SYNOPSIS: a single mother implants a monitoring device called Arkangel into her daughter's brain after the child almost goes missing. As her daughter grows up, the device limits her development and leads to a confrontation when she discovers its existence. The episode explores the dangers of overprotective parenting and the consequences of invasive surveillance technology on family dynamics.

ANALYSIS: In the Arkangel episode we can watch several futuristic technologies that have significant impact on the plot. The main technology in this episode is a visual tracking device implanted in Sara's brain. This device allows her mother Marie to see and monitor in real-time what her daughter Sara is seeing, as well as adjust settings to block or censor certain stimuli. The device has the ability to track Sara's physical location, allowing Marie to know where she is at all times. Also, the mother uses a tablet or similar device to control and filter the visual information her daughter receives through the brain implant. This includes blocking violent images and scenes, as well as tracking the girl's location at all times.

We liked the episode because it shows us that the life is not easy and don’t matter if we are in a bubble, the bubble will burst one day and we need to be prepared. The solution is not to evade the horrible things of the reality. Now, talking about the lack of privacy that the mother imposed on her daughter is not at all right. Privacy is something essential in people's lives, and not having it greatly hinders personal development, including character and personality, decision-making ability, and survival skills.

RATING: It has a score of approximately 7.3 out of 10, based on user ratings, but we give a 10 out of 10.

The episode made us fell impotence and rage at the same time due to the mother's overprotective behaviors and the best part was when Sara finally revealed herself to her mother Marie, the way she did it was not the right way, but if that hadn't happened, things would have been the same.

It is a really great episode, it is a plot that leaves many expectations, everyone should watch it.
