You can watch the whole video if you want, but at 13 seconds when he pulls the blob out of the furnace and WHOOOSH it's suddenly a ghost?
Good stuff.
Corning Museum Instagram but their youtube has full demonstrations and livestreams.
Chris Rochelle Instagram has lots of neat things but mostly this ghost.

Another five page kinky comic I drew last year! This one’s about getting started with wax play. Be safe and have fun!

I love genuinely innocent “boys will be boys.” Just saw a guy come out of a frat house to poke a pair of jeans they’d left outside - they were frozen solid, and as soon as he confirmed that, like twenty more boys came rushing out of the house going “YOOOOOOOOOO”

Do you ever write a sentence and then realize “Nah, that’s too self aware for you” and backspace a bunch of times.

starting a new company, Autistic Auditors, where we send blunt autistic people to check up on things like companies to stand there and be like “actually that thing the CEO said made no sense, elaborate” and pushing them to actually explain their dodgy corporate language that avoids accountability and reliability. Just really grind them down with repeated “why” and “but what does that mean” and writing down the answers in clear and obvious language.
IDK I’m just sick of hearing how Business Bros talk and how many people are suckers for it. I want blunt people standing there going “hey, that guy didn’t actually SAY anything, he just strung together a bunch of nonsense corporate words to make you think ‘ooo profit’ but there’s nothing substantial here”
We would do the same to politicians.

Part of what makes more realistic horror antagonists like Jimmy so disturbing is because he is just as much a person as anyone else on that ship. His suffering, and madness, and anger, and mistakes are mostly things that could happen to anyone in a similar setting. You aren't meant to like him, but as OP says, Jimmy is still a character.
By removing personhood from one character who did something awful, you're diminishing both their actions and their victims. You're drawing a line that says, "A real person wouldn't do this. None of the people I know could do this, so if anyone says they did, they must be lying. After all, my friend is a person!"
Which, if you think about it, is a sentiment Curly probably had to wrestle with. Jimmy was a person to him. A friend since childhood. But Anya was his friend too, and she had chosen to be vulnerable with him. Imagine putting yourself in that situation. Imagine your best friend doing that to someone you care for. Would you think he was any less of a person?
Crazy mouthwashing take I know fellas but
Can we treat jimmy like a character please, at first the "jimmy sucks" jokes were funny now it's more annoying than ever
Like congrats fellas you've made his one character trait "He did bad thing therefore he's not real" and dug it into the ground. A lot of people way smarter than me have made better posts on this issue but my point still stands

Computers are very simple you see we take the hearts of dead stars and we flatten them into crystal chips and then we etch tiny pathways using concentrated light into the dead star crystal chips and if we etch the pathways just so we can trick the crystals into doing our thinking for us hope this clears things up.

99% of "mysterious disappearances" esp of people in their 20s who start acting weird for 48 hours and then vanish are not mysterious, thats just when a lot of reality-obliterating mental illness tends to kick in and it's pretty easy to get a short circuit in your brain that makes you go family guy death pose in joshua tree national park. it's not any less tragic, it's just a documented phenomenon and not particularly predictable. its a big reason the medical advice is for people with a family history of schizophrenia to completely avoid weed and psychedelics. "people just go crazy sometimes" is a principle of human health that used to be a lot more accepted prior to the american midcentury and to a certain extent thats a healthier way to conceptualize and prepare for the risk, as opposed to the modern assertion that anyone acting weird is dangerous and broken forever.
