An update from JayEz, now Jay Pendragon

Hi folks ♥ 

SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED in the past year, it’s astounding!

I’ve fallen into the deepest pits of depression, which sucked but also made me start my Starker fic “Tipping The Scale”, which is about to be completed…

…  coinciding with me actually RECOVERING from my eating disorder and discovering how amazing life can be when you’re not in the throes of addictive behaviour. YAY! 

Plus, I’ve secured and finished my very first rewrite, plus signed the contract for my second gig! I’m now a paid screenwriter. (shush, a little money is still money)

I found my pseudonym. For real. Soon I’ll be blogging at jaypendragon.com. I’ve already switched my AO3 user name from JayEz to JayPendragon. 

Also, I’ve started posting to Medium, where I decided I’ll share more personal stuff as opposed to my professional writing blog on my website.

And I’ve started a Patreon!  

… and I’ve come into my trans* identity. Even officially changed my name and gender in my birth certificate, yay! Happy pride month, y’all :)

I’m barely on Tumblr anymore, so if I don’t react to stuff, please don’t take offense. I’m pretty active on Twitter, @Jay_Pendragon. So if you want to reach me quickly (or even just in a timely fashion), that’s where you can!

As to my WIPS…. 

“Tipping The Scale” only needs two more chapters. Ch24 is with my beta, @merlenhiver, and ch25 already has a few thousand words of a first draft. 

“Raising Hybrid Puppies” will be me next priority after TTS is finished. I’ve been meaning to post two short(ish) sequels to this verse for months now, but mental health and life and TTS simply didn’t permit. Hopefully, readers will still be there xD

Other WIPs…. will be finished at some point. But with my professional writing taking up more of my time and actually paying a few of my bills, I can’t afford to spend too much time on fanfic. Sorry!

Not sure why I have the urge to post this today, but I’ve been meaning to share some of this for a while.
