More Knuckles and Maddie blah blah blah okay I love them??? No crime in there.

Also more Knuckles cultural things cuz I think it’s fun to play with. I didn’t want to add cultural stuff from real life, not as fun that way, so I made up the thing about gold rings. Gold rings are already precious things to the movie verse for travel, so I like to think other cultures incorporate gold rings in other ways too.

Btw I'm reading some of the LMK "Monkie Kid Almighty Game Challenge" comic/activity book they released in China by putting through google translate. The designs def take more from the concept art stage of the show, and it has some cute character stuff sprinkled in, even if I can't read Mandarin so good.

If this monkey has a bedroom; he either sleeps in that abandoned dojo of his, his old room on FFM, or still sleeps in the peach tree he and Wukong lazed under as cubs with that monkey king poster hidden in the branches. XD

I need tang and wukong complicated friendship so badly you can make so much angst with them it's insane

I think their dynamic is so interesting and sad because how exactly should you act around your mentor/father figure reincarnation

In the first season you can tell that wukong doesn't want to be around mk friends especially tang I know it was played as a joke but he was obviously uncomfortable/stressed out so he just left

I think he does like tang but he reminds him so much of tang sanzang that it hurts more than the others maybe it makes him happy and sad mostly a bittersweet feeling

And this is just mostly headcannon but maybe wukong use nicknames for them because he doesn't want to accidentally call them by his old companions names
