He was usually pretty patient, but this man definitely had more character than he was used to. “At least you’re honest,” he replied, starting to circle the other -- almost in a predatory manner. “But who said these pretty eyes wanted to cuddle with you?”

Rhys was getting close to finishing up for the day when the familiar voice rang in his ears. Nic was certainly a strange one. He usually at least tried to pretend he cared for the examiners before getting into the real reason he came. It was kind of nice, though Rhys was always unsure about how to react in response. So, he gave the other a little awkward smile before going to retrieve the report he was sure the other was looking for. “Uh, fine. How about you?”

Nic was finishing up some paperwork for the day and had realized they never got the report from the medical examiner on the victim of the current case they were working. It was always said to work a murder, but Nic was confident they’d get the person who’d committed the crime. They got up, glad for the stretch as they’d been at their desk for quite some time now, and headed for the stairs, taking them down to autopsy. Nic entered the room, looking for whom ever would be working today. They smiled as they saw Rhys there, and waved a little. “Hey there,” Nic smiled. “How are you doing today?”
