just a reminder for everyone: weekends are for my family. i work early in the morning, which leaves the rest of the day for my munch and the fiancé. it's a rare weekend that i'm actually here, and if i pop on it's usually mobile on my ipad. i'm almost never on my phone on the weekends.

What are your thoughts on Caroline asking Tyler to choose her or revenge on a guy who killed his mother and ruined his entire life?

I believe it was perfectly reasonable for Caroline to force Tyler to choose. He was constantly leaving her behind and putting her second, whether it came to his obsession with Klaus or his own need to help other werewolves. Even before he decided to go after Klaus he was in the habit of dropping his life in Mystic Falls to run off into the mountains somewhere for werewolf business, and he just expected Caroline to wait for him. He didn’t appreciate or consider her needs and just took for granted that she would always be there for him. Caroline shouldn’t have to wait for him forever. She needed someone by her side, and Tyler couldn’t be there for her.

Perhaps going after Klaus was something that Tyler truly needed for himself, but you know how the old saying goes; “I won’t set myself on fire to keep you warm”. Caroline couldn’t keep being supportive of his quests forever. It was time for her to stand up for herself and do what she needed to do. And what Caroline needed and what Tyler needed just weren’t the same anymore. I don’t believe either were wrong in this breakup. Tyler did what he had to do, but so did Caroline.

Anyways, it turned out that ultimately Caroline was right. She didn’t think anything good would come out of Tyler’s quest for revenge, and that’s exactly what happened. Klaus is still alive and Tyler failed, only now Tyler also lost Caroline. She saw this coming and tried to warn him, but he made his own decision.

There is a constant theme in television that is pretty reflective of real life…. That revenge will only destroy you. Nothing good comes from it. “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”

Ultimately I felt Forwood’s breakup was really reflective of real life breakups (despite expressing it through supernatural circumstances), and I liked it a lot. It felt like closure. What pissed me off that most was when Tyler returned to Mystic Falls from his failed vendetta and just expected to win Caroline back. Which, to me, proved Tyler didn’t learn a thing from his conversation with Caroline and was once again taking her for granted and expecting that she’d always be there for him and always take him back, even when he chose Klaus over her. Like, was he asleep when Caroline said, “If you leave we’re done for real this time”? Or did he just not care about her feelings?

Normally, Caroline would be upset by a comment like that. But Hermione's surprise took the edge off, and she laughed. "I'm not very good with quiet. But I suppose I could give it a shot."

"Never studied in a—how have you even gotten this far?” She paused, a blush rising to her cheeks. “Sorry, that was rude. I meant to say—I think you’d enjoy it. The quiet is nice.”

Tears spilled onto her cheeks as she stared at Rebekah. She took a few deep breaths, sniffling as she tried to calm herself down. Caroline watched the other blonde, focusing on calming herself down. She felt her panic begin to face when Rebekah placed her hands on her cheeks. Everything would be okay, she told herself. Her hand holding the gun shook slightly. What was Rebekah going to do? It seemed like they stared at each other for hours. "Bekah--" Her statement was cut off by Rebekah's lips on hers. What--she--this didn't make any sense, but she wasn't in a position to argue. She just had to trust that the original knew what she was doing. She leaned more into the kiss, her free hand coming up to rest on the back of Rebekah's neck.

               Tears were pouring down her cheeks as she stood in the middle of a foreclosed home. She couldn’t remember why she was here or how she got here. The only thing she remembered was waking up here and seeing a gun laying beside her. For whatever reason, she picked up the weapon and pointed it to her chest, right where her heart should be. She began to panic, but found herself unable to move it away."No no no no."

muse a and muse b are cuddling and after a few minutes, muse a (as the big spoon) starts to get wandering hands disease. muse b gets a case of the giggles as muse a's hands continue to roam. muse b scoots away, but just gets pulled closer by muse a. this goes on for a few minutes before muse b decides to start a tickle fight.
