I've been with mine for almost a year now and I wouldn't trade him for the world. We've had our ups and downs, times where I don't know if I still love him or at least- if I love him that way but I run back to him every single time. Every time I feel like it's over, like- the spark is gone, he just pulls me right back in.

No other character has done that. My love for him knows absolutely no bounds and seems to come back stronger whenever there's a bump in the road. Somehow...even if he's fictional, I feel closer with him than I do anyone else. Not even my best friend. He'd be someone I feel like I can tell anything, someone that I can confide in. And he wouldn't judge me....which is part of why I love him so much.

He's far from perfect, that is true but...I love him. Flaws and All. I'm proud to call him my f/o.

Basically my idea of a self ship buddy is someone who will go into your f/os tag who it seems like everyone ships with or has a lot of popular ships and having them tag you in posts that are non ship related so you can enjoy content with your f/o without seeing popular ships with them or people shipping with them and you do the same for them

Interest Scouting for a small Valentines Day/White Day Event

It’s silly to be thinking of a new event before this one is even over but i thought i’d look for interest ahead of time. I don’t think this new one would be quite as overwhelming and would be a little more relaxed and fun!

It’s a letter writing event but it’s spaced out.

On valentines day and a few days after you’ll post a letter and on White day, a month later, you’ll receive a response from your F/O.

The catch is that this will not be a “write a letter and hope maybe i’ll get one back” type deal. I would be assigning people to write letters to one another. There will not be a person “not getting one”.

I would make a sign up sheet for everyone and ask for their name, F/Os, fandoms, and fandoms they would rather not interact/write letters for!!

Then based on that, I will give people a person to write a letter for in response to their valentines day letter. If that sounds interesting, please let me know!

If you play sports, imagine your F/O going to one of your games/performances (dancing can be a sport, too!). They go absolutely wild whenever you score a point or clap like a madman after your performance.

Most of all, through the crowd, you can hear them yelling over everybody:

“THAT’S THEM! THAT’S MY BABY! GET ‘EM, BABE!”

You glance up into the crowd to the yelling and have to surpress a giggly smile, desperate to keep your composure.

it sucks feeling like so much of the fandom hates me and hates what i do because of my selfship and because i don’t like a popular ship, due to insecurity reasons

Hey mods, I'm having a self-ship problem at the moment. My F/O is implied to be gay in his source (he has a crush on another guy in canon) but whether he's purely gay is left ambiguous. I personally headcanon him as bi, but most of the fandom is really insistent and forceful with their idea that he can only ever love another guy. Being a girl who has self-shipped with him for nearly 2 years, it's kind of upsetting and annoying, and it makes me feel invalid.

I see how this could be a problem for you, but if his sexual orientation has been left ambiguous, it was for the reason as such to have left it up to the fans for interpretation. Fandoms will ship what they want because it’s their ship and they want to indulge in it, just as you want to indulge in your self ship. Others well see him as gay as others would see him as pan or bi. Fandoms are gonna do what they want because fandom is for everyone, not just for certain people. I’ve seen other self shippers give their f/o’s a sexual orientation when there is none shown, but they do it anyways because it is their ship. 

But if you feel afraid to tag your content for the fandom to see, just don’t tag it in the fandom tags and only tag to where your friends and supports would see them, such as the self ship community tags and what not. No one will judge you if you don’t tag in the fandom tags.
