   “...I’m not lost,” he huffs, a brow twitching in annoyance. Yet, the second another, curious fish approaches, he smacks the water again.    The kami borne from tears. Presides over controlling Kagutsuchi (and his flames). Potentially has the alternate name “Haniyasubime” (or “Haniyamahime”, depending on source). Is often seen carrying reeds, a gourd filled with water, and clay, items she also presides over. (As they are helpful ways to smothering out/dosing out fire.)

   Once a normal woman, her love was scorned by a handsome monk... In her heartbreak and rage, she transformed into a dragon and killed the man who spurned her affections. Escaping punishment, she lives a cursed life of seeking love and attempting murder on those who would reject her.

Priestess Rao

   The original priestess of Ankoku Temple. Rao was well-known for being a generous, kindhearted soul who did all in her power to help the less fortunate. She would travel to and from Sei’an City, maintaining both lives with ease and, some say, maintaining a close friendship with Queen Himiko. Later in life, though, she’d act quite different...
