Hi, friends. I wasn't planning to push commissions again so soon but I've suddenly got to pull together $100 to cover a vet bill.

update: I no longer have a job because our state government just shut that shit down 🙃

um... any good things in my life?

I might finally have an actual job again pretty soon? technically a paid volunteer position but, well, I'm getting paid and that's what I need. it's not something I want to be doing or a place I like working in but it's relatively simple tasks in pretty small shifts for just a couple days a week.

which now I realize sounds like a very insignificant thing to feel good about at all but... small wins are still wins... right? it's something?

*through gritted teeth* the world is GOOD. people are kind. Humans are NOT inheritly selfish. you will make it through this year. recovery is possible. people you don't know yet will love you. You are going to do things you can't even imagine right now. You are going to read a rlly good book. You are going to eat some rlly good food. You are going to experience joy again. Things can get better. Situations can change. You can choose to be kinder. The world can change for the better.

As an autistic person, you can literally tell someone "I mean this genuinely and literally and this is all genuinely good faith. I mean this all completely neutrally, I'm not implying anything else and this is all extremely literal and good faith" and someone will still misconstrue you in ways you never thought was possible.
