One of my coworkers is trying to raise money to help take care of her autistic son. Check out the link if you can (hopefully it works).

Here’s her story:

“Jonas is a wonderful and amazing 9 year old boy.  He is such a blesssing, but has some major challenges. Some of the biggest ones are high functioning Autism, ADHD, DMDD, and ODD.  That is alot of letters I know.  He is a sweet and creative little boy.  As some people know Jonas has had a rough few years.  He has been hospitalized multiple times for agression, Suicidal Ideations and Self Harm actions.  He loves to play with legos and be a normal 9 year old.  The thing is, he needs help with alot of basic daily tasks.  He also needs to be surrounded with caring and trained individuals.  As with any medical and nuerological disorders, cost are expensive.  Both my husband and I work but struggle with just paying our bills, so being able to afford the services that he needs is nearly impossible.  This is where we need your help.  This summer we have found a great daycamp for him, but it cost money to go and we just don’t have it.  So we are calling out to all those people who know and care about our son asking to please help.  Any little bit would be great.  We are looking at other funding sources as well but right now, there just isnt any.  So please look into your heart and see if there is anything that you can afford to do.  Please help us to give our son the chance to have a helpful and fun summer, with other kids and people who know how to help him best.”

Will’s eyes glimmered at the valuable jewel in her hands. And her mentioning about having more of those? He could get a lot of currency for that. She definitely was royalty alright. The male knight gave a simple nod.

“That’ll do it,” Will replied with a satisfied smile, taking the jewelry off her hands. “Feel free to pay up more if you wanna make the traveling experience more comfortable and less painful.” He gave a confident expression. “Believe it or not, there’s a small town on the way to the gates of Caelum… and I’m sure you’d like to stop by for food and rest… for one more jewel, of course,” the blonde male told her. “But you’re fine for now.”

After putting the emerald into his pocket, Will took a step forward to the path before looking back at Kai.

“Your destination to the human realm starts now,” he declared with a calm yet cool smile. “Be careful not to get left behind~”

Kai sighed. By the time she reached her betrothed, she’d be all but stripped of all her wedding jewelry. 

Well, she better get her money’s worth. “Good sir,” Kai said, as she picked up the sides of her massive skirt. “Perhaps you could provide some help. MY gown does not allow me the pleasure of moving quickly.”

Plus the shoes she’d been forced into, the high heels, were digging into her toes.

“If I provided you with this...” she unclipped one of her diamond earrings and held it out to the knight, “...will you carry me to the town? Until we can get a horse?”
