you are a landlord in brighton. your new tenant is a 17 year old "gamer and twitch streamer." you call him often to tell him to keep the noise down. one day you hear loud shaky breaths and dry sobs from his room. he's begging and yelling at someone named "dream" to leave him alone, to not kill him. you call 999.

I’m just saying, Sam not quite understanding that bodies are attached to people and their like physical integrity and limbs are importantly part of their physical self would make a lot of sense with…

- His response to the egg.  “yes. edible.” is a weird reaction to pieces of his body flaking off. And not better explained by any broader trends we’ve seen with egg infection. 

- His actions towards Ponk, not simply cutting off his arm, which Sam articulated understanding was worse than taking a canon life, but his surprise that Ponk didn’t get “over it”. 

- His apathy towards the loss of Hannah’s wings, as though he couldn’t understand why they were important.

i am once again thinking about c!tommy saying “people are gonna know this time, dream, they’re gonna know that you did this” and c!dream responding with “no, they’re not! everyone’s gonna think i changed, tommy, while i make your life a living hell.”

it’s how tommy points out that people didn’t know what was happening during exile, and they still don’t, not really. it’s the “people are gonna know this time.” it’s the admission that dream got away with it before, but the desperation for things to be different. it’s tommy’s need for not only a support system, but for everyone to know how bad of a guy dream truly is. it’s how before he barely spoke a word of what happened in exile due to fear and hurt and isolation. it’s how tommy is determined to change things for himself, and how we see that with him telling people like phil, quackity, and sapnap of his encounters with dream despite his fear.

it’s how dream fully admits that the people’s ignorance was on purpose, and how he plans for that to happen again. it’s how he plants the idea that people will forgive and accept him into tommy’s head specifically to dig deep into his fear of people not knowing. to isolate tommy once again in ways that aren’t physical (yet) and force him to experience what he’s experiencing alone. just like in exile.

You know, as complicated as the c!Phil situation is, I think it’s really f*cking great that every single person c!Tommy talked to believed him and was ready to help him at a moment's notice about his situation.

It’s just, sometimes his story can get really intense. It’s a story with a heavy focus on abuse and unhealthy relationships, it can get pretty serious. And, in the past, with the exile arc and the prison arc, the theme of isolation, whether physical, emotional or both, was also very present.

Every single time c!Tommy had to save himself from an awful situation after another. And it shows now! He has no confidence in the fact that other people will be willing to hear him out or believe him. He still sees his situation as him vs c!Dream situation that c!Dream forced him into before. But the fact that it’s not like that it’s really nice.

We have c!Phil who, as misinformed and generally wrong as he is, still believed c!Tommy instantly and gave him protection when asked to. We have c!Quackity also believing him instantly and insisting that he wants to be there for c!Tommy from now on if he ever needs him. We have c!Sam being deadly worried about him, and also immediately believing that c!Dream is a threat to him without c!Tommy even needing to say anything. C!Sapnap, despite their past differences, not only believed c!Tommy but also offered to fight with him against c!Dream so that it wouldn’t need to be just him vs his abuser.

Heck! C!Jack, who famously hates c!Tommy’s gut also was worried enough to basically have a crisis about whether he should help c!Tommy or not.

Every single character out there who knows about his situation actually showed they care. They proved that they believe him and are willing to help.

Despite how bleak his situation looks, I love the balance of positivity we’re getting.

I’m over the punz plot twist being bad writing, now it’s very funny

dream made the prison as terrible as possible so he could rack up sympathy points as fast as possible thinking he’d be in there for like a month, And Then Punz Got Egged. 

punz got possessed by an evil egg and fell in love with a little animal crossing robot and the direct cause and effect was dream getting tortured for like a year. Incredible Job Everyone
