It is quite crazy what hitting all/most of my self care goals in a day will do to my mind. Here’s my goals, in no particular order:

Brush my teeth twice, mouthwash (only once. Let’s be serious), take all my medicine and vitamins, outside time, read something that isn’t law school related, some form of movement, stretching, brush my hair and moisturize my skin.

Some days it feels insurmountable but other days I find joy at the end of the day knowing I did them all. Anyone else?

Painting my nails pink, even though I hate the way the shade looks on me. I’ll keep painting though. And I’m thinking. I wonder how many times I’ve painted myself in some way that feels wrong on me just because it looks right on everyone else
