Like, they really made sure you know right away this guy is a bit off. Like, I swear his lips are just permanently stuck in that half-pout position or something, because what exactly is that default expression of his??

((He has what I like to call "The Cheekbones of Evil", a design choice I've noticed as a sort of cue that you don't trust this character in kids media. This is an actual phrase I use, by the way))

Okay but why did William sign his murder robots? He must have felt some sense of pride with his work. Honestly I think he was immensely proud of his work, no matter how twisted it actually was.

I hate to engage in discourse, I really do but I've been holding this in for far too long.

You need to stop bullying other people over ships they have and pour their heart and soul into creating content for if the characters are of age and not related.

I understand why you might not like it, why you might think it's problematic or toxic because it is partly true. But tgat doesn't warrant any hate against people who find themselves enjoying it. Fan content doesn't always have to be clean cut and nice and unproblematic. Ships don't always have to be healthy.

A content creator might explore things they've gone through with their content or deal with other things. Maybe they have a story to tell. Sometimes fan content intentionally explores dark themes, toxic relationships if you will because it's quite literally the point. Who says the creator thinks this is ideal?

The content might be set in a different point in time where things haven't happened yet, there might be an AU situation going on. And don't come at me saying having an AU doesn't exuse it. AUs are an essential thing about fan culture, they're a wonderful thing allowing creators to make a story their own, to tell stories in a different setting, to explore an array of what if scenarios. What if the creator wants to make a dark AU, portray one of the character as a darker Version of themselves?

If the characters are of age and not related I don't see an issue.

But most of all, these characters are fictional. While fiction does affect reality it doesn't do it directly and certainly not on a one a one to one scale. As long as the content is tagged accordingly and posted in proper spaces it literally does not affect you. Don't look at it, don't bully and harass people over it. Be decent.

You always say the shippers are shitty people, overreacting, toxic, problematic, rude when it's you who takes every chance to call them awful and shitty and disgusting and god knows what. No, they don't support abuse or think it's okay because they enjoy a "toxic" ship or created an AU for it.

Stop being childish. Let people enjoy things. It literally doesn't affect you, nobody is making you look at the content.
