What should I do if I don't haven enough token cards for the amount of tokens I am summoning, what's acceptable as a replacement for those token cards? and should I sleeve my tokens a different color them my main deck?
You can use more less anything to represent tokens, as long as your playgroup is okay with it. I’ve seen players use everything from face-down unsleeved cards, to dice, to green and tan plastic army men to represent tokens before. If you use cards for tokens, sleeving them a different color from your deck seems like a good idea to me.
As far as tournaments and other sanctioned events go, you probably want to check the official rules for that event to make sure the way you’re representing tokens is okay. (Alas, I’m afraid rules for sanctioned events are not my forte.) When in doubt, asking the judge or TO of the event is always a good move.

How are spells with 'X' in their CMC checked on the stack? Example: casting Sphinx's Revelation and paying 5 for the 'x'. Is this spell's CMC 8 on stack?
Tumblr media
The value of X while the spell is on the stack is the value that was paid for X. So the CMC of Sphinx’s Revelation while it’s on the stack is 8 if you paid 5 for X.
The value of X everywhere except on the stack is always 0.

Note
If you have Hostility on the battlefield and the opponent has 5 creatures on the battlefield and I use Boiling Earth and prevent the damage, does Hostility create 5 elemental tokens or just 1
Tumblr media
You don’t get any tokens. Hostility’s replacement effect only cares about damage dealt to your opponent. It doesn’t care about damage dealt to their creatures.

Note
If an Ally enters the battlefield does its Rally effect activate right way or does it need to be on the battlefield already when another one enters
Tumblr media
All the Rally creatures say, “Whenever (this) or another Ally enters the battlefield…”
They will trigger from themselves entering.

How do legendary types work? Been seeing a lot of matches where both players have the same legendary creatures in their decks. How is it devided who can have the only one in tge field? Or do they kill each other like in 'Time Cop?'
The Legend Rule only cares about objects controlled by the same player. You and your opponent can each have the same legendary creature in play without a problem. (This didn’t used to be true, but it’s true under the current rules.)

With Prowess returning in the recent Magic Origins set (and now being evergreen in Magic moving forward), we thought it was a good time to revisit our tutorial on Prowess.

Right you are! Apologies for any confusion folks.
If I have "In the Eye of Chaos" and "Melek: Izzet Paragon" in play and I cast an instant, do I have to pay the x cost for Eye of Chaos for the copy of the instant?
You still have to pay (X). I realize this is confusing with In The Eye of Chaos’s printed text, but if you check out its Gatherer page and read its Oracle text:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=202410
then you’ll see ITEOC’s ability is now written as a triggered ability.
When you cast an instant spell – regardless of how you paid for said instant – ITEOC will trigger, and that trigger will go on the stack ahead of the spell. When the trigger resolves, you’ll have the opportunity to pay (X). If you don’t, the trigger will counter the spell. This all occurs after you cast the spell but before it resolves.
