Rush (2013) Short Review

Saw Rush the day before, it was just awesome, one of the best movies of 2013.

And it's one of the prettiest movies I've ever seen - the cinematography is just gorgeous (so gorgeous it could bring it an Oscar nomination). It was very exciting and unpredictable for me, since I hadn't read about the story of Lauda and Hunt beforehand.

Both actors did a great job and the most awesome thing was that neither main characters are presented as a protagonist or antagonist. One moment you root for Hunt, the next one you prefer Lauda and think Hunt's an ass. 

I sure hope this turns out to be a serious contender for the Academy Awards. 

It also made me a bit sad, because Formula 1 nowadays is nothing like it was back then, or even 5 years ago. I used to follow every competition, but now all excitement has gone away.
