You may just need to rediscover what it is that makes you happy. Trying out italics this time. It went better than expected! Moral support from the live viewers certainly helped.

Gothic practice #2. Finally got all the resources and time together to put in some practice. Focus: getting vertical strokes straight, figuring out the reverse of the provided ductus. Solution was to do the strokes in the correct order but reverse the direction of all the strokes. Pen: Sailor High-Ace Neo, 2.0 mm nib. "Thicc" line: Pilot Parallel Pen, 3.8 mm nib. It took the Christmas vacation 2018 to inspire me to do something visual art-related. I inked up my pens and tested them on some paper I had lying around. What follows is the result.
