My entry for the @multiverse-adventures Valentine’s Day contest.
Synopsis: College!AU - It’s Valentine’s Day. Barry & Iris’s best friends are convinced they have the perfect blind date set up for them. When both are stood up, they end up at Jitters and find romance where they least expected it. Barry/Iris. Implied Caitlin/Cisco. Oneshot.

“What’s wrong with a coffee shop?” Barry asked, taking a sip of his highly-caffeinated beverage and then cradling the mug in both hands. “Everybody loves coffee. Plus, the bakery.” His eyes widened and he nodded slowly. “If things start to go bad, I can always buy her pastries. Jitters has scones and cake pops and muffins and – and,” he emphasized when his best friend looked about to speak. “I bet some of them will even be heart-shaped for Valentine’s Day.”
“Probably all of February,” Cisco muttered under his breath, but Barry heard him.
“See! There you go. A coffee date at Jitters on Valentine’s Day is the perfect idea.”
Cisco sighed.

Hey everyone! Our very first fan-fiction/fan-art prompt centers on VALENTINE’S DAY. Below are three prompts that involve West Allen and Valentine’s Day in some shape or form.
Choose ONE prompt and write a response to it. If you’re an artist, create a piece of fan art that correlates with the prompt.

RULES
You have until February 11 11:59 pm. EST to write/draw your response and get it posted according to the rules in THIS introduction post.
After your submission has been posted on the appropriate platforms, you will have TWO FULL DAYS (February 12 and 13) to promote your submission across Tumblr and other social media sites.
Then, the FANDOM (not us) will determine who wins! (Winners are determined by the cumulative amount of Likes/Comments/Reblogs the submission gets across all platforms.
1 like= 1 point 1 reblog= 2 points 1 comment or critique= 3 points
We place more weight on comments because the goal, in addition to encouraging more fanfiction/art within the fandom, is to also encourage more INTERACTION from the fandom. WE hope these contests will encourage readers to let the writers and artists know what they think of their work.
