Welp. Guess I'm back after like ten years, only as a former twt ARMY. Don't follow if you're opposed to voting and streaming or otherwise meaningfully supporting BTS. Namyoonminkook biased, but OT7, always!

vote on 2022mama.com/vote 🚨 it'll be THE LAST DAESANG we can give our boys for the next years❗
if you hit ip limit: turn wifi router off/on, switch shortly to airplane mode and back, use mobile data or try a different browser/the app.
also stream YET TO COME on MAMA's Spotify playlist 1x per day per acc and the GRAMMY NOMINATED MV on Youtube!
it gets embarrassing really. yes, the others get help from other fandoms and cheat by using vpn, but considering what a huge fandom we are, this constant struggle and that we can't widen the gap more than 30k before it starts decreasing again, is embarrassing. period.

Twt armys are kinda used to the agressive approach about it, but I kinda get how it can freak out people who aren't on twt. That's ok. It can be overwhelming. Especially for people who have been fed horror stories about streaming and voting all day and night without sleep and how it’s “inorganic” (it’s not, btw - or rather, the entire music industry is inorganic and streaming is one of the few ways we can use to level the ground a little bit).
Here’s the thing about streaming: it should be fun. There are different ways to stream and even if you’re not cut out for the intense streaming twt army tend to do, you can still help a lot. You can create your own playlists that customize how often you want to hear a certain song. There are playlists you can use that are less intense. Or you can just put BTS’ music on shuffle and help with streams on other songs. The important thing is, that we are fans of musicians, first and foremost, so when we talk about streaming, we really mean to appreciate BTS for the reason they started this whole journey they took us on.
As for voting, it can be really scary too, because especially in voting seasons, like now, there’s a bunch of things to pay attention to. But it is important, because it’s one of the ways we as fans can communicate with BTS. I can’t sit Namjoon down and tell him we’re not going anywhere, but hopefully, making sure they still get the awards they deserve, can communicate that to him. I have seen people argue that BTS don’t care about awards and don’t need them anymore, but the truth is that especially with awards that were given to them by ARMY voting, BTS have always been greatful about those. They were always about giving ARMY their best and working hard for us and the fan-voted trophies are a gesture to them from us that we see and appreciate their effort. Please don’t underestimate how important your vote can be. And don’t be afraid to ask if you don’t know how to vote.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk, lol. In short, please stream and vote, but find a way to do it without making it feel like a chore. It’s not suppossed to be and burning yourself out will not help anyone.
But also, please don’t buy into the narrative that streaming/voting is useless/inorganic/uncool or otherwise unnecessary. This is something that’s often found in kpop spaces and BTS succeeded in part because army don’t work that way.
I remember the birth of Tumblr. No 16yr old kpop stans are gonna tell me how to post on here.
Armys stream and vote for BTS because that's what fans do. Streaming is literally just listening to music. 🙄
If you don't want to stay in your little corner benefiting from BTS'S efforts whilst doing nothing to actually support them.
One of the things that inspired me most about Army when I first joined the fandom is how hard they work to support BTS out of genuine love.
I'll be damned if I'm no allowed to do that here bc of a bunch of kpoppie casual stans claiming to be Army.
Twitter Armys can make their own community here and if some Tumblr Armys want to be friends I welcome you. Just know I DO stream, I DO vote and I'm vocal about encouraging others to do so!

REMINDER TO THE TWITTER REGUGEES THAT TUMBLR IS AN INTERACTIVE SITE.
See how your dashboard is covered in posts? Yeah, that's because people reblogged them. Reblog posts. Reblog artwork and gifsets and text posts. If you like a post, reblog it.
"Oh but I'm nervous about social interaction" reblogging isn't social interaction. It's not. It's adding things to a virtual scrapbook by yeeting the additions into a swirling vortex. No interaction necessary. Someone makes a post you like, you reblog it, that's it. Job done. Zero interaction, but a post has made it one step further in finding its way to people that might enjoy it.
Reblog stuff. For fucks sake.

Ok some more bullshit for twitter refugees who need to learn the Tumblr Etiquettetm
Change your blog icon. Do not leave it as Tumblr default bc you will be seen as bots. Also helps if you change your URL to something fandom related/unhinged. urls like sarah-x-lynn will cause people to think you are a bot and block you
There's no algorithm. Whatever pops up on your dash is yours to deal with. Unfollow/block people as you please.
Again, there's no algorithm. The content on this site is user-circulated. Abuse the reblog button.
Abuse the tags. If there's something you wanna say on a post but don't want to intrude, use the tags.
Follower numbers don't matter here
There's no character limit on posts or in blog descriptions. You can post the bee movie script 50 times if you want. Go ham
This isn't twitter or tik tok or whatever. There's no need to censor yourself. Outright admit you want to kill a us senator, no one will judge you.
If you're gonna trigger tag something, don't censor it. Don't use like #r/pe tw use #rape tw
Lastly, don't be a dick to people. Abuse the block button for all it's worth.

So I have risen from the pits of hell 😂. Sorry to my OG followers, but if you don’t want to see BTS on your timelines, this is a good time to unfollow, because my main is going to be all 5x Grammy nominated group of korean men. Unless twt somehow survives and I can stay there, in which case...false alarm 😄.
I’d like some army moots, but only if you’re not weirdly opposed to streaming and voting. I’m not gonna bully you about it, but I might be posting links and rebloging info, because like it or not, BTS didn’t get to the top without army putting in the work too. (Also, by streaming, I literally mean listening to their music and watching their MVs, because the discourse about what streaming means is super weird in some internet spaces)
I haven’t used this site for so long, I’m rusty, hehe. I’m 31, so if you’re underage, please excercise caution.

Finally wrote something again :).
Mitch Grassi already has enough on his back. Dating his best friend turned out not to be the best idea and their relationship is still very much on the mend. His two closest friends are soon graduating and leaving him behind, while he still has no idea what he wants to do with his life. This is not the best time for government experiments with time travel that no one asked for.
For everyone who ever wished the high school trio could see themselves now. I promise there’s Scömìche in it :).

It’s like the fandom is stuck in like episode 3 of season 1 I think it was, but at the beginning of the episode, right after Dean said he liked kids and Sam basically mocked him and asked him where have he ever met a kid. But then the fandom stopped watching I guess, because it’s like they never saw that Dean was able to connect to the kid as the first person in a long time (including the kids mother!) and make that kid immediately take to him and trust him. Same with Ben. Same with the shape-shifter baby.
He’s a natural with kids. Even if a certain part of the fandom managed to forget everything about Sam and Dean’s childhood that doesn’t suit their narrative, Dean’s parental instict is very clearly featured in the show in a way that should be impossible to overlook. And yet...
Dean: 13 years of being good with kids, helping kids through their issues, raising Ben, having at least one biological child, and more of going to Sam’s plays and taking care of him.
Fandom: …..
Sam: loses a newborn 30 year old anti Christ a week after it was born. Uses his powers for Sam’s agenda.
Fandom: 😍😍💓💓💓😍😍😍 team 💕💕💝 free 💞💝💞💞💞💞 dads 😍😍😙😙💞💞💕💕💝💗💗💓💓💦💦

See though, this is why I always found math confusing. Because I always start asking questions. Do I count Beyoncé as one of the people in 20,000 sq feet? If so, is there no kind of stage that would separate her form the rest? And if I don’t count her as one, shouldn’t the number of people hearing her be lower, because of the space that is separating her from them? Is there a bar at that place? Is it counted in the 20,000 sq or not? Are the bartenders supposed to be counted in? What if all the single ladies came in as a group and are standing in a huddle by the stage?
This right here is why I almost failed Math. Because it never seemed to me like it was taking real life into consideration. Everytime we got a problem like this I inevitably got something wrong, because no matter how I tried to filter the real world out, something always remained that screwed up with the numbers.
