.

4. At no point in our entire relationship has she ever acted as if she weren’t interested in the completely random and inane crap I find to talk about. [Seriously, I spent three hours reading up on the life of a chicken yodeler and she suffered through it because she loves me.]

5. She’s so passionate, but so calm and eloquent about it. For ever 30 words I use to talk about something she might use 3…But for this, she still gets her joy and dedication to what she loves across to anyone listening.

6. This woman is protective AF. While I am a soft, and squishy marshmallow she is RAGING like an inferno if anyone treats me, or her husband the wrong way. [Seriously, she scares me when she’s angry and I’m really glad she’s never been angry with me.]

7. SHE PUTS UP WITH ME. For more than a year she has put up with my near constant “Are you mad at me?"s. I honestly think she has a bottomless well of patience for everything that is wrong with me.

8. She is absolutely beautiful. I’m not going to post a picture here because that would be an invasion of privacy. Just take my word for it, okay? She and her husband both make me feel like a troll living beneath a bridge but they still think I’m attractive? [This is a mystery on the same level as how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.]

SIDENOTE: In case you didn’t believe me about the chicken yodeler. HE EXISTS AND HIS LIFE DESERVES A MOVIE.
