Sorry (Jellal Fernandes x Reader)
"Hmm... strawberry cake..."
Suppressing a small laugh you turned your head to Erza, your best friend of childhood days that never seemed to miss the opportunity of shoving cake into her mouth.
You had seen the amounts of baked goods the redhead could swallow within minutes, not even speaking of hours, but when it came to strawberry cakes, it turned ridiculous.
"I do not know how you aren't fat already, Erza", you mused and put your chin onto your palm, still watching that food orgy of hers "But I guess that's okay, Ichiya likes your body just the way you are."
Even though she was wearing armor, you could see the shivers running down her spine and her face growing blue as she choked on that cake.
"Stop that", she didn't like being teased with a matter as serious as Ichiya, not even by you "You know exactly he gives me the chills every time."
You shrugged and turned back to the field inside of the Domus Flau arena in Krokus, watching the pair of wizards fight it out. Although you were no part of a guild, you were busy cheering on for Fairy Tail whenever they entered the field.
Yeah, sure, there were shouts of boos and the mocking of the other guilds but with Erza alone, they couldn't be any worse than the best.
You just knew it.
Even when the both of you were just kids and surely no force to reckon with, she wasn't just a surprisingly powerful mage but also kind and caring for those in her family. She was everything that made you change minds back then and you couldn't have been more grateful. It was only then that you realized just what exactly it was that you were doing and you felt so dirty the moment it became clear as day.
You snapped out of your stupor before it became obvious you were lightyears away and focused on the matches ahead of you.
Snatching the list from Gray's hands (who was too absorbed into fighting off Juvia - as always) to take a glimpse at the letters, you let out a sigh of defeat.
"Can I have a piece too?"
Just as you felt your eyes sliding shut, Natsu bumped into you, nearly making you fall over the handrails but at least, you were awake now.
"Is it finally over?" you leaned back and let out a yawn "Thank God!"
After all, you weren't that much into stuff like tournaments, Fairy Tail was basically the only reason for you to come into this cave of pent-up masses.
Nobody answered you, either tired as well or already on their way through the door and out of the arena, back to their sweet sweet home. You got up quickly and grabbed Erza (still next to you but with a very empty plate - you could only guess Mira had sacrificed her even more cakes) to get out.
It was just then that you noticed how far the sun has gone westwards making you suppress another yawn that made its way up. You got to go to bed soon enough anyway so no need to rush.
The way back out was surprisingly swift and without running into any hostile guilds (lucky you). So you were out before Natsu broke something or bumped into somebody.
"Let's go grab something to eat, (Y/N)? You coming?", you heard Gray's voice from behind you, making you turn around and give him a bright smile - only to decline.
"I'd love to, really, but there is that thing I need to get done yet. Don't worry, I'll be back soon, just start without me.", your voice was sweet enough that you nearly even betrayed yourself, if it hadn't been for that tiny tiny voice in your head.
Why don't you just tell them?
But you brushed it off without a second thought, no need to worry your friends about your self-made worries and troubles.
"Okay...", Erza didn't seem as convinced as you would've liked "You sure?"
A simple nod was enough to soothe her and so, you made your way back into town, taking a stroll through the streets devoid of people or friends. You were alone with your thoughts and the memories that came with them.
You sighed making eye contact with the horizon to take in the way the sun was drowning beneath these parts of bustling streets and places.
You hadn't missed the silence that came with the night for you had heard it over and over again in those sleepless nights.
It shamed you to this day that you hadn't noticed the way he was using you, cocooning you in soft and sweet words to make your finger bleed from hard work and your skin shining from the sweat and tears spilled for him. The worst part of it all was that damned silent voice within you, asking again and again if what you were doing was right.
How could you build weapons of mass destruction meant for thousands with a straight face?
How dared you think sacrificing people to a black wizard could be a way to achieve paradise?
How did you fail to notice that you would never be able to sleep after you were so willing to make these sacrifices more for him than for Zeref after all?
Who knew.
Did I know?
You wondered for years if maybe, just maybe, you had known what you were doing. You probably weren't even able to throw the cloak of ignorance over your shoulders to save yourself from the cold feeling of guilt.
Shame, shame on you.
You hated the way he made you feel so far away from everything like he had built a place away from the wars and the screams of the world, simply made for the two of you.
And again, you failed to notice how it was only the mist caught in between your fingers.
"(Y/N)?"
At first, you thought it was only the back of your mind, playing tricks on you by reviving past days and voices. But after some seconds, you had noticed the silhouette nearby and wondered if you had heard his voice.
Maybe you were going crazy.
At first, you noticed the dark blue hair, sticking out to spite the cloak it was put under, then that tattoo you would notice everywhere.
Jellal Fernandes.
Surprisingly enough, your panicking mind took it upon itself to react, stumping you with the bright - borderline hysterical - laugh that came out of your mouth.
You just couldn't help it. The way he appeared after decades with nothing to say but your name just about the moment you had wallowed in self-hate and guilt was just ridiculous.
Jellal stood quiet, not even his face gave away whatever irritated look he might have had, giving your laugh an untimely end. And that was just about what you needed to come back to your right set of mind.
"What are you doing here?" You didn't bother the biting hate in your voice or the way his shoulders slumped from your tone.
"I came because Erza told me you would be here.", he started when he had straightened again "She said it wouldn't be a good idea but I came because I wanted to speak to you."
You didn't trust the way this man looked so sad. You couldn't.
Not even enough to sit next to him when he scuffled over to the next bench and gestured for you to take a seat.
Not ever, not in a thousand years would you take that seat.
So you stood like a tree, unmoving and unwavering in your place, staring at him and ready to defend yourself by any means.
Would he try anything funny?
From the way, you knew him back then? Definitely.
Surprisingly though, he didn't try to press you into sitting down, instead starting to talk about whatever it was that lead him back to you.
"It took me a very long time to properly realize what had happened in the Tower of Heaven" he started "I did things in there that I never remembered to have said or done, horrible things. And when I remembered, it was like watching through the glass as someone else moved my body."
For the blink of an eye, his hand hovered over his head before he opted to pull down his hood and revealed the dark blue hair. Jellal sighed before he put his face in his hands for a few moments as if he was trying to get ahold of his last pieces of sanity.
"And when I understood what I had done, I felt so, so guilty. I tried to sacrifice hundreds - no, thousands of people, I manipulated you, Milliana, and the others to work for my cause. The worst of it all was the way I led you to believe in the lies I told you over and over again. I remember that look of adoration in your eyes and I misused it for these terrifying things."
The way he spoke of these sins the two of you committed so easily made you relive the shame of it over and over again. It was like your mind couldn't stop.
"I need to atone for these sins, for the things I did to you, and I wanted to start by telling you how sorry I am for the way I treated you and led you into believing these tales.
I do not ask for you to forgive me or to see beyond that, I came here to apologize because that is what you deserve."
For the first time since he started talking, he looked into your eyes as if waiting for your response and your mind came to an abrupt halt.
What exactly was it what you were feeling?
Hate?
Sadness?
Anger?
...No.
For the first time in forever, you could sympathize with him - that person who you had thought of as a monster for much longer than you wanted to admit. He had been taken advantage of and used to do whatever malicious things asked of him. He did not have a choice.
What did he feel like when he discovered how many people had been suffering under him? Was it sorrow? Betrayal? Shock? Or even anger?
And only when you were ready to answer was it that you too were looking into these dark eyes.
"I remember every damn word you spoke whenever you looked at me so fondly and I remember how you laughed at me for even believing in your farce. " you didn't try to cover up the bitterness sneaking in when you recalled your heart break into pieces just like that.
"And now that you are sitting in front of me, asking for forgiveness, I don't even feel the hate anymore." it had stilled to numbness in your heart, always there, but only with that hollow feeling, never leaving.
"I cannot forget", you further explained feeling unshed tears prick in your eyes "My memories have become a part of me and they will never leave again. A Sorry won't fix everything."
By then, two or three tears escaped over your face before you could wipe them away, not escaping Jellals gaze.
He turned to look at the ground for a few seconds, then he moved off the bench and cast a sad smile at you, only to walk away from you as if that was his clue to disappear back into the night.
Only when you understood where he going, you set into motion, reaching out for his hand.
"But..."
The blue-haired male revolved when he felt your hand in his, soft as in those memories he still held close. His eyes became wide at the side of your tearing and red eyes, paired with that tiny, hopeful smile directed at him.
"But... I won't give up on you."
His mouth carved up to mirror your smile as he squeezed your hand just like sunlight kissing your skin.

Somewhere over the rainbow (Erwin Smith x Reader) Part 2
Attention! This one contains spoilers for season 3
Warnings: The rather graphic display of violence and such. Please do not read if you are uncomfortable with these.
Part 1
You could not help the way your heart skipped a beat when you were staring into the eyes of what seemed to be the rest of the Survey Corps.
"(Y/N)? You are alive? But... but I thought everyone was dead!", the Cadet, Floch, exclaimed and it took no expert to figure out he had been crying and screaming the whole day "But you too survived it... Tell them what happened out there! Tell them how the Beast Titan killed everyone else! Tell them, (Y/N)!"
Floch screamed at you like a madman and shuffled forward to grab you with those bloodied hands of his.
The blood on his hands... Where did it come from?
It was as if your eyes moved unconsciously, swiftly taking notice of another figure lying on the rooftop, lifeless and limb. And the worst of all was that it took you not even a moment to recognize this face because it is the face you had looked for so excruciatingly long out there and had hoped to never find among all these corpses.
Erwin Smith, with an abdomen so torn you weren't even sure if he was still alive, but you hoped.
You ignored Floch nearly completely, as you stumbled on your unsteady feet and fell to your knees beside your dying commander.
"Erwin", you whispered and you wanted to reach out for him, to feel for his wounds and break down in the silent knowledge of what would happen once he stopped breathing, but something was stopping you "Give him the serum."
You turned your head to Levi and wasted no effort in being formal "Give him the serum, Levi. Now."
It was only a matter of seconds until all hell broke loose.
Never before had you felt the need to want something so much like this syringe, but fate was unrelenting and cruel. It was almost as though you did not have the right for an opinion on that topic or at least one that made a difference and realizing that made your blood run cold.
Hanji and you had carried Erwin's body away from the roof where Armin would be transformed into another Titan Shifter and be given a second chance at life. For crying out loud, you would give your life for all your comrades left standing, but you were envious, and even worse you felt your heart die more every second Erwins life seemed to run out. How could the love for someone you never had even be that deep?
Strangely enough, when Armin’s Titan opened its mouth to devour Bertoldt, a memory from long ago crossed your mind like it was yesterday.
The casern was as silent as you had only rarely seen before, but who were you to blame your comrades? Today's expedition had only lasted a couple of hours and yet you felt as if you had lost more than on every other expedition before. It was the Female Titans fault that so many of you were dead. You hated her.
Medics had cleaned up the rests of blood on your face while checking for any injuries, but you were fine, unlike many many others.
Hanji sat next to you, but despite having hoped for it, her cheerful and weird personality stayed hidden under heavy layers of bitterness, drowning every happiness you may have felt.
You sighed and shoved the bowl of an undefined soup away from you, there was no way in hell you could eat after the brutal things you had seen today. Just like every time the Survey Corps came back, but you never seemed to get over it, even if it was always the same.
Leaving the table seemed like the only option bearable enough to not break out in a complete mess in front of everyone, but you would find no sleep this night, that much you knew. And so you went the same way, you remember having gone just weeks ago after the last expedition. Soon enough, you reached a door and you held your hand up to knock, but something held you back. What if you were going to burden him? He was probably the person who needed support more.
As if he had sensed you standing out there, Erwin opened the door to stare into your eyes, dull and sad. Needing no words, he took your hands to pull you inside so softly that you didn't even notice his hands holding yours.
"I'm sorry, I just...", you choked, but the tears restricted you from speaking "I don't know..."
He embraced you with such care and warmth that you felt the need to sink your hands into his clothes so that he would never let go, fearing he would disappear into the void where everyone else seemed to go.
You were shaking and sobbing like the wild mess you were but he wouldn't say anything until the end. Instead, he would touch your back comfortingly, humming a soft tune you wouldn't forget for the rest of your life.
With as much tenderness as your shaking hands could manage, you pulled his body close to you, leaning his upper body against yours while listening to his breathing fading away. You opened your mouth and exhaled, before pulling yourself together to mumble some words into his ear in hopes that he would hear it.
Your voice sounded terrible, scratchy and sore from the crying and screaming, so much in fact, that it hurt so much, but you kept going still.
"Somewhere... over the rainbow...", you breathed, blinking the upcoming tears from your eyes "way up high. And the dreams that you dreamed of, once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly..."
Even when you couldn't feel his breathing against your body anymore, you kept going, daring not to stop. Even, when Hanji told you that he was long gone, you were with him, until he was completely faded away.

Somewhere over the rainbow (Erwin Smith x Reader) Part 1
Attention: This one contains spoilers for season 3.
Warning: The rather graphic display of violence and such. Please do not read if you are uncomfortable with these things!
Part 2
The mare carrying you whinnied nervously as you followed close behind Erwin, her steps going too fast, then too slow, eyes rolling in their sockets. It was your first expedition with this horse ever, considering the one you had before had died a horrible death during the last expedition, nearly leaving you alone in the wide plains of Titan territory, but you could understand its nervousness, even though you had only come to know Comet in the last few hours.
Still, was her behavior coming from the other horses? Was she behaving like this because of you? Hanji once told you how horses were reacting to human emotions immensely but was it that obvious how miserable you were feeling?
Gripping the reins tighter, you steadied your breath in a weak attempt to slow down your heart rate, but you could still feel the blood rushing through your body in an extraordinary tempo.
Although, who would have faulted you?
Being in the Survey Corps, it was basically a fact that you could become titan fodder at any time they went outside the walls and you were well aware of that, after all, that is what you signed up for. You knew the risks of becoming a soldier for humanity and up until now, you offered your heart if there was just the smallest chance of survival or advantage for mankind. But this one would prove to become the most suicidal action humanity has ever taken and yet you knew it had to be done.
The day on which humanity's fate would decide, the day on which the Survey Corps would retake Wall Maria from the tyranny of the Titans.
It was something that seemed so unreachable for the last five years and you still remembered the whispers before you would leave for expeditions.
'We can never win against them!'
'Only inside these walls, we are safe. What we have lost to the titans, we can never take back.'
'Why are they still trying so hard? There is no way the Survey Corps could ever achieve anything else than eating up our tax money.'
And today was the day you were going to prove them all wrong! You could show them better than to believe in the wrongdoings of the past, the hope lied in the future. So then why... why...
Why were you feeling so undeniably sick to your stomach?
"(Y/N)", you heard a deep voice in front of you that made you forget all those thoughts in an instant and look up in the said direction, surprised to find these wide blue eyes staring at you so intensely that you couldn't help but stare back.
"Commander Erwin?", you asked with an eerie feeling that he knew your thoughts even before you could think them. You had known other commanders, and there had been many, but Erwin was by far the most charismatic of them all. The people inside the walls learned to love him. The Survey Corps loved him. You loved him.
"I don't want you to think of all the things we have to lose", he stated, his eyes still locked on yours, unmoving "Think of what we can gain, of what this victory will bring to all of us."
The commander reached out to you with his left hand, letting the reins of his horse fall meaninglessly to touch your hand in a way that made your heart flutter.
"Yes, Sir", you mumbled, slightly loosening the grip on your reins, because just now, you realized the painful feeling starting to grow in your palms "You're probably right. I should not worry."
It was hell, hell on earth.
You remembered riding to your deaths, following Erwin's shouting voice to offer your hearts and you were ready to die at that moment. You could not even see his face when the Beast Titan threw the boulders at you, smashing the bodies and faces of all the people you had known for so long, smashing the bodies of your family beyond recognition.
And you remembered hitting your head, while your whole world turned when your horse was hit, ripping off its front legs, leaving it falling forward with a terrified and agonizing shriek. You did not even know how you made contact with the ground when gravity seemed to get a grip on your body, but when you awoke from your delirious state, the horse's cadaver was spread in front of you, torn by several stones shredding its intestines.
You were alive, but around you, no one else was.
The view you had from here made your stomach turn and you fell to your knees again, throwing up everything that could have been left of your breakfast. Wiping your mouth with your sleeve you sat up, head turned to look at the bright blue sky. It showed no sign of the massacre that had happened here not even hours ago.
A thought struck you like a lightning and you came to your knees, weakly struggling to keep your balance, while you tried to look over as much of the field as you could see with that slightly spinning head of yours. Ignoring the corpses of the people you had been eating breakfast with this morning the best way you could, you made your way down the open field.
The titans were no longer there, only smoking piles of what might've been them, but you caught no track of the Beast Titan or anyone of the Survey Corps left standing. you were completely, utterly alone.
"Hello?", you shouted across the open field, voice faintly echoing from the walls in distance "Is anyone still alive? Say something!"
"Everyone!", your voice broke when you felt a knot forming in your throat, your tears preventing you from shouting, screaming, letting anyone hear you.
Breathing in and out to compose yourself the best way you knew, you then wandered around for several minutes, trying to find anyone alive or what you both hoped and feared about: finding Erwin. But the longer you looked for him, the less confident you grew. He wasn't here, maybe he had been eaten. It was almost safe to assume that he was dead since the commander had been at the front, facing the Beast Titan as one of the first.
After you slowly but surely accepted that there was not a single person left alive, you started walking, maybe you could find someone closer to the walls, there was a distant memory of hearing the plan and some people inside of Shiganshina. You could not imagine how the whole Survey Corps could have died in the period of not even a single day when you had fought for so long.
It felt like an eternity had passed when you made your way up the wall with your 3DMG, out of some miracle it didn't break during your fall. At first, you had planned on walking through the gate only to find it sealed shut with something that vaguely resembled Eren's Hardening - or that's what you supposed at least.
Your mind was running a mile a minute when you had enough time to think of what would happen when you were on the other side? Who would you find? Would you even find anybody?
Oh God, what were you to do if you were the last one out here to survive? Dozens of miles stretched between you and the nearest civilization in Wall Rose, you would never make it alone.
Shaking off those thoughts, you wasted no time in crossing the Wall to see what would wait for you to discover on the other side.
Shiganshina resembled a wasteland you had yet seen before, burnt houses or their remains were thrown carelessly to the ground, undoubtedly by the Colossal Titan in its rampage, but even he remained unseen.
And despite Shiganshina being abandoned for no less than five years, there were people on some nearby roof, still too far away for you to recognize anyone, but these green cloaks were enough for you to throw your trust issues overboard and make your way down.

Hello. Can I ask for a scenario for Zancrow Belvran and the fem!Reader (member of the Fairy Tail guild)? Zancrow decides to change and join the Fairy Tail in order to be closer to the fem!Reader. Please, if you don't mind.
It took me a bit longer than I expected but here it is!
I kind of started with writing how they met and I hope that it is okay for you, so please enjoy!
Benign (Zancrow x Reader)
“Let's just hope that I don’t have to take care of some serious wounds”, you stated with a small smile and got back to cutting the vegetables while your companion was already busy with the pot.
“Knowing Natsu that might become problematic”, she answered and both of you grinned simultaneously.
The weather was calm, and the hot sun was burning on the Tenrou Island, Fairy Tail’s holy ground, only blocked by the white tent of the camp. You were not here for the first time but still, the island managed to catch your breath every time you came here – and no, not as a competitor.
It might be true that your magic in particular was not made for offense but the ability to heal wounds – those of others and yourself – made you a valued member of the guild (and often needed, considering Fairy Tail’s reputation)
And on occasions like this, you were more than happy to follow Makarov’s request and make sure that nobody died because of some magicians overdoing it in the heat of battle. And you loved helping your comrades in every way you could.
Suddenly, smoke made its way towards the sky, sneaking up near the horizon and Erza was the first one to notice it.
Concentrating on the thin line of black, she squinted her eyes, tracking each and every movement carefully.
“That’s not good”, she started, her voice full of concern for the approaching danger “I don’t think it’s coming from the others.”
Faster than you could process it, Erza dropped everything and changed the apron back to her armor. If you weren’t already alarmed by Erza’s behavior, you certainly were when you heard the faraway explosions.
Steps came closer and Mirajane came into view, the same certain look in her eyes when she made eye contact with Erza and nodded. Without another word, Mira stormed off into the woods, leaving you to hope she would be okay.
“You stay here, (Y/N)”, Erza didn’t bother asking for your opinion but you trusted her judgment enough to not question it in times like this “Everyone knows the camp is here and if there are injuries, I need you to stay here and take care of everybody, okay?”
You nodded silently and she only smiled back before she took off to who-knows-where and left you alone. It didn’t take long before you started to grow fidgety, trying to calm your nervous hands while playing with an (h/c) strand of your hair but it didn’t quite work. Every rustle coming from the trees, every whisper of the wind, and even the animals of the wood seemed like a potential threat to your heightened senses.
It was then, that flares shot out into the sky, burning bright and hot enough to smolder the leaves of some trees. Confused, you watched the red of the flames mix with a kind of black you had never seen before.
What the hell is that?
Making a few steps forward, you followed the flames until you found yourself running fast. Erza told you to stay in place and you knew that, but something drew you closer to whatever was happening there, and it gave you a bad feeling in your stomach. So much, that you could feel that someone needed help direly.
You ran until you could no longer see the flames in the sky and you realized how far away you had come from the camp where you were supposed to be, you weren’t sure if you would find the way back.
And then, for a good few seconds, you heard nothing but your breathing and your heart beating fast in your chest and you wondered if your intuition had failed you or if you had taken the wrong direction when your hearing picked up coughing so quiet that it would have been easy to miss. However, you didn’t miss it.
It did not take you long to reach a small clearing in the wood and immediately, you could feel rays of sunshine warm your face, making you forget the reason you came here for a moment but then you heard the cough again.
At first, only a mop of thick blond hair came into view and the longer you stared at the mass of hair, the more you realized that you didn’t know whoever was lying there, so you moved cautiously.
“Who is there?”, a hoarse voice croaked, and you stopped in your movements because you couldn’t hide any longer. The whole clearing seemed to get wrapped in a thick layer of silence when you finally managed to speak up.
“Please stay calm”, you responded, your voice quivering way too much for your taste “I’m only here to help if you let me.”
The person didn’t reply so you took it as a sign that you could get closer, even if it was slowly, but you couldn’t risk getting hurt yourself for healing it would cost you more strength and magic power than you could muster.
The closer you came, the more you could see of the mysterious person. It was a young man, around your age if you had to guess, with long blond spiky hair that you could even see from afar but more significant were the burns on his whole body like you had seen way too often (it took you, like, a second to know that those were coming from Natsu) and assuming from how intense they were, he got a pretty bad beating.
Your gaze trailed first down and then up to his upper body to take in the extent of these injuries when your eyes got stuck on the big black tattoo on his right shoulder. Your body froze for a second when deep red eyes med your (e/c) ones and you remembered what Levy and you were talking about just days ago.
Grimoire Heart, one of the most dangerous dark guilds the continent has ever known, had been the one that attacked Tenrou Island, the place that was like a second home to every member of Fairy Tail. You knew instinctively that someone wearing this guild sign meant not only trouble but a threat to the guild and your life.
And even if you knew that, you couldn’t help but feel his pain like it was your own.
“What are you staring at?”, he barked and tried to sit up, but lied back down while hissing very quickly “You like the view of your enemy on the ground, fairy?”
You didn’t answer his provoking but instead sat down beside him and held up your arms in a peaceful manner to show your good intentions. Soft green light started emitting from your hands as soon as you let them hoover over his body.
“Hey, are you mute? Don’t you dare touch me with those freaky hands of yours!”, the blond was nearly shouting and tried to crawl away, but it was no use with those wounds of his. Still, he started to exasperate you.
“Please”, you took a breath before you continued “just let me help you. You are hurt and with healing magic, I can make it better, but I need you to trust me for just a few seconds. Is that possible?”
For whatever reason, the young man seemed to stop struggling and stared at you to the point where you were growing uncomfortable.
“Why would you even do that?”, he suddenly asked, his voice dripping with spite and a tad of bitterness but his eyes seemed devoid of any emotion, just deep red staring straight into your soul “I am the enemy and you would be better off with just letting me rot to death.”
“I just want to help you so what does it matter if you are my enemy?”, you asked with furrowed brows “I am human and so are you and that is what is most important.”
He went quiet so you started working on his injuries, giving your all so he wouldn’t feel any pain, but you still could hear his labored breathing. It took you only some minutes, but he still wasn’t completely healed, now it would just need some time for him to be as good as new.
You leaned back to breathe in when he sat up slowly as not to open the wounds again. Sitting across from you, his eyes were fixated on your face entirely, taking in every feature he could discover, but he didn’t make any move at all.
“Zancrow”, he simply said, and it took you more time than it should to figure out that it seemed to be his name “What’s your name?”
“…huh?”, you mumbled and blinked a few times before you processed his question “Oh! I’m (Y/N), nice to meet you.”
“You’re weird”, he replied shamelessly and crossed his arms in front of his chest before giving you a strange look before he sighed “But I guess you’re nice.”
“Here we are”, you said and stopped walking forward to look at the old and creaky building in the middle of nowhere “Everything will be alright, Zancrow.”
You kind of said it to yourself, but also to calm the person to your left. The blonde seemed okay, but you knew that he was fiddling with it on the inside, mostly because of all the things that had happened. Remembering the day that both he and you managed to flee the Tenrou Island before hell had gone loose. And how he had knocked you unconscious so that you wouldn’t protest and dragged you off the island but you still regretted leaving your comrades there.
Automatically, your eyes went to his right shoulder where there had been his guild symbol, but just as you expected, it wasn’t there anymore, and that fact made you smile internally.
“This place smells strange”, he concluded after a short time and his resting scowl lifted for the blink of an eye and he moved closer to you so that his body was mere inches from yours “But it smells like you, so I’ll like it.”
You didn’t answer but a small blush crept onto your cheeks and you didn’t even try to conceal it, he knew it anyway.
“You don’t have to be scared, Fairy Tail is a guild where everyone can belong”, you mumbled under your breath and squeezed his hand lightly to reassure him “They will like you.”
“I am not scared”, he barked childishly but you only shook your head and laughed, so he continued more seriously “But I told you that I don’t want to be the way I was before anymore. Not just so that you would be proud of me but I want to return the favor you did me back then.”
You nodded and with a deep breath, you took a step forward, into the future.

Hello. I am writing to you for the first time, so I hope that everything will be fine. Can I ask for a scenario for Brain (anime Fairy Tail) and the Reader? I would like to read a script in which brain and the Reader decide to start living together. Please.
Thanks for the Request!
I am not very sure if I understood it the right way and I if i didn’t I am very sorry. Also I didn’t write a whole story if that’s okay.
But anyway, enjoy!
Living together with Brain
- Brain is a very serious person, so it would take him some time to make sure it was the right moment and the right person to ask
- after all, for him it meant not only waking up to your face everyday and being as close to you as he never was before, it could, ultimately, lead to a shared future with you (maybe even involving kids?) and he wanted it all to work
- it took him a long time to actually ask, not only because it would be a big step towards more intimacy but what made the decision so hard was him being the leader of a top dark guild, wanted for several crimes against the law
- and having you being even closer than you already were would make you the ideal target for literally anything, harm could come to you even easier
- plus, no matter how often he told himself that all of those points were meaningless because he would be there to protect you, there was no way he could possibly protect you from himself if he should turn into Zero
- but every day he spent with you convinced him more and more that you were strong, even strong enough to manage these kind of problems like a big girl
- so he asked, and you agreed immediately, even after he more than once told you that it would mean that you were most certainly at risk for the rest of your life (still you didn’t budge)
- soon the both of you were sure that it would be the best to live in a small house far away from the cities, maybe even in a wood
- on second thought though, the house couldn't be that small, because it was nearly as though the rest of the Oracion Seis was constantly living there, too, not that you minded of course
- it would be very nice place, waking up to the chirping birds in the morning, feeling small rays of sunshine making their way through the leaves and sometimes even spotting animals watching you through the window curiously
- not that even in this paradise, Brain would ever be able to abandon his work duties
- on some days, you wake up alone, wondering where he might be, when you walk into the kitchen to find breakfast already prepared and a note saying that he had to leave early to do some business, but that he would be back as soon as possible
- also, I think living with him together would mean a perfectly well organized home with decor fitting the colour of the rooms neatly (he probably made some research for days so it would be perfect) plus I think it would all be very clean
- on the other hand, you have to take into account that he will probably have an office where he will work on all of his plans and researches, which could also mean that he could spent hours in it

Down the stairs (Oikawa Tooru x Reader)
If anyone had asked you how you had planned this day, you certainly would have answered Not like this! But right now, that did not matter.
You held your phone in your left hand and pressed it against your ear so that you could make sure you did not misinterpret what words had been spoken right now.
“Hey…”, you heard his voice “I just wanted to call because… I don’t know…”
Oikawa’s words sounded unclear, slurred like he’s had a hundred drinks but still it felt like he exactly knew why he was calling. Or at least, that is what you hoped.
You opened the door of your apartment and stepped out onto the cold floor. Your phone was still in your hand, even if the call had ended seconds ago but anyway, you took it with you. God knows why.
You lived on the third floor, which meant that three pairs of staircases were parting you from the person waiting at the entrance. Shame on you for not opening it from the apartment, but that Oikawa had called you tonight made you want to scream from the top of your lungs. It crazed you how he still had that effect on you, even if it had been months.
“Why are you calling?”, you pressured further, furrowing your eyebrows because normal people didn’t call you at 2 am, and definitely not after breaking up with you four months prior.
“Could you open the door? It’s freezing down here…”, he babbled, a hint of shivering in his voice, perhaps for emphasis.
Part of you had wanted to say 'no' so badly. What could he want from you? Why now of all times? You gave back all of his stuff, everything had been set weeks ago, so why? No matter how hard you tried to form words like ‘No I can’t’ or ‘Just leave’ or anything else, no sounds would leave your throat.
Nothing except for a tiny “Sure”, but it was enough for Tooru to hear.
When you finally opened the door, he was still waiting patiently. It was raining hard, Oikawa’s coat and chocolate-colored hair were soaking wet, small waterdrops dripping from his locks and onto the ground.
His light brown eyes, normally so bright and cheerful were dark. The closer you looked, the more you felt as if something was lingering in them, but it could have also been the alcohol clouding them.
“Hey”, he whispered as he stepped over the threshold and into the dry, where you stood in silence, waiting for Tooru to say something, anything more but he seemed to be just as frozen.
“Hey”, you barely managed to reply, but it was nothing more than a mumble drowning in the noise of the rain splattering on the streets.
To you, it felt like Tooru had broken through some sort of paralysis when he raised his hand to ruffle through his hair while letting out a frustrated sigh, blinking a raindrop out of his eye and then looking at you with an unreadable expression.
“Oh God…”, he pressed out and broke the eye contact, his gaze lowering to the floor where it rested for a few seconds, “You’re even more beautiful than I remember.”
Frankly, you tried your best to suppress a blush even though you could feel your heart skipping and your blood pounding against your ears, but you shoved the uprising thoughts about him into the back of your head.
“You have been drinking.”, you stated, not even bothering to ask when you already knew the answer.
“Might be”, he answered, shooting you a smile, but you knew better than to buy it so easily. Oikawa Tooru might be good enough at acting like that to fool an awful lot of people, but the more you got to know him, the better you were able to tell when he was faking.
Suddenly, within a single moment, he let the ever-resting façade fall like a curtain being removed and walked over to the stairs, sitting down on the steps and leaning his head against the creaking handrail like a puppet whose strings had been cut.
“Yeah, I have”, he admitted exhaustedly and looked back at you “I don’t even know why I’m here… it just felt right.”
You smiled timidly and made the few steps over to him, taking a seat on his right and looking him right in the eyes. Every second that Tooru had been here, it felt more and more like no time had passed at all and if you hadn’t known better, you would have thought he was still yours, not hers.
Now that the two of you were sitting so close, you could smell the smoke lingering on his coat. Seemed like it was still the way it was four months ago. And still, you felt like an idiot for thinking that both of you could ever go back to how it was back then, for it had a reason that he broke up with you.
Damn.
You knew that a relationship with him was a lost cause, but the heart wants what it wants. Before you could even process what was happening, your body had already started to move in Tooru’s direction, your face suddenly so extremely close to his that normally you would have started to feel the embarrassment kicking in, but this time, it was different.
Your lips on his chapped ones made your thoughts flutter away until there was pure nothingness left in your mind. At least that was until his lips began to move against yours in sync. He was warm (which was surprising since he came from outside) and so achingly familiar that it made you feel like this was the only thing that you would ever need.
This is wrong.
Although you had closed the door, you could feel the goosebumps on your arm grow fast and not just from coldness.
The moment passed way too soon but you pulled away and were met instantly with chocolate eyes boring into you, nearly uncomfortable. The faint taste of alcohol rested on your tongue.
“Huh”, noted Oikawa with a dumbfounded expression plastered on his face while you found yourself fiddling with your fingers in anticipation of his reaction.
Time passed and he was still silent, so to satisfy your growing insecurity, you spoke up.
“Sorry”, you laughed nervously, “I guess it was out of reflex or something. Just forget about it.”
It took a moment, but Oikawa’s expression merged into a cautious smile until the tension had worn off. The male got up from his seat on the stairs and turned around to look at you. Just for seconds, it was like he seemed troubled, sad even, but it was gone before you could think about it.
“Alright”, he declared, “I think it’s time to get going. Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret.” You nodded in agreement, trying to stop the growing numbness in your heart from making you do something you would regret later on.
He opened the door and stepped outside while taking in a deep breath, remaining in his place for moments that could have been hours before he turned is head in your direction and waved goodbye.
You imitated his gesture slowly, but he did not look back again to see it or the bitter smile which you had cast.
Anyhow, you felt like crying and laughing at the same time, possibly the aftermath of being put into a situation like this and making the worst decision you could have made.
It did not matter anymore, whatever the two of you had was gone with no possibility of bringing it back. He came here for no real reason, no real intention.
And so, you stayed down the stairs, unsure of what you were waiting for.

Just a little longer (Iwaizumi Hajime x Reader)
It must have been the sunlight coming through the window that woke you up. The warmth was tickling your nose as you opened your (e/c) eyes, all the while murmuring inaudible things to yourself, and looked around.
There was a certain familiarity that hit you when your gaze drifted back to the sheets where you were still curled up in a comfortable pile. Maybe it was the color of the blanket or the way the room smelled like home so that you couldn’t help but sigh at how relaxed you felt.
It was only then that you started to notice how heavy your body felt, but not it a bad way though.
You moved your right hand which was still underneath the sheets to your face and pushed away a strand of (h/c) hair and behind your ear just so that you could see what was making you feel like this.
At first, you only saw the tanned hand draped around your waist, holding you in place. You kind of already knew who the hand belonged to, but still, you made the effort to turn around and were met with the same tanned skin and an even better-known face.
Your smile only widened when you, still a little bit sleepy, took in Iwaizumi’s relaxed features. His eyes, normally so dark green, were closed behind their eyelids, and the way his mouth was parted just slightly made your heart skip a beat. You were met with soft warm breaths, sometimes interrupted by his mumbling of incomprehensible words so that you could only suspect what he must’ve been dreaming about.
The way the dark-haired boy scrunched his nose in his sleep made you sigh quietly, and you pushed a strand out of his face as soft as possible. You did not want to wake him up yet.
Even though he seemed to stir, his arm around your waist tightened and his eyebrows furrowed. Then, he let out a deep breath and stretched his arms and legs before easing back to his former position.
“Good morning”, you whispered and snuggled against him. It was the wave of unwanted coldness that made you come closer, the warmth radiating incessantly. If he heard you or not, you did not quite know, but you were just too lazy to repeat anything.
“…Mornin’…”, he grumbled in a deep morning voice moments later, but his eyes stayed shut. For a few moments, you could only feel how his chest rose and fell slowly. He shifted a bit to put his chin on the crown of your head while pulling you even closer if that was possible.
You giggled lightly when he hummed in content and dug his nose deep in your bedhead to breathe in your scent. If only you could, you would have stayed there with him for eternity but fate didn’t seem to be that grateful.
There was a loud banging on the door, which made not only you but also him flinch from the sudden noise which came at such an unfortunate moment that it made you sigh internally from disappointment.
“Yoho, lovebirds!”, a light voice came from behind the door “Time to get up. Rise and Shine!”
It was only then, that Hajime opened his eyes only to cast a stern glare at the door, a low growl coming from his throat. You nearly expected him to get up and out of the door to glare, but he just let his head fall back onto the sheets while he mumbled something along the lines of ‘Get lost, Shittykawa’.
You did try to wiggle yourself out of his grip to follow Oikawa’s call and get up, but before you could get anywhere, his grip around you strengthened, but so tender, that it did not hurt at all.
“Hajime…?”, you asked and stared up at him, but he only pecked your lips to silence you and smiled.
“Just a little longer.”

Happy Birthday (Sting Eucliffe x Reader)
The day had been normal, in fact so awfully normal that you couldn’t quite understand how that was possible. How the hell could just this one day be so boring and unexciting as you never thought it possibly could be when being part of a guild as Sabertooth?
In fact, it was the only day that you never thought to ever be normal.
Because it was your freaking birthday, the day that was undoubtedly thought to excite you the most.
You thought of it the second you opened your eyes in the morning and you weren’t able to pry that thought off your mind. Now, rest assured, normally you weren’t that excited for something that would happen either way and every year.
But still, this year was so very special for you because it was the first time in forever that you actually got to celebrate it with people whose company you enjoyed more than anything. Sure, there had been your parents and some friends you had during your childhood, but that had been it.
But now, that you finally – after such a long time of working hard on getting better and practicing with everything you got – finally, were a member of the infamous Sabertooth guild, you felt at peace. With Sting as a master, the guild had made nothing but progress and the people you would meet every morning in the guildhall were the people that you loved the most.
As fast as you could without being in a hurry, you got ready, ate something and went straight out the door and closed it behind you to get onto your way to the guild.
It was not a long way to go, but today, it felt even shorter than it was. Near your apartment went a river to downtown which you followed in a modest, but not slow tempo with a skip in your step one or two times. Brushing a blown-over strand of your (h/c) hair out of your face and behind your ear, you let your thoughts drift off.
Did they remember your birthday? You remembered the books you read where the protagonist was always surprised by the party the threw for him. Would they do the same for you?
A grin appeared your face when you thought about the day of Yukino’s birthday. The moment the white-haired girl had entered the door to the guildhall, everyone had shouted a ‘Happy Birthday!’ at her, swinging confetti through the air and waving happily. Yukino had been so surprised and happy that she was even crying out of happiness.
You pushed yourself out of these daydreams when you neared the entrance that was wide open so that everyone could walk straight in. Taking in a short breath, you stopped for a short amount of time before getting in as well to start your day at Sabertooth.
One minute, two minutes, five minutes went by and nothing happened.
Not a single person in this room made a move, uttered not even a word to show that they remembered your birthday. Confused, you stood in the middle of the hall, somewhere between hoping that just one of your guildmates would remember and feeling like all of the let you down and not even knew it.
Was it a bit childish of you to expect them to? Maybe.
Did it hurt like hell to know that even the people which you spent the whole day with forgot? Definitely.
Urging yourself to do more than just stand there like an idiot, you did only a few steps to the nearest table, taking a seat next to Sting, who barely nodded, welcoming you. Lector was busy sitting with Frosch and discussing the newest encounter with Charle while the other exceed was busy scratching over a paper with his colorful crayons, working on his masterpiece.
“Sooo… how’s it going?” You asked, taking a look at all of them “Something new?”
Stings eyebrows furrowed in an annoyed and bored manner, staring up at the ceiling as if there was something that would get him out of this.
“Nah”, he answered and moved his arms forward and over the table to stretch “Not a single thing.”
Rogue nodded in agreement while Yukino stayed silent, her dark eyes locked onto the surface of the wooden table with a gaze you could not quite place.
“Nothing”, you repeated shallowly and went silent. This day had started so well that you would have never thought it would turn out like this.
Like a day so normal that nothing exciting ever happened.
Except for the ache that came from the tiny crack in your heart. Especially these people, the ones you spent most of your time with, laughing, joking and sometimes even crying together. It was like yesterday that you went in here for the first time in your life, stunned by the high ceiling of the building and the many members that swarmed around, taking jobs or a day out. You still know how unsure you were if they would even take you, an unexperienced wizard with only average talent and charisma that clearly needed some polishing.
And in this time, a certain blond took you by the hand, making you feel at home from the first day since. Sting had smiled at you, took that administration sheet out of your hand and pulled you back to the main hall where he had introduced you to all the members the guild had to offer. The White Dragon Slayer had not needed more than a day to get you to like him immediately.
And now the moment had come where you had to admit that none of those feelings of adoration or simple happiness about being with him would possibly be returned.
‘Don’t make such a fuss over something as simple and childish as a birthday, (Y/N).’ you told herself, ignoring the lump in your throat as far as possible. But even still, you felt betrayed. Ever since you were a young child your parents had told you that would someone care about you, they would remember everything that made you you.
All of them had asked for your birthday, more than once, and they seemed so mindful and caring. You had to admit that you had believed in at least some of them to remember the date. Yes, Sting had his moments where he’d forget the things, he wanted to do just seconds before, but in the most serious of times, he had never forgotten something about you.
Sighing, you stood up from the table, ignoring Rogue’s side glance at you and excusing yourself, saying you would take a job. No one offered to go with you, not even polite Yukino but you did not dare to ask one of them if they wanted out of fear the would turn you down.
Pressing your mouth shut to make sure no noise would leave those treacherous lips of yours, you went over to the Request Board, taking a random sheet of paper into your hands and walking straight to the entrance from which you had come just minutes ago.
“(Y/N)!”, a familiar voice shouted from behind you and made you turn around just to look into the sky-blue eyes aimed at you. His smile stretched from cheek to cheek as he waved at you and you waved back, feeling a little bit relieved.
“Promise you won’t do anything reckless, will you?”, he shouted as you left the guildhall to make your way to the carriages and out of town.
Watching you disappear out of sight, Sting turned around to the group that was still seated at the table and he sighed and slumped back down onto the chair.
“She looked sad that nobody mentioned something”, Yukino threw in and made a guilty face, looking sideways.
“I know”, the blond answered and crossed his arms in front of his shoulders “But she will be even more excited when she sees the surprise when she comes back! I’m sure about that!”
Confidently he grinned at his friends as all of them got to work.
Oh god, it fucking hurt. That was now how it was supposed to go, definitely not.
Bringing your upper body against a nearby tree and leaning your head on the wet bark of the tree, sighing. Everything in your sight was still spinning and you felt like you were going to puke any second now.
When you had taken that job from the Request Board you had not looked onto the type of that request until you were at the carriages to know where you were going. It was a Quest like the ones you had already taken before but always with the help of someone else, most of the time Sting.
You had looked down onto the piece of paper, then shortly back to where the guild was down the road but you could not bring yourself to turn around and ask someone for help just because you weren’t able to take on a few thieves on your own.
From then on, you had been so motivated and self-confident in your powers. You had trained months, years and slowly you were gaining enough experience to do it on your own, like a wizard of Sabertooth.
But hell, had you underestimated those folks. Not only were there more than you had expected when the major of a nearby town had told you about their problem but also had them been equipped with weapons sharp enough to cut you even with only a small graze. And you had nobody to cover your back.
So, basically, it was clear that you would not be able to get out of this unscathed but the pounding in your leg was unbearable still. And frankly, you considered yourself quite lucky that you weren’t hurt that fatally but only with some broken bones and somewhere on the downside of a slope.
At first, it had been nothing more than the usual beating up of those thieves but the longer the fight continued the more tired you got until it was nothing more than a question of time that you were getting hurt.
You did not even notice one of the other thieves sneaking up from behind you until he was pushing you down from the road and into the woods, rolling down with no way to stop until you crashed legs first against the stone that came nearly out of nowhere.
On the bright side of it, those thieves hadn’t bothered to look for you to take you down for real this time. Sadly though, your right leg seemed to have taken it worse because just turning your leg a bit felt like fire running through your veins.
When you finally sat up to look at your surroundings your eyes caught your bag only a few feet away so you snatched it quickly to look after the communication lacrima which you remembered you put in there.
Feeling the item you pulled it out only to reveal the cracks in the surface with no possibility that you could get it to work again to call someone – anyone.
Sighing, you closed your eyes and you thought crossed your mind. Sting would be so, so angry with you when he found out that you hadn’t asked anyone for help and failed the job. He would probably yell at you for being so stupid and right now you could only agree.
Shuffling a bit over the ground you tried to get both of your legs to at least do something that reminded of walking but as soon as it came to your right leg it failed miserably, leaving you on the ground.
“Great, just great”, you mumbled to yourself as you dusted some dirt from your clothes and stared at the sky, somewhat angry. If it went on like that, there was no other way but for you to wait for some passers-by or the guys from Sabertooth getting suspicious about your lack of return.
Even your surroundings seemed to be abandoned and so far away from the street that you doubted people would find you soon and there weren’t many options except getting help and waiting for help but the latter was perhaps the best idea in your kind of state.
And so, you started shouting occasionally, hoping that by some miracle, someone would find you.
You had been sitting at that stone for hours, shouting until your lungs burned, and your throat hurt but with the dwindling daylight, it became so cold that you just wanted to get away from here, as fast as possible. And so, you went on with shouting.
When the sun touched the horizon and filled the woods with a rainbow of red, orange, and purple you became quiet for a moment just to watch the spectacle until a familiar voice drew your attention.
“(Y/N)!”, someone shouted, voice echoing through the woods but nonetheless so clear that you did not doubt who it possibly could be. “Where are you?”
Taking in a breath and shouted from the top of your lungs you tried everything to not cry from the happiness of being found before you would spend the whole night in the woods, alone.
“I’m here!”, you answered, and steps became louder until the blond hair made your heart skip a beat. Sting came running down the slope, only stopping his running when he stood just in front of you, his chest heaving up and down.
The next thing you knew, the White Dragon Slayer was looking at you with those deep blue eyes but you did not found the expected anger in them. There was nothing but worry and relief that these orbs mirrored.
“I’ve been looking for you for hours!”, he started once he caught his breath, crossing the both of his arms in front of his chest and mustering you with such a serious gaze that you shuddered. His eyes traveled to your leg, clearly seeing how injured it was. He furrowed his brows.
“You promised me you weren’t going to be reckless!” he said, his voice coming out sharper than he had planned, but he couldn’t care less “You promised!”
“Sorry”, you whispered and gulped hard. Fumbling with your fingers you looked at the ground and away from the blond and wishing nothing more than that the ground would swallow you altogether.
Sting sighed and knelt beside you, suddenly feeling a calmness overcoming him and he smiled.
“I’m just happy that you’re okay” his look came back to your leg “Kind off, at least.”
Without even a further word, he scooped you up effortlessly. You squeaked from the sudden lift into the air and your hands clanged to his vest in fear of him letting you fall (not that he would ever do that, but you couldn’t be sure).
“And now”, he stated, “We’re going back to Sabertooth and we will get you a proper birthday party.”
“Wha…?”
“You didn’t really think we would forget, did you?”
Maybe today hadn’t been such a normal day after all but in all the good ways.
