as cis ASPD and cis NPD this made me realize that it isnt "not that bad" lmao
tips for TransNPD and TransASPD? :3
cis aspd and npd so more than happy to help < 3
TRANS - ASPD ...
Being unemotional and monotone ! I struggle with this a lot - being unable to change your tone to be more ' nicer ', so basically having a continues tone that is considered ' rude ' or ' mean ' !
Not understanding social cues - I think most people already struggle with this but being unable to understand when is an appropriate time to be serious, unable to comfort people or understand when its okay to do something !
Lack of remorse - doing things without much thought for others !
Lack of safety - so being reckless, doing things without second thought that can harm you or others !
Most people with ASPD have a history of drug addiction, have history with breaking the law, overall being reckless.
Hard time with animals - as people with ASPD lack remorse, they are more likely to feel a LITTLE bit of sympathy with animals, yet they tend to get irritated with them quicker when animals don't do what they want.
Unable to control anger / high uncontrollable aggression !
TRANS - NPD ...
People with NPD do not understand social cues, so not being able to understand when is an appropriate time to comment on something !
Feeling like you need to be better than people - So if your friend has achieved something, you would try to achieve it but at a bigger scale ! ( like getting accepted into something or being better at a hobby, knowing more about a subject )
Inability to feel remorse for others - so not knowing how to comfort or feel sympathy for someone !
MIRRORING !!! I don't see people talk about this enough but people with NPD have the tendency to mirror others, whether it would be someone they admire or just randomly for people they are speaking to ! For the second option - when speaking so someone, copying their mannerisms, way of speech, accents !
People with NPD feel emotions on a more heightened sense ( like emotional-highs! ), so feeling anger more fully, feeling happiness for days, ect ! But this also means that they are prone to get angrier quicker or switch moods quite fast !
NPD and ASPD have symptoms that overlap, so for you it can be quite easy to transition !! but hope this helped !!!

transition tips for transNPDs, from a cisNPD
⚠️some of these may be harmful to the mind. transition with caution and awareness of how it can effect you.⚠️
research the types of narcissism. you may find a specific one you connect to more than the others. (overt and covert, a mix, whatever)
constant self-affirmations. lie to yourself enough, and you can make your mind think it's the truth. some affirmations can be;
I am better than the people around me.
I am attractive/hot/irresistible. (replace with any ego boosting comment)
I deserve this and don't care what others think.
Everyone is paying attention to what I do.
Everyone is looking up to me.
I need to be perfect for everyone.
practice perfectionism. don't share anything you make until you're sure it's the best you can do. maybe anything you do is always the best.
ask for compliments and validation. instruct friends to randomly compliment and praise you when you aren't expecting it.
save and screenshot positive asks and tags you get online, save them to an easily accessible folder (such as on your phone) and look through them whenever you're feeling down.
study and analyze details in your spoken and written language(s) and dialect(s) and how you can adjust your word and phrasing choices to be more appealing and charismatic to others.
find ways to lower your empathy if you're not already low-no empathy. understand the differences between empathy, sympathy, and compassion. find ways to ground yourself when you are experiencing empathy to try and shut it down.
ensure constant upkeep of the self. to make sure you do this, you can set alarms and make a schedule. if you can: work out even if its just jumping jacks or squats in your room, drink lots of water, wash your face and brush your teeth often, brush and style your hair, wear makeup to cover blemishes if you have the energy/spoons. do your best to appear "perfect" to outsiders.

i had some ideas and idk if theyve already been coined. permasickvoice: always sounding sick, like congested/nasally and tired & permasniffles: always having congestion and always sniffling as a result. could also be like l a less severe degree of permasick since people sometimes call a mild cold the sniffles.
— permasickvoice [ perma-sick-voice ]
when an individual identifies with having a permanently sick voice !

(If you aren't already doing it, or aren't already going to do it,) how about type-one Narcolepsy tips?
Transnarcolepsy (type 1) tips!
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 train yourself to fall limp/asleep when hearing or seeing something! Like snapping or clapping.
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 watch videos on narcoleptic cataplexy. Like people catching themselves falling asleep. Try to copy their movements and behaviors!

I asked a friend who is a sociopath (diagnosed with ASPD, he refers to himself as a sociopath which is why I’m calling him that) what love feels like to him and how he knows when he loves someone.
I loved his answer. He said “Routine. If they are a part of my routine and feel familiar and comfortable and I would feel like something is missing if they weren’t there, then I think I love them.”
I have bpd with ASPD traits and I think his answer was so cute. I think that is what love is like for me too but I’ve never heard it so succinctly explained, perfect summarization.

i've seen quite a bit of confusion about this, so let me attempt to clear things up :
empathy is the ability to feel somebody's emotions as though they are affecting you personally. for example, somebody tells you "my dog died last night!" -> you now feel as though you've lost a pet personally -> you feel grief and sadness just like the other person. not everyone has empathy. it's a trait some people develop and others don't. some have high empathy, some have low empathy, some (like me) have none.
sympathy is the ability to understand and care about somebody else's struggles, even if you don't feel them yourself. so, somebody tells you their dog died -> you realize how this affects them emotionally -> you care about this person, and are upset that they are suffering. not everyone has sympathy either! it's a scale, just like empathy.
compassion is doing something to relieve another person's suffering or make them feel better. somebody tells you their dog died -> you don't want them to remain upset -> you come up with ways to help them feel better, like offering comfort and distractions, or other forms of support. compassion is a learned trait, not something you can be born with like empathy or sympathy. anyone can learn to be compassionate, although some may struggle more with it than others; it's a skill, just like anything else.
however, none of these are required to be a good person. that's a choice you make on your own accord. i hope this clears things up!

CompleteTransIdentity
⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣
"Complete Trans Identity" (CompleteTransID) refers to a term for individuals who undergo extensive changes to their entire identity, including physical and mental aspects. these changes usually take up the whole identity of the person, completely altering them.
This transitions may involve altering nationality, gender, appearance, name, voice, personality, and more.
Those who identify with CompleteTransID typically aim to become unrecognizable from their pre-transition selves due to the multitude of changes involved.
credits not needed but appreciated!

What they don't tell you is that the hatred towards transID's has almost fucking halted a shit ton of progress because people don't wanna be seen as "supportive of the icky thing"
Having "not supportive of trans[insert disabled/disordered identity here]" in every single thing seems like it's the end, but I'd argue anti transID sentiment has contributed even more than that
Like making terms that fit A LOT OF PEOPLE end up only fitting certain ones, like "freak" somehow only going to disordered people, lovesick only to bpd old or OCD, and many more! Despite these things VERY OBVIOUSLY FITTING A LOT MORE PEOPLE!
The fluidity and overlap that several experiences have are being kinda shoved down
This obviously isn't fucking good, and is wildly bad for literally any attempt to get the world moving again
