udilven pokedex 1-3: grass starter line.
Name: Poncharm (from pond + charm.) Title: The Shy Prince Pokemon Genders: Male / Female Typing: Grass Abilities: Overgrow / Flower Gift Physical Description: A small, quadrupedal frog-like Pokemon that has leaves around its face like a royal collar and a vine-like pattern on its body. It has a flower bud atop its head like the jewel of a diadem, and holds a golden ball against its chest like a child unwilling to share its toy. It tends to show an expression of displeasure or anxiety. It has a primarily green color palette, with the flower and vine patterns on its body being yellow to match the gold of the orb it carries. Dex Entry: Poncharm are a rare sight in the region, owing to the decreasing temperature of the overall area where it once resided. Stories of the origins of Poncharm draw back to a legend that a prince in the region once treated an ancient Fairy poorly, breaking the well-known rules of hospitality. In response, the Fairy turned him into the first Poncharm and the Pokemon began appearing around the region afterwards. They are very shy Pokemon, but are known to bond fiercely to trainers who push them to step out of their shells. If a Poncharm shares the golden orb it carries with its trainer, it has grown to truly trust them.
-----------------
Name: Croakable (from croak + fable.) Title: The Lost Prince Pokemon Genders: Male / Female Typing: Grass / Fairy Abilities: Overgrow / Flower Gift Physical Description: A semi-bipedal frog-like Pokemon that has leaves around its face like a royal collar, as well as a leaf-like capelet. The flowers on its brow have started to bloom, giving it a more elaborate circlet, and vine-like patterns across its body. The golden orb it held as a Poncharm is larger, and it holds it in one hand at a time while wearing a bored expression. The color palette remains the same, though the green is of a slightly darker shade. Dex Entry: Croakable are imperious, fussy Pokemon, having grown up from the very shy Poncharm into a reserved, but prideful creature. It has a tendency to argue with other Pokemon, who find it silly when it is trying to give them orders like it's in charge. This leads to Croakable being a bit spoiled and frustrated, though having a deep bond with its trainer can alleviate some of these feelings. The golden orb it carries glows faintly in the presence of those it cares for, showing its true feelings even when it tries to come off as aloof.
-----------------
Name: Froschking (from frosch, the german word for frog + king.) Title: The Proud King Pokemon Genders: Male / Female Typing: Grass / Fairy Abilities: Overgrow / Flower Gift
Physical Description: A bipedal frog-like Pokemon that has a collar of leaves around its neck and a long, leaf-like cape at its back. The buds on its brow have fully bloomed into a crown of flowers, and the vine-like pattern on its body have become the same shade of golden-yellow as the flowers and the orb it carries. The orb is a center of power for it and it holds it proudly in its hands. The anxious or bored expression has been replaced with one of serene contentment, having found a place it belongs.
Dex Entry: Finally a proper royal, Froschking are considered benevolent rulers of the territories they sought as Croakable, and they treat these glades as one would a court in a kingdom. Places that are home to these Pokemon bloom exquisitely bright flora, and as such they are often sought after by rich trainers to invigorate their home gardens in order to appear more vibrant than before. However, Froschking will never obey a trainer will ill-intentions and as such, are hard to train for these particular people.

18. What do people from this region think of themselves?
the people of the udilven region tend to think of themselves as hardy, stalwart people who Get Shit Done in a way that a lot of places don't. while the battle culture isn't the main focus in the region, they are very, very proud of their battles and have a tendency to fight just as much as the kantonian trainers that sometimes visit the region.
they are also a people who lean heavily into old traditions regarding legendaries and their effects on the world, so you can ask many people, especially on the edges of the region, and learn a lot from the locals.
19. Are there non-battling competitions? (ie contests, pokeathlons)
they have contest halls very similar to the ones in hoenn! additionally, there are local festivals that involve feats of strength and training that aren't battling, like bale tossing or heavy lifting using big, strong pokemon that the local farmhands raised.

* never-melt ice.
mtnprof, an independent roleplay blog for an original character from a fanregion, by vlad.
rules under cut. character information here.
This is an independent roleplay blog for PROF. VANYA, an original character based in the POKEMON UNIVERSE. Primarily based in a fanregion, but flexible to interact with the wider community.
While Pokemon is typically a light-hearted series, much of my worldbuilding and characterization is taken from talking with friends about the world-building present in the manga and our own world-building. As such, heavy themes will likely be present, including grief, death, the weight of responsibility, and the nonlinear path of healing.
My rules are very simple: don't be an asshole to me out of character and we'll probably vibe! Don't be weird! If there's a problem of some kind, by all means, feel free to approach me about it.
Things not tolerated are homophobia, transphobia, racism, and other such acts of indecency. If I see it, I will block you and blast you in public for everyone to see.
Other rules include:
I will not send in passwords, but please rest assured I have read your rules whenever we interact.
I roll dice to determine outcomes for roleplay & often use D&D mechanics. If this is a problem, this is not the blog for you!
I do not have any triggers of my own to tag, but will tag yours if they come up! My tagging scheme is trigger cw.
My fanregion lore is all over the place, but not required for your muse to know about. I'm happy to share any information unable to be located easily.
