Impact Wrestling Review 3/9/2017

So the show starts with Eddie Edward and Davey Richards fighting GB in the stands. They're broken up by security. The first match is the DCC facing a tag team we've never seen, part of there name is Scum lol, and they are tag champs somewhere BC they brought their belts with them and holy fuck they beat DCC who seemed to be bickering amongst themselves. Jeremy Borash came out and is now apart of the announce team and words went back n forth between Jeremy n Josh. Next the was a 4 way match that Braxton Sutter won and Allie was with him. Laurel came out in the wedding dress again crying. (YAWN) Sienna took on the debuting Rachel Ellering (daughter of infamous manager Paul Ellering. But of course Sienna won but it was an OK match. Interesting to note they are still showing Hardy promos. Bruce Prichard comes to the ring. He says the TNA today isn't what it is now. He said TNA is dead and it's only Impact Wrestling. He rambles on for a bit and then calls Lashley the best they have and Lashley comes out. He kisses Lashley's ass and says no one in the locker room then Alberto El Patron debuts. He tells Lashley he hasn't beaten him then EC3 interrupts. He says Alberto needs to earn a championship match n challenges Lashley for the title n is shot down. Bruce Prichard makes the match Lashley vs El Patron as the main event. EC3 got nothing. Eddie Edwards is interviewed and Angelina Love showed up and slapped him. Next Cody Rhodes keeps looking for Moose and JB let's him know Moose is in Japan. He says he's not leaving until Moose comes out. Then he leaves through the crowd. Have no clue what that segment was about. It was stupid AF. JB announces there's a legend in back who's coming out soon. Dutch Mantel aka Zeb Colter comes out in a motorized wheelchair. It's his first time on Impact Wrestling. He says last time he was there Impact was great and mentions a lot of talent that are all now apart of the WWE. He said the guys told him there was a lack of leadership, respect and lack of vision of where the company is headed. Then says the fans left as well. He said they need to give the company back to the fans. They break in to another Hardy video where they fight the kangaroo. This makes no since BC Matt n Jeff left Impact before this episode was taped it's very confusing. They teleport and Decay delete them and take the tag titles. JB says 7/7/2017 will be live for their 15th Slammiversay. Josh Matthews is having a problem that JB made that announcement in the ring. Alberto El Patron comes out as does Lashley for their Impact World Title match and Josh Matthews is still bickering and whining that JB is not on the announcement team. The match goes back n forth. There are two referees BC the first one went down and so did the 2nd. Using the title Alberto hit Lashley and actually won the Impact World Championship!!!!! After the match Lashley was livid and 3 agents also came out to talk to the referees. Show ends with El Patron up on the ramp holding the belt celebrating. So Rockstar spud was the ring announcer all night, least he's not being a servant to Rex lol. I feel Josh Matthews kept going on n on n on about JB on the announce team. OK for 2 hours that's almost ALL he talked about. Also who is this Scum tag team n in their debut they beat the DCC WTF? The o e dude with a mohawk n beard is either attempting to mimic Sheamus or he's just very strange. The whole storyline within some of the knockout division will now definitely change since Maria is no gone from the company as is Jade. My opinion all in all is that there was a lot more talking than wrestling and no one really mentioned who exactly is in charge I mean we seen agents and a creative Dutch Mantel but who is actually in charge? Bruce Prichard said it wasn't him so who? I doubt we will see the actual person in charge

Raw/SmackDown Review 3/6 3/7/2027

So Raw was better than Fastlane. Goldberg took his first major bump since he came back. Jericho put his US Title on the line vs KO at WM33. The Cruiserweight division is starting to look up with the addition of Austin Aries last night attacking Neville. Jack Gallagher has also made a huge splash in the division as well. I like that the division that seemed dismal is now getting a breath of fresh air including the addition of Akira Tazawa and feuding with The Brian Kendrick. They are finally getting their own individual feuds and I hope the division gains more momentum soon. Now Braun Strowman calling out Reigns and Taker coming out instead n Strowman walking away then Reigns comes out claiming it's his yard now to Taker and thus begins their feud at WM33 and FINALLY Kevin Dunn doesn't bleed out the Roman sucks chants. On the women's side, I'm so tired of Charlotte being in the title picture. It's been a year and she's still fighting for that spotlight. Staying on the Women's Division, on SD almost all the women get airtime weekly and on PPV. They have a stronger division with more depth. Orton beating Styles was so predictable I mean Orton burned the Wyatt compound plus he did win the Royal Rumble, for the 2nd time I might add. The Ambrose vs Corbin feud is hilarious. Ambrose got Tonya Hardinged last night ROFL!!!! So who had the better show this week? Tough call BC I personally was more entertained by SD.

WWE Women's Division

So last week on Talking Smack Daniel Bryan said the SD Women's Division is better than Raws. How can anyone argue that? All of the Raw Women (who actually wrestle) were all involved in a tag team match with Dana Brooke on the outside. While on SD all the women are wrestling and in a rivalry and Maryese is even going to wrestle again! During the brand split everyone said SD got the short end of the stick so to speak, but look now. SD has a wayyyy better Women's Division and SD has a better show period in my opinion!

Smackdown 2/14/2017 Valentine's Day

So Smackdown started with Bray Wyatt coming out to celebrate his victory in his own way lol. John Cena interrupted and reminded them they have a title match then AJ Styles came out arguing he has a rematch for the title too. Daniel Bryan came out and made the title match a triple threat for the main event. American Alfa of coarse beat The Acsention . Mickie James avenged her loss over Becky Lynch by pretending she was injured lol. Baron Corbin attacked Dean Ambrose as he was going to face James Ellsworth of all people lol. Those who didn't watch The Elimination Chamber Match, Ambrose pinned Corbin and he was the first one eliminated and then beat the hell outta Ambrose who was pinned and eliminated next by none other than the Miz. So there's definitely a feud starting with Ambrose and Corbin. Nikki was talking to Daniel in back when again was attacked by Natalya. They were quickly separated and Bryan in the meantime was yelling for them to stop. When things chilled out a bit he made a falls count anywhere match between Natalya and Nikki but I don't remember exactly when he said it would be. Main Event time and surprisingly Luke Harper attacked Wyatt before the match! It was a good match but seemed kinda short. The best part about it is that Wyatt pinned Cena for the 2nd night in a row! But this time he remained Champion! After the match Orton came out and said Wyatt was the "Master" and he was the "Follower", that he will not fight him at WrestleMania 33!!! Curious how this will play out. Side Note: Am glad to see Luke Harper finally getting a chance to get some spotlight all his own. He's awesome in the ring and can talk. I hope he starts moving up the ladder soon!

WWE Raw 2/13/2016

For me there were 2 surprises on Raw. The first: Kevin Owens turned on Chris Jericho! Definitely wasn't expecting that, especially this early! Figured it'd happen after Fastlane. But damn Owens really beat the hell out of Jericho. He was in an ambulance "going to a local medical facility" lol. Some things are just so Kayfabe lol. Surprise #2: Bayley actually beat Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship!!! WTF? That one REALLY shocked me BC as I like Bayley she's no Charlotte or Sasha. Her wrestling ability is so-so but I think she only one BC she's a fan favorite and Vince likes her over Sasha who he says is too small and injury prone. While I personally don't agree with that, I do feel Nia Jax should've been the one facing Charlotte. They make Nia look terrible having squash matches and feuding with Sasha BC of how big she is. But Bayley to Belly as a finishing move is dull and why would it cause a 1-2-3? It's not deviating enough! But the rest of Raw just didn't compare to those 2 moments except Braun Strowman interfering in Roman Reigns' match.

The Elimination Chamber 2017 pt 2

The Elimination Chamber Match: AJ Styles and John Cena started the match. They were getting going as Dean Ambrose entered the match and exploded on Cena and Styles even climbed atop the pod and hit Cena with a flying elbow on the hard floor of the chamber. Bray Wyatt entered at #4 and during this time Styles and Cena had climbed the chamber on the inside and Styles knocked Cena off the chamber onto the hard chamber floor. The next guy in was Baron Corbin and he just dominated the entire 5 minutes before the last entrant Miz came in, well Miz stayed in his pod a bit. Corbin hit the end of days on everyone. While Corbin was waiting on Miz to come out of the pod, Ambrose came up behind Corbin, rolled him up and Corbin was the first eliminated. He was so upset that he beat Ambrose up so bad that when he finally left the chamber, Miz finally ran out of the pod and covered Ambrose, and eliminated him. John Cena hit Miz with the AA and eliminated Miz. Bray Wyatt surprisingly hit Cena with Sister Abigail to eliminate him! New champ to be crowned. Bray and AJ were the final 2. They both really brought their A games and Bray Wyatt is now the new WWE World Champion!!!! Some highlights from the match: Cena did a double German suplex on AJ and Bray. Ambrose was thrown through one of the pods by Corbin and the pod broke.

The Elimination Chamber 2017 pt 1

RKO Outta No Where!!! Can we say Awesome!!! Randy Orton vs Like Harper surprised me as good as it was. A big man like Harper doing a suicide dive was just wow! But in the end Orton got the victory heading into WrestleMania in 49 days. Nikki Bella vs Natalya ended in a count out and later in the show as Nikki was being interviewed by Renee Natalya attacked Nikki and the refs split them up. Becky Lynch vs Mickie James was a great opener. A lot of action and good back n forth between the two. Mickie worked on Becky's arm so she couldn't use the disarmer but Becky won with a small package roll up. The Tag Team Termoil was OK. Totally predicable that American Alfa was going to win. Ziggler vs Apollo Crews and Kalisto yawn. Ziggler beat up Kalisto in the entrance way and it was one on one most of the match. Kalisto was the only good thing that happened in that match but didn't come out until the end. Ziggler was pinned by Crews then after the match Ziggler beat up Kalisto and Crews and put Apollo's ankle between a chair and stomped on it twice and the crowd cheered Ziggler. Naomi vs Alexa Bliss was awesome and after numerous big moves and 2 count pinfalls Naomi moonsalted her way to the Women's Championship!!!

SD Live 9/20/2016

SD starts off the show with Becky and Alexa signing the contract for their SD Womens Champion match and the announcer Mauro kept saying in 2 weeks, well more like 3 bc it's on October 9th lol. WTF? Right on King Ross (WhatCulture.com) Is Jack Swagger supposed to be a big problem for SD or just Baron Corbin? Maybe Crews can get a break from being beaten every week. Randy Orton vs Erick Rowan.... I love Bray Wyatt but if he was a "God" He wouldn't lose almost every match he has! Hell he would never lose! Carmella hating Nikki- So already over it! My husband who couldn't stand the Usos now liked them bc they're heel. WTF? The Biggest moment of the night? Dean Ambrose pinning John Cena for the 1-2-3! Then gets a one on one title shot against AJ Styles next week! SmackDown Live again has a better show than Raw. Blue is prettier than red anyways lol.

Raw 9/19/2016

So Roman Reigns beat Kevin Owens in the cage match last night and is only going for the U.S. Title. OUCH!!! Ain’t that a bitch? He got screwed in the Universal Title match and then last week in the match if he won he could get another shot at the title. I’m not a fan of his but damn just because he tested positive for adderall a few months ago he gets screwed over really bad! Stephanie McMahon said Seth Rollins is the reason the WWE World Title is on SmackDown and could be why HHH turned on him and proceeded to say Kevin Owens is better than him which raises the question if she was in on HHH screwing Rollins out of the Universal Title. So was it 1998 during the Chris Jericho segment? This time it wasn’t a list of 1004 holds but that list was more interesting than the list he had last night. Then 4 tag teams come out then Sami Zayn. A ten man tag match followed…. Still unsure why that happened except to give everyone air time lol.
