I think the 2nd worst thing that ever happened to me is this one time I was at a con and Silver the Hedgehog's VA was there and he called my fit trash and then immediately corrected himself because he felt bad, which made it so mo much worse, because he absolutely said that off of reaction alone and then tried to correct himself because he didn't wanna be mean.

Bass-Ment Cuts review

Intro~ weirdly one of the better songs here despite being the literal fucking intro 7/10

Set It Off~ pretty good, recognizing a couple lines that got reused for other songs/albums later on. Several lyrics aged horribly due to Violent J being an edgy teenager in the early 90s (this will be a reoccurring issue for several other songs) 7/10 despite it's few issues

Lock Down~ fuckass beat, lyrics are alright, 5/10

Bitches~ decent beat loops ruined by the lyrics being edgy high-schooler humor with a weird-ish flow 2/10

Insain Like~ amazing beat, flow is pretty good, you can definitely see the style that ICP would have later have it's little underdeveloped chunks in here. Loses 1 point for shitty edgy teenage humor going from a 9 to an 8/10

Play That Hoe~ wack beat, Violent J's flow is really weird here honestly, not bad, just feels off 4/10

Ghetto Style~ amazing flow, beat is great, honestly wish it was longer, another chunks of recognizable lyrics that would be reused in other albums 8/10

The I.C.P.~ last song here and it's alright, great introduction for the people who'd later really be Insane Clown Posse, as a song it's nothing to write home about, the flows good, the beats weird, and thelyrics are just a "Hey it's us this is who we are" and at the end they say that there'd be more basement tapes (there weren't lol) 4/10

Bass-Ment Cuts as an album is honestly a 4/10. There's a lot of "i see the potential" and "oh hey that bar was in Carnival of Carnage later" but on it's own it's not great. As an avid ICP fan, this album isn't much more than a neat look back into when they were new
