Drunk Tom flirts with Harry in front of people.FF universe.Think you can whip it up?;p
Maybe not quite whipped up quickly (sorry), or what you wanted, but here you go ;P
For someone who so despised sentiment, someone whonear-openly viewed his relationships with people in a reptilian cost-benefitformula, Tom had a disarming habit of saying intensely sentimental things.
Consider it aninvestment. A confirmation that you’re not replaceable to me, and that I’d bewilling to spend the rest of my life with you.
I would let the wholeworld burn before I willingly let go of you and these memories.
If I deserveeverything, I deserve to get to keep you.
Tom’s lessons in flirting and seduction had, terribly, hilariously, and more usefully than Harry was willing to admit, become aregular drunken fixture after Harry’s failed dates.  However, perhaps even more importantly thanactually helping Harry keep a girlfriend for longer than a few scant months, the game of it all had become a less intense way for Harry to reciprocate Tom’ssentiments.
Drunk and flirting was the only time they could be trustedto say nice things freely to each other, without searching for the catch in thehoney.
It wasn’t that Tom didn’t normally mean his praise, morethat his sincerity was a calculating one. Tom generally flattered when hewanted something, or had done something Harry didn’t approve of, or maybe theworld had come down to another life or death scenario. Compliments always came witha string attached.
And it wasn’t that Harry minded Tom knowing how much he cared, but it was difficult to say it in a conversation even when they always hadwords for each other. Harry generally flattered when he was about to die, orthe world had gone to hell, and if Tom dragged it out of him and it was pricklyand weaponized by the time it left his tongue.
But drunk lessons in flirting and seduction?
It was easy start for them. A game, like everything they didwas a game, but a nice one. A self-absorbed, indulgent game of out-charmingeach other that, miraculously after the first time, they both found they ratherenjoyed.
They knew each other’s weak points and sore spots, theinsecurities and the hatred, from hours upon hours of fighting and avoidingjust the words that would destroy them. It took drunken flirting to hit upon a mode of manipulation that wasinstead about finding the bits they liked best and so over the years flirting, just like “darling,” transformed from the jab it started out as to somethingelse entirely.
And from specific seduction lessons, it turned into ageneral habit. An inside joke.
I can imagine you ineternity, Tom.
Nobody has ever seenand accepted me like you do.
I like the world we’vebuilt together.
Of course, people were even more convinced that they were acouple than ever because by the very nature of being drunk they started publiclyacting like they normally did with each other in private.
Consequently Tom normally only got drunk when it was onlyhim and Harry, though that didn’t keep people from occasionally walking in onthem.
But sometimes there were situations that led to Tom drinkingin semi-public – in other words, around his and Harry’s inner circle.  Harry would never forget the first time.
They’d managed to push through their werewolf rights billafter over a year of effort and campaigning on the matter.
Champagne corks popped, frothing up whatever flutes andglasses could be conjured in a steady stream of pale gold and bubbles. The roomfilled with laughter, bear hugs – Remus seemed in near tears.
It was the perfect atmosphere to celebrate, unwind, and ofcourse compliment. After the initial hectic speeches and toasts and drinking was done, everyonemerry and flushed, he and Tom found themselves standing close. Shouldersbrushing. Somewhere, music drifted through the house.
“You did it,” Tom murmured, lips near Harry’s ear to beheard properly. He clinked their glasses together.
“We did it,” Harrysaid. “It’s not like you to not take credit.” He grinned, lazy and teasing.
“True.” Tom inclined his head with an amused smile. “But youspearheaded the project. It was yours, as much as I my assistance was no doubtinvaluable to your cause.”
“There you go.”
“But it is like you to not take credit,” Tom continued, gazeintent. “You have a terrible habit of consistently undermining your ownbrilliance.”
Harry blinked. Colour rushed to his cheeks. So of course hestarted flirting before Tom could, because Tom pounced the second he saw Harrysquirming about anything – especially, more recently, flattery. “Why, darling,I didn’t know you felt that way.” He turned, purring, mimicking Tom’s voiceflawlessly. His hand fluttered to Tom’s hip.
Tom’s eyes gained a familiar, slightly less piercing, sparkin response.  He wet his lips. “Clearly Idon’t tell you enough.” He brushed Harry’s hair back from his forehead. “Youare exquisite. I particularly liked that last put down to dear Dolores, verywithering.”
“You do so love to watch me torture people in any way you can.”
“I do.” Satisfaction dripped through every inch of Tom’stone. “You should indulge me more.”
Harry snorted. “Oh should I?” he grinned.
Tom’s hands slid down his back, tugging him closer. Harry’s glided up along Tom’s chest instead, settling on his shoulders.
“Most definitely. Really, it’s dreadfully teasing of you tomake me so long each time to watch you get your hands bloody.”
Harry laughed. “God help you if I ever actually startthrowing curses and not just insulting people.”
“Power the Dark Lord knows not.”
“Yeah, middle of a duel and you’re too stunned by my viciousbeauty to defend yourself. Perfect. One for the history books.”
“Makes me glad you’re on my side. That really would be apitiful ending,” Tom said, in a serious tone of voice. His eyes still gleamed.
“Well considering your own rather stunning ruthlessness inpursuit of what you want, it’s probably for the best.”  Harry’s head tilted as he watched Tom’s face, watchedthe flicker of pleasure cross it. “I’m really glad you’re not trying to kill mestill. I would not want to face you on a battlefield.”
“Would you like us toleave the room so you can get each other off properly?” Alphard interrupted.
Right. People. They looked around, but didn’t step back tocreate more distance. Hermione looked rather flushed, and many others were in similar states ofawkwardness.
“Why would we do that?” they said in unison. “You all seemto be enjoying watching so much.”
“But can you wait for us to get popcorn?” That was Fred andGeorge. “I’m half expecting this to turn into a porno considering the looks onyour faces.”
“Boys!” Molly made a swat towards their head.
Tom, shockingly, laughed. Just a little but it was his reallaugh. The moment broke, even drunk, and they pulled back.
Then promptly caught each other’s eyes a moment later and silentlychallenged who could cause the biggest stir with a comment that night.
