i know i haven’t been on here in a while. I have to catch up. If anyone is wondering where i went -- well over to marcel.

      “Am i coming? Can you slow down, i get it- we’re on a mission, but i have more than him to worry about.”   Looking up and seeing him ten steps ahead, hers became faster, wider. “Jace.” She grumbled. Trying her hardest to catch up. After a moment Clary stopped dead in her tracks, crossing her arms defiantly. “I’m not one of you, not yet. -- Besides we need to find Simon, and he won’t be in the library.”

                                                     with quick stride, he FLIES through the hallways of the institute, determination a fire in his eyes as he heads towards the LIBRARY. if they’re lucky, there might be something THERE to jog her memory. in the mean time, however, she’ll  j u s t  have to learn to keep up. with VALENTINE out there, they don’t have the leisure of SLOWING DOWN.          ‘ i don’t have time to REPEAT myself. are you coming or NOT ? ‘

     “It was too strong to reverse? There has to be some way to fix it.” She said, her words coming out more needy than she intended. Clary was beyond angry, neither of them had the right to wipe her memory, it wasn’t fair. Though he sounded genuine, looking up at him, she frowned lightly. “Its.. It’s fine. I’ll figure something out. What’s done is done, right?”

“I do not know. The glamour I performed is strong. I have done it multiple times. So I may not have the ability to do so.” Magnus informed her. Even the High Warlock of Brooklyn had his limitations. He shook his head hearing her words. “I am sorry Clarissa. I tried to tell your mother not to do it. I could tell even then you did not want this. But she would not listen to me. She wanted to protect your from our world the only way she knew how to.”

     Clary sighed, he wasn’t supposed to leave her there alone. Though the others next statement made her laugh, she tried to hold it in, but couldn’t. “-- Yes, he does seem to love himself a bit too much.” She agreed. “Oh, sorry, no i’m -- well you could say new. I’m new here.” She nodded, not sure if that were the right way to explain it. “Clary Fray, nice to meet you?”

    evella kept her eyes fixed on the large book in her lap, “ no, he wasn’t really specific. “ she adjusts her glasses before glancing up at the other girl, “     but knowing jace, he’s probably on a mission or looking for a mirror to look at himself in. “ she drums her fingernails on the open page. the girl before her didn’t look the least bit familar,  “ uh     do i know you? “

    “He’s gone. How could he be gone?      -- Why didn’t they watch him?”

     “Do i look like a crude person?” She teased, shooting him a cheeky grin.. “You have a twin sister?” Clary asked, arching an eyebrow. She was almost positive she was an only child, but at this rate her mother could have hid that as well. Seeing him become so shocked, she shrugged lightly. “I mean, i don’t have any memories, at this rate Jace knows more about me, than i do.. I’m just trying to wrap my mind around things.”

“As long as it’s not crude, I think I can deal with your nickname.” Xavier tilted his head and thought for a moment before he spoke. “When you have a twin sister who often has a bad sense of direction unless she is on a mission; it becomes a habit.” He said. Xavier raised his eyebrows in surprise, his blue hues questioning her. “That is strange. But you either have Nephilim blood or have The Sight, some mundanes who have can ascend to becoming Shadowhunters. Not many have done it, but it has happened in the past.”

Alright i need sleep. I’ll be around tomorrow if not before work, i’ll be on after work. Leave me things to come back to?

     “--- You’ll get one, eventually.” She nodded, returning his grin. It was the first time in three days she felt she could relax, even if only a little. “You could have pointed, or, told me i was going the wrong way, but yes, i’m glad you didn’t yank me around like a rag doll.” She admitted with a small nod. Walking side by side, she looked up at him. “I don’t know X.. One minute i was turning eighteen, the next i was attacked by a demon, and i woke up with a tattoo on my neck.” She explained, frowning slightly. “I’m not sure i’m supposed to have runes.”

“Good to know, but at least I know that you like the nickname that is probably going to be stuck with you.” Xavier said with a grin. “I was guiding you into the wrong direction. Plus it is better than yanking your hand. Quite a few of the other guys don’t have the best charms.” He smirked, walking slowly for her as they talked. “Clary Fray…. well it’s a pleasure to meet you little red. Can I ask why you don’t have many runes on your skin?” He asked hesitantly, not too sure if she was new or just unexperienced in the Shadowhunter world.

      Clary smiled as he explained himself, a soft laugh escaping her lips. “Honestly, i like it.” She nodded. “So maybe i won’t introduce myself.” The girl was only half teasing. Once her body was spun, she let out a low yelp, her hands going out to steady herself once more. Looking up at him curiously. “Do any of you guys have manners?” She asked, rolling her eyes. Motioning for him to lead the way. “Clary Fray. Nice to meet you Xavier.”

Xavier smiled faintly as he shrugged his shoulders. “You’re smaller than me, and you’re hair is very red.” He raised an eyebrow at her as she shrugged. Nodding faintly, he gently grabbed her shoulders and spun her around. “No need to apologise, not many mundanes come through any of the Institutes anyway. I’m sure in the working center whoever you’re looking for is there. I’m Xavier Ravenscar.”

      “-- Do you know where Jace went?” She asked, looking over at the girl. Someone she hadn’t met, but-- she was in the same place as them, so she must be somewhat trustworthy, right?

       She gripped onto his jacket for a moment, steadying herself before pulling back, and crossing her arms. “Little red?” She asked, arching an eyebrow. To be frank she actually enjoyed the nickname. Looking around once more, before looking back up at him, she shrugged. The only place she knew how to get to was the old church, but he didn’t need to know that, did he? “I-- I’m not sure. Sorry.” She apologized again.

Xavier was back at the Institute after a small demon hunt. Turning left, he looked down after felling something collide with him. Fiery hair cascaded around the smaller girl. “It’s fine. Where you supposed to be little red?” He asked, looking for any other Shadowhunters looking for this particular girl… who didn’t seem to have any runes on her, which made him curious.

       The red head was lost, she didn’t know where to go or who to trust. And she had seemed to lose Jace and the others. Feeling her body thud against another, she let out a soft groan. “Oh-- I’m sorry i must have taken the wrong turn.” Even as she said the words, she was looking for something familiar. That and she needed to know she was safe.

     Hearing his words, she froze, there was so much about her life that she hadn’t known. “My head’s going to explode.” She murmured softly, letting out an exasperated sigh. Clary tried to wrap her brain around the fact that she would visit him often enough to have multiple memories swept. “Can you bring them back?” She asked, taking a few steps closer to the other. Cautious not to get too close. “-- My mother wasn’t the one who should have made my decisions, why wasn’t i asked, did i not matter?”

“Yes, your mother and I knew each other well. You often visited me when you were a child.” Magnus explained as vaguely as he could. Brows furrowed hearing that Jocelyn had not told Clary anything. This would only make things more complicated on his end. There was so much she did not know. He shook his head at her question. “No, I do not have them. I only preformed a glamour on your mind every couple years as per your mother’s request to shield you from our world.”
