I recently came back from a trip to Ireland which was absolutely beautiful. One thing I noticed is there doesn't seem to be a large car culture there. I saw a few modified cars and heard a radio announcement for the the only annual Japanese import car meet. If you've been there, have you participated in any events or if you live in Ireland, is there more of an underground car scene. I'm curious to hear! (Photo not taken in Ireland. QUESTION ALERT! Id appreciate if anyone can give insight into what happened to my car. Today when I started it, the two screens were black, the USB plug didn't work, and the dashboard lights were off. I turned the car off and waited a few minutes then turned it back on. It didn't happen again but now I have a check engine light on. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the 2018 Mustang GT Quiet Start in the comment section below. If you don’t know what that is continue reading! The Quiet Start has been nicknamed the “Good Neighbor Mode”. It was the brain child of former head of Ford vehicle engineering, Steve von Foerster, when the cops were called on him when starting his Shelby GT350® in his driveway. Steve says, “I love the sound of the V8, but it can be loud, and you can’t annoy people like that in your neighborhood…There has to be a way to give people more control over the engine’s sound.” This idea blossomed into the development of a new mode on the 2018 Mustang GT to keep the engine sound to a minimum and allow for scheduled programming of times rather than just the on/off functionality. During periods when the Quiet Start is on, the decibel level of the Mustang GT drops to about 10 decibels which is equivalent to the level of a dishwasher. This mode is available with the active valve performance exhaust system in addition to the other Normal, Sport and Track modes. What do you think about this mode?
