drabblecember day 6 - sharing a jacket

“Ugh, my hair is getting wet!” Mettaton exclaimed, crossing his arms and pouting slightly. He looked at Oliver almost pathetically, all she could do was sigh. 

“That is what the rain does, Mettaton. Didn’t you grow up here?” Oliver asked, gesturing to the region of Waterfall that was around them. 

“Yes, but that was before I got a body that could experience dampness, darling!” Mettaton replied, looking close to tears. 

“Oh my god… Fine, take my jacket,” she relented, passing over her coat. Yet when he looked at her like she hung the moon, it made it all worth it.

I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams!! Firstly because astronauts are essentially space pirates/explorers and the whole song is about a woman being separated from her lover due to the vastness of the universe as her lover (the discarded rock opera is so neat to me). A forbidden romance would have the same effect, as close as one may be there is still that barrier keeping you apart; however the song remains with that cheerful tone as the love is very much still there.

Hmmm..... You both get Dead Roses!! The song is from the album OK Human, it is a rather solemn song however I do think the themes could fit you both quite well!! It is about a man stuck in an oubliette (which is created to look like a hole at the bottom of a cellar, however it is in fact a tower), and the only thing on his mind the entire time is his lover; thinking about how they belong to each other and thinking of the life they could share.

“Oh! H-Hello, welcome! Why don’t you all sit down and grab a seat, and I’ll grab you some coffee?” Oliver said, eyes wide as she stared at the monsters who entered the establishment. It was an odd sight to be seen, yet a rather welcome one. She pointedly ignored the looks from her colleagues and ushered the monsters in. 

“Thank you darling! I recognize a true fan when I see them, could you perhaps be a member of my fanclub?”

“oh… his name is mettaton…” Napstablook whispered to her.
