bro your art improvement in that 1 year of creek comparison post?! thats awesome i love it. are there any design elements that youve added that werent there initially, or were the scars and ear tear just what you started out with and kept for your design of him?

I think it was less of a process of adding elements and more just... evolving them ? Expanding upon them ? Like yeah giving him more scars but also i draw his smile differently now, his pants have flowers on them, he's chubbier and has eyelashes and a slight nose bump and round features

It's honestly fascinating how characters that you draw frequently basically grow with you as your style changes, you familiarize yourself with their design and start adding more and more personal touches, it's actually kind of beautiful

what if your doppelganger loved being you more than you ever loved being yourself. they're better at being you and everyone loves them and it feels almost selfish to want your life back. i want clone horror but the horror is that the thing trying to replace you is also the person you always wanted to be.

queen and tenna have a very similar thing going on where they want to provide for lightners but do so in a way that negatively affects both the lightners themselves/the fun gang and the darkners surrounding them

but after their respective chapters came out, queen was painted as this cruel ass lady who'd throw a man into acid for being broke (not even confirmed canon) and tenna as this sad hurt man who only did wrong cause he wanted to be loved and i gotta say there's something about that that rubs me the wrong way
