shsl-lucky-girl:
Naegi could only stare at the so called Servant, blinking a few times on trying to take in the fact that ‘Servant’is his name. Hopefully it was just a nickname that the male decided to stick with reasons the female really want to question his choice.
Still she didn’t want to sound rude to this stranger, even if he laughed on the fact Naegi thought that this area was safe compare to the places that she walked through. Does that mean that there were places in a worse state? She couldn’t help but give a little shudder at the thought but still continued to have hope on her sibling being safe.
“I…rather not call you servant.” She admitted in a blunt manner, “It makes it sound that you’re owned by someone.” Still, “Servant” did point out that she didn’t introduce herself to him. With a small smile, she showed out her hand in offering for a handshake.
“My name is Naegi Makoto. It’s nice to meet you umm…do you go by a different name? Maybe your real name perhaps.”
to think this woman was someone of importance ... the thought send chills of excitement to his spine. watching every expression she made, to a confused one to the little fear, provoked a faint smile. not that it was pure sadistic enjoyment to watch someone live in misery ( well, perhaps that woman deserves every right to squirm underneath his grasp while choking out every last breathe of hers until there’s nothing left but a pool of blood ) but it questions on her role.
did this girl before him had the means of facing this meaningless despair head-on? well she must have if she was willing to accept this place as ‘safe’ than it seems. that might be incorrect because she already had her fill of hogging the spotlight to eliminate all of despair. and he, the one who so longs to see that shine, was not there to witness it. such a hopeless situation and it was all his fault for being unreliable. but this time ... it’ll be different.
❝ah, i see. then you’re far too kind. well it’s only natural for someone like you to believe that the title of ‘servant’ signifies my belonging to others. but you are sadly mistaken, miss.❞ no one could understand, not even this girl. but something interesting would be said. ❝not that i blame you but there’s one little truth about being a servant---i am, what you call, a ‘servant’ to my objective. and you are the very pinnacle of my objectives ... miss naegi makoto.❞
at that moment, all he could have done was simply grasp hold of that hand with his functional one to pull her tiny body close. arms did their best in wrapping her to keep her secured. but underneath that smile was a smirk that begged for a little ... curiosity to be peaked.
❝that’s right---i already knew your name. even if i were to tell you my real name, it would mean little significance to you. after all, i am nothing more than regular scum who fits the ideal role of a servant. which is why it would make me very pleased if you called me servant. but as your true nature entitles, you won’t be satisfied with that, right? i suppose i’ll allow you the privilege to know this trash’s name------my real name ... is komaeda nagito and i used to attend classes at hope’s peak academy. does that ring a bell ... miss ultimate hope? ahaha ... i finally found you!!❞

“… how was that cutting to the chase? i barely understood that string of crazy thoughts. the only way you’re worthless trash is because you’re so obsessed with that pointless hope. i don’t even have a talent–what, Super High School Level Luck? at least you actually have that talent in all aspects of your life. me? i have nothing. nothing except despair. so i became the spreader of despair, especially to you worthless Super High School Levels. i suspected you weren’t my friend from the beginning–who would be, after all? nobody else was. so what if hope wins sometimes? i’ll still be here. i’ll always be working to bring despair to those with talent.
so yes, i will battle with you.”
❝as expecting of you to completely not understand any word i say. don’t the despairs defy such a disability of finding every little thing pointless. meaningless … what other word is there for despair? but you know … you’re not selling out this whole ‘i’m a symbol of despair!!’ mask of yours. oops—i probably said too much. me? obsessed with pointless hope? hahaha!! yes you can dare call me obsessed … or maybe even the ultimate fanatic of hope!! ah, imagine if that was a talent well suited for me. but you’re wrong about that. if you didn’t have a talent, then why would the academy choose you? just like you, i too was admitted because of my luck. though a stupid, worthless talent of mine got me admitted to the school, i wasn’t the same as you all symbols of hope. ah, except for you of course since you wish to play the ‘i’m a symbol of despair!!’ card with me. alright, i’ll play your little game. ah i really wonder about that friendship card. i mean, everyone around you seemed really enthusiastic about being your friend. there was even this one girl who tagged around you and your feelings of adoration only sparked a perfect interest. could it be … you were tainted by the true embodiment of despair? speaking of her, i need to find her … and strangle her with my own two hands.
are you positive about battling me? i mean, you’re quite puny for your size and i really hate to be charged for beating up an innocent little kid who’s frightened and scared. just a kid who curls up in the corner like someone who inherits no talent whatsoever. in the end, there are those who are born with talent and people who aren’t. i understand … i had higher hopes for you. but that woman ruined it, didn’t she?❞

#speroexdespero#(( everyone's confused by nagito tbh no one can understand him except perhaps monokuma implies nagito has the same 'hope' as that guy ))#(( maybe he was referring to makoto in general so it wouldn't surprise me a little just that nagito's more twisted than makoto ))#(( ah nagito's already fighting him...by being a mindfucker--- ))

"So it seems that there are not one but two fools of Hope."
❝eheh ... is that right? i wonder about that ... to me, i wouldn’t say i would be right to stand tall with the other symbols of hope. i’ve already made peace with the fact that i’m a stupid, worthless, insignificant being who can’t do anything right. i’m simply a broken, disproportion leg of a rodent who’s existence is nothing but meaningless. there’s no way i could ever cling on to things as brilliant as hope. no---what side i’m in is the side where absolute hope can overcome any meaningless despair that comes their way. in order for the shining hope to appear, a great despair must settle in.
i don’t expect for you to get my little philosophy just as i want a love that is never returned. what i feel is not aspiration towards the other students. if i did, then i would be yearning to be just like them. there’s no way, of course, there’s no way someone like me could ever accomplish such a worthy aspiration. not even if my own talent is useless.
i’m simply ... lucky to be part of this situation.❞

❝ through absolute despair, its Achilles heel—hope will be birthed; thus, an absolute hope shall only come to realization in the peaks of a despair. the tragedy itself provided the stepping stone whereas the absolute symbols of hope shall come as one in fruition to clash with the meaningless despair. —such poetry in motion to watch each sides clash together!!
[ in the peeks of despair, there is the boy who believed in nothing but absolute hope shall always overcome despair. ultimately, there is also a firm belief in his talent which he refers to being a worthless talent: luck. through a believer in absolute hope, it is essential for a meaningless despair to awaken the true hope that’ll overcome any worthless despair. what is despair to him? it isn’t a principle, a moral, a way of life, or even something to be absolutely drunk off of. the best way to describe despair to him: atrociously meaningless. an absolute worthless alien concept that deserves to be rid of.
if a hatred for despair is what sparks his attention, then why suddenly be led astray to the wolf’s den and take part of the hunt to infect the world with its venom? a foolish decision he might add, but it was a necessary compromise. a falsehood of lies are what brought him to the side of despair. how unfortunate—for the wolf should know better than to recognize another sheep who’s pretending to play the role of a willing sheep to follow orders. of course, the beginning offered an excruciating thrill. a little crudely, hope and despair blended together to form a twisted mentality ever since joining the tragedy.
a whisper voiced out … the more despair you spread, the more the hope shall shine brightly—a pick-up line to the tale which left an absolute despair and betrayal. precisely why the voices sung their song to bleed out this meaningless despair. no longer did he partake the thrill, it was left to give him an opportunity to think. what is one to do if they are betrayed by the enemy?
the enemy should be eliminated—simple as that. if the ultimate despair vanishes, would that bring hope? by his hands, no. that isn’t possible since he would kill for the sake of hope but there’s no hope to resonate from a worthless existence as his own. making peace with that, there is but one thing he could do. simple revenge of killing her will suffice—that woman deserves to be eliminated. defining no logic or reason … no wonder his fill of despair still crudely mixes with his ideologies of absolute hope. a lover of hope, a hate for meaningless things as despair … yet he survived through it all and later delivered his reciprocation.
severing his left arm, he replaced it with the late arm of a woman … that’s right. that woman, who is his sworn enemy, granted this opportunity to wield some of her power—more so stole it. ah, the absolute joy it brings … yet, why he did so is illogical. as stated, despair has no sense of morals nor understanding. simply doing anything they want and go all the way with no regret … —that is how he is defined as ultimate despair.
❝ perhaps somewhere, deep in my heart, i prayed for the requiem of hope to come and stop me … put an end to my existence. my death should suffice as a stepping stone … for the ultimates who will overcome meaningless despair … i never surrendered my sanity to my enemy … not like those guys—the ones who deserve this worthless tile of ultimate despair. everything … was for the sake of hope.

❝let’s cut to the chase.
you don’t like me and i very well don’t like you. for obvious reasons, you are simply someone i expected so grand to achieve a higher position than someone like me. for someone who is pathetic trash, even i haven’t lost my ways as you. and for what?! hahahahaha!! doubting your very talent for the sake of bringing despair?! ah, i admit .. the showdown i witnessed myself was simply beautiful!! i was rooting for those symbols of hope to win from the very beginning. even stooping so low as to being your friend ... you can’t imagine what it’s truly like to be someone who is worthless like me. someone like you shouldn’t speak so low of themselves and be self-loathing. how disappointing though ...
now then, will you battle with me?❞

shsl-lucky-girl:
Naegi still couldn’t believe how messed up the world turned out to be thanks to the now “deceased” Enoshima Junko. In a way it made her stomach do multiple back flips. Upon seeing carnage and anarchy in front of her frightened her.
It was a good thing that she found a place that there wasn’t any SHSL Despair around, though the place was a few Monobots but not something she should be frightened about since she was armed with thanks to the Future Foundation. One would question on why a small girl like her would go to such a devastated place. It was simple. She wanted to find her sister.
Cue the girl jumping upon hearing someone’s voice behind her. Green eyes turned to see a tall male with snow white hair and for reasons she started to question the chain placed around the male’s neck like he was a servant? That couldn’t be right. Then again, who knows when it comes the world that filled with despair.
“True…but out of all the places that I had to go through, this is sadly the safest one. Besides as long I try her, I don’t mind going places I know my chance of getting hurt are incredibly. One could say I would be pushing my luck.
those eyes of hers ... filled with hope ... honestly he could tell exactly who she was. yet playing dumb for a little while might make an interesting reaction. would he receive an absolute shock to understand about his proper position within this fallen wasteland? maybe, maybe not. it didn’t matter---at least, not his existence. he was content with how things are progressing so far but found this place has served its purpose. nothing was accomplished so venturing somewhere else will give a bit of comfort. that comfort of seeking what he yearns for.
no, that’s wrong. he might have already found what he yearned to see. the very embodiment of despair was dead but her essence lived on as its permanent mark. but this mark shall be erased ... maybe underneath those lovely hands of hers. oh, he was growing a bit too excited about meeting the very thing he wished to see. that marvelous performance and stage that was a battle between hope and despair ... to think it was all the work of this girl in front of him.
friendly smile showing on his features, the servant approached a little closer to have a good glimpse of her existence. honestly she was rather tiny and thin, easy to lift up if he would be given permission. but the poor girl looked scared of meeting him ... stepping back, gloved hand tucked itself inside his pocket except for one of them. it’s not that he didn’t want to shove it in but moving ‘that hand’ is very difficult. ah, he better make sure not to mention it to her or she’ll grow scared. the more minutes he spend here, the more his interest grew.
❝ah, so that’s your reasons? because this is the safest places, out of all other places? haha!! oh i like your sense of humor about approaching this place with uncertainties. no, this city wasn’t even the safest place to be taking a walk or wandering out here by accident. your chances of getting hurt are incredibly high? i wonder about that ... but you can relax. i wouldn’t dream of hurting someone like you. ne, little girl, you haven’t told me your name. i never bothered to introduce myself but i’m just ... ‘servant’. you can call me ‘servant’ if you like.❞

shsl-lucky-girl ::
one step turns to two ... then three, four ... ruble clashed with the constant shackles that dragged through, letting the path stretch out. where was he going? even he didn’t know. all that he knows is he is needed elsewhere but this city. his duties being ‘picked up’ by those forsaken children is completed. but such a disappointment---even the little leader couldn’t perform her roles as being a proper, how should he put it, ah ... trigger of hope. there’s only one thing left to do though someone seems to be in front of him.
visual image of an innocent girl, all too familiar, stood there in confusion. nothing but a harmless, at lest for now, grin displayed to his features letting the chain emit its sound to his steps. she did look familiar since they all witnessed those events, like the biggest poetry in motion between two polar opposites. it was absolute beautiful!! ❝ne ... it’s a little dangerous for a girl like you to be wandering around this city. you never know what you’ll find and who.❞
he’ll play off as ‘not understanding who she is’ for now. it provides as a good warm-up.
