oswin are you ever into any musicals. I say this because I love subjecting Narrators to musicals, it's really fun and seems right up a guy's alley but I don't know if YOU have found this joy of subjecting your guy to musicals. I feel like you must have but I can't remember at ALL. (I rewatched Into The Woods (broadway), I've always been into Cats, I rewatched the Legally Blonde Musical recently - I'm desperate to make this obvious theatre nerd a musical nerd too. do you see the vision)

i know ive listened to Be More Chill with him (the og soundtrack at least), we watched In the heights (the movie) together, and watched the Spongebob Musical, we watched my old hs' production of Mean Girls and i know he liked it, and we listened through Jekyll and hyde together too, but i got a whole list of musicals i need to show him when i have the time like wicked, rent, and legally blonde definitely akjshd >:3333

speaking of epic tho im pretty sure hes tired of hearing me sing epic songs but if he was willing to dress as hermes for me then hey i think he likes it, he definitely loves the troy, ocean, and ithica sagas. (also any athena song) (hes making me not listen to would you fall in love with me again for a bit because he keeps sobbing which is so real askjdh)(im tormenting him with epic :3)

Does Oswin live alone?

Not particularly. I've been spending more time in real life than in the Parable, so he's not alone. Though for the most part it's just us four in his house.

Oh, Lynne adjusted faster than I did. I suppose it's because being a 2D line can make you more agile and flexible than a mess of hitboxes inside a room. In addition, she only gained her human form once she left the game, so compared to me and when I got used to piloting my digital model vs my real life one, she had less of a learning curve to adjust to.

She can switch to her line form when back in the game, though it seems she only does so when she's upset or overwhelmed. As far as I can tell however, she prefers being in her human form more.

As for what she looks like... If I remember correctly, @employee052 might have a few photos of her is he has it.

Getting out of the Parable was a group effort between Oswin and I. He had access to the games entire code, while I just had the ability to change certain assets, titles, and make new models. It gave me the ability to make the Stanley Parable 2, however not the ability to change things like the broken achievement in the expo hall.

Luckily, at this point, Oswin had gotten used to breaking the game with mods, so we started the slow process of breaking the restrictions of the game and letting me out. It was a lot of work coding and editing files in the game.

At first it was getting me off the game and into his computer, and then we somehow found a way to get from there to the real world. It allows Stanley, Lynne, and I to hop out of digital spaces and the real world at our leisure, only Stanley chooses to stay in the real world, while me and Lynne alternate whenever we want.

As for my relationship with Stanley, well....

We're on good terms, and we co-parent Lynne as best as we can. But we're not romantically invested in the other. We're just good friends. (Even if my thoughts are conflicted on the matter sometimes)

Right. I knew I forgot to explain something in the last response...

Regardless, Lynne is our adventure line. We're not sure how it worked exactly -there's code involved that we don't know how it fully works- but when we were able to bring Stanley out of the game, so too did the adventure line came with him. Only It manifested in real life in a more human child form, who chose the name Lynne.

Stanley and I took it upon ourselves to co-parent it, given we were from the game and needed to help her get used to existing in the real world and in a humanoid body. Oswin helps as well, but he's more of an uncle as far as I'm aware.

In regards to the real world, I'm simply learning how to live in it much like everyone else. For the most part I'm either writing, watching videos on YouTube, eating food that I definitely cooked and didn't order using Oswin's money, and occasionally going outside with Oswin or Stanley whenever they ask for my help. We tend to stay in Oswin's house, so it has become an extension of our home, with the Parable more like an additional room we have that we pop into from time to time.

So , how's it going being a narrator? Is it borinngg? Do you have anything else besides narrating that you do? What even are you ??

Ah, well then I shall be staring back at you like this, then.

Also, its going well, all things considered. It's far from boring, especially now that Stanley and I can take breaks and are on much better terms than when we were trapped in the parable.

As for things other than narrating, I do the usual of cooking, reading books, occasionally playing games or doing puzzles, watching television or YouTube, and most of the time annoying Oswin, Stanley, and Lynne whenever I can.

As for what I am.... I don't know to be perfectly honest?

I'm a digital being that can somehow interact with the real world -that can exist here. At this point I've given up on trying to name what Stanley, Lynne and I are, so I've elected to just calling us as we are. People.

I could also say that I'm a BAFTA winner -which, I know that was to my voice actor, but hush, we share a voice, we can share that award can we not? 😏

After reading your recent posts, I randomly got the idea to make a doodle of you in my newest Sketchbook. I wanted to ask for permission to share it on my blog first though.

Goodness, Im terribly sorry for my delayed response Ember!

That being said however, to answer your question: I suppose my favourite shows would be ones with long branching narratives, or game shows. Although I haven't seen as many shows as most might think in my two years of being in the real world, I have watched a handful.

So far, me and Oswin are planning to watch over Doctor Who and Breaking Bad. We've watched JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but still need to get past the fourth season. And I do love putting on episodes of Whose Line is it Anyway? and Jeopardy.

As for movies, I've only seen a few.

Kingsman The Secret Service is one of my top favourites for the gore alone. I watched Sonic 1 and 2 with Oswin and Lynne and really liked it, we're thinking of watching the 3rd some time later. And there was this one movie from an art gallery Oswin and I attended a few months ago that was quite weird but very interesting!

My list of watched movies and shows is quite small, as I mainly watch videos on YouTube, but hopefully this new year will give me more time to watch new medias!

As for book genre's however, I'd have to say Mystery. I've been meaning to read some of the Sherlock Holmes Classics, and I'm still in the process of reading over Patricia Cornwell's Unnatural Exposure. Although, I found Oswin's copy of House Of Leaves so perhaps I'll read that in the new year.

Anyways how has your summer been? Its actually been rather cold over here in this disaster. Lin has been helping me clean it up but its been a little more than impossible to uh… lift buildings.

It turns out Lin is one of those weird shadow creatures and that as long as Sarah isn't here she isn't in pain. And she speaks Spanish! I dont ever recall a cat speaking Spanish but she's still adorable anyways. She keeps saying “vete a la mierda” which I dont know what means but im sure its something very sweet.

I have so many things to tell you now that one you're back, and two im back.

In regards to my summer however, It was hectic as you could expect given how late this response is.

It's still hectic today as well. With Oswin finally letting me stay home as he goes to class, I've been resorting to texting him from home now. But we're doing alright. And I have Halloween to look forward to! (I still need to decide my costume, but i'll figure that out later.)
