Everyday worship: Hades
Look after my dog and tend to his every puppy whim.
Walk through cemeteries and clean gravestones.
Take time to honour the dead by reading their names aloud - especially where they have faded or been worn down on their grave markers.
Drink a lot of black coffee
Grow and help tend to the garden’s roses
Do any task given to me to my fullest ability.
Look after items my friends find too painful to hold onto because of the memories attached.

my eye twitches whenever someone is like “hey baby witches, remember to learn the history of witchcraft and magicK” and just like… leaves it at that. maybe this is hypocritical considering i do not make “beginner/educational” content myself but if i think if no reputable resource recommendations are provided this advice/admonition is worse than useless.
there’s so much BS about “history” in witchcraft books and online. You can’t trust most of the sources that most “baby witches” would immediately think to turn to on this topic, and it’s better to stay self-aware of your ignorance than gobble up misinformation and feel like you know shit.

Every time this comes across my feed, I’ve thought about an alternate version - I sat with my Hate long enough until he told me his real name was Fear.

Witchy Research Tips
As you may know, I do a lot of research for my posts, to the point of adding referenced and citations. So I know very well that occult and witchy history is murky at best and full of nazis at worst. Here are some tips I've come up with for those of you who want to do your own research.
Cross reference. Especially when you're looking into something that isn't widely accepted as fact or truth. For example, correspondences vary by region and culture, but a lot of times you'll be able to find similarities in the meanings of correspondences by looking at multiple sources. Cross referencing also helps keep biases in check!
Use Wikipedia as a starting point. High School may have scared you away from using Wiki as a source, but it can be really helpful! Go to the citations and reference sections at the bottom of the pages and you'll see a few, and some times a lot, of references that you can go off to read!
Check for references and citations, and then check those references and citations. There can be dozens of links in someone's reference section or on their blog, but if none of them are valid or have any historical relevance to the post, then they're useless.
Look for reputable sites. These are often sites created by experts or they consult experts. (Check below for resources)
Look into the author. Sadly the occult has a long history of bigots weaseling their way in, be sure you know who you're reading from.
Know that researching a bad person and why they're bad is not a bad thing and you are not bad for doing it.
Look for credentials. Why should you believe this author? What cultures and circles are they apart of? Are they an academic, scholar, or historian? Find the credentials needed for whatever you're researching.
Fact check. Especially if it's your first time seeing the statement somewhere, see if there are other credible sources that back this statement up.
Ask for references. This really only goes for blogs or social media. No one who researches and writes about it should be offended by you asking for references.
Ask around. If you're looking into something but don't know where to start, ask your witchy friends! You can also send me an ask and I'll do my best to send you resources if I can find them.
Talk to people who actually practice what you're looking into. If you're researching a culture or practice, talk to practitioners and see what they have to say before proceeding further.
This doesn't just go for those of us that love research, at some point in everyone's path they will stumble across something that needs to be looked into. You can also use these tips for casual research!
Here are a few of my favorite resources:
Sacred-texts.org
Your local library
worldhistory.org
@s-n-arly shared a list in this post of useful research sites such as:
refseek.com
worldcat.org
linkspringer.com
base-search.net
pdfdrive.com
If you're a person who also loves to research witchcraft and the occult, please add your favorite sources and tips in a comment or reblog!

Do you know any easy protection spell from malicious entities?
Take a bit of ash, salt, and moist dirt. Mix them together. With it, mark the top of your head, then mark the bottom of your feet. “Black earth that feeds the roots And lifeless flame turned to soot And the bitter sea’s stone fruit, I bid ye protect all that stands between my crown and boot And if it come from Heaven, or if it come from Hell, send it back into its home, for safely ‘twixt the two I dwell.”

Top 10 Lines in Palmistry.
Palmistry is an art of reading the hands. It is believed that everyone in this world has a destiny, which can be determined by analyzing the lines, rings and mounts on one’s hand. Out of these, lines and rings on the hand of a person are more important in context with palmistry-
1. Life Line Life line is obviously the most important line that can be found on the hand. By analysing it, one can determine how long will the bearer live and the ups and downs that he will face in his life. It starts below the mount of Jupiter (below index figure) and passes through the mount of Venus.
2. Head Line Brain is considered to be one of the most important organs of the body and line of head could tell how intelligent is the bearer of the line of head is expected to be. A long and straight line reflects a practical man whereas a curvy line of head means that the person is more creative than practical. It starts below mount of Jupiter and passes straight dividing the palm.
3. Heart Line Line of Heart is situated above the Line of Head and it determines the emotional level of a person. A short line indicates possibility of a heart attack and a complete absence of Line of Heart means that the person has no emotions in him and is likely to be of a criminal nature.
4. Fate Line The line of fate determines the fortune of a person. A straight and unbroken line of fate means that the person will be lucky in this life while a broken line of fate means that the person is likely to see lots of misfortunes during his life.
5. Sun Line Line of sun in situated below the ring finger. It determines the amount of success that a person is likely to attain in his life. A strong line of sun is considered a sign of a successful person.
6. Health Line Line of health is situated below the mount of mercury (under the little finger). It can determine the health of a person and generally, it is considered as a good sign, if this line is light or is not present at all; such a person is expected to live a healthy and ailment free life.
7. Marriage Line It is a small line situated just above the line of heart at the corner of the mount of mercury. One can have one of more line of marriage. The stronger lines represent marriage relationship while the lighter ones reflect affairs. An absence of line of marriage would mean that the person will not get married in this life.
8. Ring of Saturn It is in shape of a half moon and it surrounds the middle finger. The person, who has such a ring, is expected to be of a very serious nature and someone who likes to live alone. Generally, it is not considered a good sign to have such a ring on the hand.
9. Ring of Venus This ring starts from the middle of little finger and ring finger and end in the mid of index finger and middle finger. The bearer of such a ring is likely to be extravagant and is expected to lose his fortune due to this habit.
10. Ring of Sun This ring occupies position below the sun finger or the ring finger. Like other rings, ring of sun too is not considered to be a good sign. The bearer of such a ring is expected to be too proud and egoist in nature.
