So, what’s a profile?

It’s based on the location and energetic pull of the planets at the moment you were born and your own energy entered the universe. Sounds a little woo-woo, and tbh I don’t really get it either. But I do know that there’s a ton of anecdotal evidence for the correlations between planets and your life so that’s enough for me.

First, I’ll give you a list of each planet and the sign/house for that planet. Then, I look for things that stand out to me. Maybe placements that correlate with struggles in life, major lessons for you, and I always focus on identifying your highest potential in this life and your unique gifts.

It’s hard for me to not believe in cusps because I feel like if we are gonna believe in feeling a few days before and after the energy of retrogrades and new moons and Saturn return and all of the other things... idk. Can someone that to me? Like if our signs are v specific and no cusp energies- shouldn’t we deny the energy that you feel as the moon approaches full? Like shouldn’t that mean that you will only feel full moon energy at the exact moment it is full? Idk this is wordy. Lmao

Some common debates in astrology:

•Existence of zodiac sign cusps (sort of, most astrologers do not believe in cusps) 

•Whether Pluto is Scorpio’s ruling planet. 

•Whether Uranus is Aquarius’s ruling planet. 

•Whether Neptune is Pisces’s ruling planet. 

•The influence/importance of asteroids 

•Various house system preferences

•The qualities and modes of the planets 

•Certain House traits 

 •Different ways of looking at synastry 

 •Timeline - as in are we in the age of x or y? 

•What house or planet rules driving/traveling

• What house rules sex and sometimes this bleeds into which house rules children/offspring. 

• How Venus and Mars represent sexuality, libido, erotica, intimacy. 

Astrologers can differ in their practices and beliefs. But there is still information that is stable to the core of astrology. Such as the mathematics that makes up a chart. The action of aspects. As well as signs and their connection to nature or really the seasons.

The moon in astrology and the perception/experience of the mother

The Moon in Astrology represents the mother or nurturing figure in your life.  The perception and experience of your mother is tied into the sign of the Moon.  The Moon can represent either the mother or father as it just matters which is the more nurturing or least dominant figure in the life growing up.

When the Moon is in Aries in the birth chart:

The Moon in astrology rules over the experience of the mother/nurturing parent and the perception one may have of her.  When the Moon in Aries the Mothering figure was very active, strong and direct in her personality.  She was perceived as adventurous and action oriented.  A childish attitude may have been apparent in her because she may have been excitable and loved to experience all life had to offer.  The perception of her could of been someone confident, passionate and full of optimism.  The nurturing parent was known as being independent, pioneering, rather competitive and always needing to prove herself for some cause.  The perception of the mother figure was generous as she was quite giving to a loved one.

The mother most definitely some heavy negative Mars related traits including selfishness, being rash, prone to accidents and quite impatient overall.  The involvement the with the mother figure was subject to ups and downs over the course of life.  There could of been conscious understanding of her being temperamental and argumentative which strained the relationship some.  The nurturing parent may be judged as being narrow minded or plain unapproachable at times.  There may have been issues with abuse with the nurturing parent.  She may have been perceived as immature.  Sometimes the relationship with the mother is stronger in youth and deteriorates as the native becomes mature and older.  They may grow apart from the mother over the years because she simply refuses to grow up.
