My TLT granny square cardigan bolero is finally complete! At long last I can signal to the world how truly annoying I am 💪😤

I used this granny square cardigan pattern as a guideline, this granny square pattern for the skull squares, and this rose pattern for the Seventh House eye roses. The laurel wreaths, blindfolds, scrolls, crowns, and even the Second House helmets were all freehanded. Probably my favorite part of this project was making all the little skulls and roses, and my least favorite part was those fuckin helmets lmao

29 patches comprise the body, 20 comprise each sleeve. Each of the nine houses are represented at least twice (including the First!), and when I either ran out of yarn or options on the back panel, I added a final prismatic square I like to call the "Lyctor" patch.

I made the sleeves way longer than necessary out of Fear, but one smart thing I did was add a panel of unornamented rainbow patches, so that the part of the sleeve closest to my body wouldn't have a bunch of ornamentation.

Super excited to wear this to a convention/the grocery store/Easter brunch & sweat to death in it.

I want you to T-pose. Turn your right thumb up and your left thumb doen and look at your right thumb. Move your arms up and down a bit until you feel a nerve running from your armpit to your palm. Now turn your right thumb down and your left thumb up, and look at your left thumb. Keep your chest facing forward and your shoulders back. Move your arms again until you feel that nerve again. Keep alternating between these two for a minute, or look at each thumb thirty times each.

Now sit down. Put your left hand firmly under your left buttock, palm down. Keep your shoulders back and put your right hand over the crown of your head, very gently pulling it to the right. Do this for thirty seconds, then do it again but with your right hand under your right buttock.

These are stretches for the nerves in your arms, and are very good for people who sit behind a computer a lot, or fibre artists, or you name it. Do them daily. They will hurt in the beginning, but keep doing them, even after the pain has gone, or it will return and you'll have to start all over.

You don't have to like weed but I find people who are vehemently anti-weed but claim to be left leaning infuriating. If you go into a rage because you smelled someone smoking pot, how the fuck do you expect to form community with people addicted to meth? It's easier to say you hate smokers than to say you hate all drug users in leftist spaces because one makes you sound a bit like a square while the other is the writing on the wall. You aren't anti-weed, you're anti-drug user and anyone who uses substances is not safe around you.
