Au revior, for now...

I’m so, so grateful for everything this opportunity has been. I had no idea what to expect. Our industry—and our network, particularly—is full of dynamic, creative, thoughtful, complex, hard-working people. They offer unique perspectives, and are transparent with opinions and advice—something I feel lucky to have been able to access. As I depart, I get to take all of that with me, and so much more. 

“Creative” is a discipline, and the use of that word can become problematic and usher in sensitivities. We have to remember that it’s a job for all of us, all of us, to implement creativity in everything we do. 

Thank you all for the support I’ve received along this journey. I can’t begin to express how meaningful it was to get that kind of encouragement.

And to those who made all of this possible... words can’t describe what you’ve given me. I love you, and I miss you already. 

The Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity is a celebration and a signifier of such an exciting future. I can’t wait to digest everything I’ve been able to see and do here. I am changed. The work I do is changed.I have a lot of work to do to get back here... which is kind of the best part.

A Young Lion's Perspective: Admit You Don't Know

My girl Erin and me—slowing down at the McCann party after an immersive week of creativity and connecting. Erin did so much work to make sure I got everything I could it of this experience. She's amazing. I already miss our late-night kebabs.

Lookie, lookie, at who I found... Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman for McCann Worldgroup, after a rousing speech to the creative troops from all the McCann networks. I can't describe how powerful it was to hang out with the best creatives leaders in the world. McCann is killing it. Such groundbreaking creative from people who work their asses off, led by the truly incredible Rob Reilly. Really, really grateful that I got to sneak in and hang out.
