G2, followed by G1, G3, G5, and pony life
I did a little MLP gen art style practice and decided to display them all together. The ponies from top to bottom are Galaxy, Ivy, Razzaroo, Rainbow Dash, and Sunny Starscout. The backgrounds were stripped from official art I found on google.
What's your favorite gen?

Photos from Bham Buys on eBay
I did not ask for permission, simply trying to catalogue. for related post made on MLP Arena!
Saving mostly for catalogue purposes, I believe this is the correct backcard for their single release as well.

The Miracle Of Birth...! (MLP, G1)
This rare and bizarre pony was a European exclusive released in 1994. Known as "Surprise Twins Pony," her name pretty much explains it all. She had a special mechanism inside her which allowed her belly to open at the press of a button, revealing two EXTREMELY tiny baby ponies inside. Fun fact: The babies are actually far rarer than the mom herself!

i'm gonna be honest i don't get why they say everypony instead of everybody in mlp. it's not like the word everybody is human-specific. the ponies have bodies. the word everypony, however, is pony-specific in a world where ponies are not the only people in their society, which means it would be more accurate and inclusive to use everybody instead of everypony. it all makes no sense to me
