I’ve asked the front desk and you lovely folks are the ones who are on the same level as me in the car park. I found a to-do list today that looked somewhat important because it lines of poetry scribbled at the bottom that seemed like they might be for a card project. The stationary has a moose in a canoe at the top of it (and he is quite adorable). Let me know if it’s yours!

“Oh. My. Fucking. God,” Harry whispered, his eyes darting over the sentences again willing them not to make sense. They did, they did make sense. “Oh. My. Bloody. Fucking. God.”

The next thing he knew he was on the floor, staring at the ceiling, with a very concerned Liam hovering over his head.

“What happened, mate?” Liam asked.

Harry just pointed to his computer.

Liam bent over Harry’s desk to read the email. “What? This isn’t bad. Is that your to-do list? Did you finally come up with the inside text for those cards?”

“Leeyum" he groaned. “It’s what’s on the list.”

“Oh,” Liam paused for a beat. “Is it dirty stuff?”

Harry nodded.

There was more silence. And then, “Dirty stuff with Louis?”

“Oh my God. What are you holding?”

Harry was startled to hear an English voice coming from behind him that he didn’t know. He’d thought he knew all the English employees around here. When he turned around there was a man with the most stunning eyes and incredible cheekbones known to man in the doorway looking with absolute distaste at the suit Harry had just been thinking of so fondly.

“It’s my suit for the show,” Harry said firmly. This guy was obviously an assistant if the badge and plate of fruit he was holding were anything to go by, but as he began walking to where the table was in the room, Harry noticed he was walking with a slight limp. Oh shit.

Or the one where Harry’s on the Late Late Show for a week and several misunderstandings with a certain mouthy assistant James recently hired make things that much more interesting.

Open letter to One Direction

Dear Harry, Liam, Louis & Niall,

I’m tired.

I’ve been here by your sides since 2011. Yes, I’ve been by your sides even during hard times, like when Zayn left. I’ve always believed in you and the band. I remember when Drag Me Down was released as a surprise. What a time to be a 1D fan then! We were soaring, feeling so powerful, like ‘hey we’re still here, we won’t give up’.

Now? 

We are falling apart. I am so disappointed in how you handled the hiatus and its annoucement back in 2015. It is one thing to lie about PR and relationships. It is an other to lie about the future of the band, the core of why we are here, the music. No solo music, you said. No more than two years, you said. 

Lies. 

Maybe your team made you lie, maybe not. But 18 months later, with your solo projects planned until at least the end of 2018, I’m bitter as fuck. Honestly, I fully understand the need to take some time to do your own thing, I understand it is healthy for the longevity of the band when you come back together. There was just a fair way to do it regarding us, and you didn’t.

And the stunts? Shitty teams? Fake public image? Questionable promo?

I hoped it would stop. I hoped for all of you to have what you deserve. And I hoped the world would see how talented you are, without unnecessary bullshit. Some of you got good things, some didn’t. I can’t stand the unfairness of it all.

You make good music, you are undoubtedly the most talented and down-to-earth and nice and funny artists I’ve had the chance to support.

I don’t know how much I can’t bear until I leave. The thought alone breaks my heart. But I’m tired my hopes for better things are always crushed. Like one of your song says, ‘it is too much to ask for something great?’. Right now I can’t enjoy anything anymore. I’m just here standing in the back, waiting hopelessly for things to finally move in the right direction for ALL of you.

I'm seeing all the positive comments from the GP perspective and I get it, I do. But I'm just too, I don't know, jaded maybe? His openness about his mum, right there next to BG just makes me uneasy. I'll never be okay with it. So unless it's a set up to evoke all the empathy for Louis with his next big headline of "Tomlinson devastated! He's not the father!", then I'm just hanging cautiously back here, keeping any stirrings hope in check. ~Ghost Write anon
