You wanna know what I absolutely hate?

When teachers say “do you think you’re being cute” to shut down a kid who’s just genuinely trying to lighten the mood or goof a little bit. Some kids don’t know when they’re doing something wrong, and saying something so degrading and frankly shaming to them in front of the whole class is... really rude??

It can make the kid feel embarrassed and ashamed about being happy and trying to lighten a situation they feel stressed or uncomfortable in. Literally it’s not that hard to talk to them after class about interruptions or something that needs corrected in behavior.
