The Wedding Night
It was a dark evening, the rain hit the umbrella the newly weds were under, hearing platters of rain soothed the woman, Akane, as she looked at her wife, her pale skin, her freckles, big glasses that sat perfectly on her face, her messy orange blonde hair that Akane loved playing with... Finnice admired her newly wed as she gave a big smile, grabbing onto Akanes free hand, and walking into the home she stayed in, they were supposed to go on a honeymoon the next day, so they needed some rest before packing, Akane wanted to rest anyways, she was tired from talking, hanging around so many people, it can be so mentally exhausting, Finnice noticed, so they had left a bit earlier than expected. As they walked into the house, Finnice closed the door, she gestured for her wife to sit down, Akane insisted she could stand. "Don't worry about me sweetface, I can stand..." Akane said in a gentle voice, Finnice didn't accept it, since she was stubborn, so instead of fighting, Akane simply sat down, leaning back onto the comfortable cotton couch, Akane admired her wife in her pretty silky blouse and dress slacks, as Finnice simply giggled. "Hold on.. since you didn't drink, it's only fair we both take a sip together.. let me go get the wine.." Finnice said in the cutest tone, Akane was swooned, she couldn't say no to her new wife, besides... she needed to adapt, Akane nodded and laid back, not paying much attention to what Finnice was doing. Which would be a mistake that Akane would realize very soon. Akane closed her eyes for what felt like only 10 seconds, until Finnice came back with two glasses full of red wine, handing her wife the glass. Finnice immediately took a sip, which Akane wasn't surprised, Finnice was always a drinker, but Akane didn't take a drop till now, so Akane swished the glass around, and took a singular sip, and placed it down, and went back to admiring her new wife, though, Finnice had a weird eerie look to her eyes, Akane always admired her eyes, but seeing this.. it was odd... Akane questioned. "My darling, you alright?" "Yes, yes i am. How do you feel? Finnice asked with anticipation, Akane was worried, but she did feel a bit weird. "uh.. a bit dizzy..?" Finnice was overjoyed, she got closer to Akane and held onto her face, as she squished it. "you'll be all mine, I promised you that.. I'll show you." Akane was shocked, what did she mean?? Akane felt her consciousness slip, as she tried to hold onto Finnice, but slowly lost her feeling in her body.. Finnice gave one eerie smile Akane would never forget, as Finnice leaned in, nuzzling Akanes cheek. "i promised you Akane dear.. you'd be all mine.. and I'll take care of you, so please rest.. you'll be safe soon." Akane couldn't speak, as she slowly saw everything go black, and saw Finnice walk away, as she slowly walked to the basement... Only if Akane knew this is how her life would be now..
This is bad i rushed this bc my friends made me get the idea

The Hare.
The Hare was afraid. The Hare was alone. The Fox suggested some time away. The Hare always hated being alone, the Hare begged, held onto the Fox' tail, till the Fox softly said into the Hares ear. "I need this.. let me go for a little while.." The Hare had tears run down their face, they never felt so scared, yet so relieved in their entire life, the Hare simply wanted to cry, as they laid there helpless, feeling alone. Until the Hare had a memory. The Hare remembered sitting next to their feline friend, The Black Cat, and the Cats lover, The Wolfdog, a pair you would've never expected to really see, the Hare sometimes wondered how they even were able to make it work. Though, The Hare was sitting by the dock, they had a days full of adventures, watching a lovely show, then watching a very crowded area of two animals. Wasn't even that good, but the Hare sat beside them two, they were closest to family they could ever get, the Hare was appreciative, as the Hare looked down into the rippling water as their feet touched it. The Hare remembered how the Black Cat, despite injured, came to save the Hare while they were drowning, the Hare will always be thankful for that. The Hare looked over at the Wolfdog, as the Feline nudged for the Hare to speak. The Hare spoke with some nervousness. "I... I stayed with a Fox.. a Fox that.. hurt me plenty of times and wasn't there.. but I still love her. I'm scared of her to go.." The Hare wanted to cry, the Hare felt tears run down their eyes, but soon felt the Wolfdogs paw on their head, the Wolfdog looked into the water, sighing. "I was once like you little Hare. I held onto people who hurt and ruined me. Like you right now, and it especially hurts letting go. It hurts letting go to someone you loved and trusted so much." The Hare bursted out in tears, wiping their already soaked in tears, as the Wolfdog simply sighed. The Hare didn't want to let go, the Hare believed this was their one chance. Was the Wolf Right? Was the Wolf right that the Hare can no longer love because of the Wolf, was the Hare doomed to love. Though the Wolfdog continued. "It's okay. It's painful, I know. I was your age when I started to realize I needed to straighten my bones and start making boundaries. I stopped falling in love because they were nice, I truly saw if they were into me. I stopped crying over people who didn't care. If they didn't love me, I'd step away and stop. I only made time for people who cared." The Wolfdog looked off into the distant starry sky as he sighed. "I may seem alone.. or that I don't have many people, but it's better that way, having too many can make your health worse. The Smaller, the easier it is to contain." The Wolfdog patted the Hares head, as the Feline simply smiled. The Feline found the Hare all mauled up, drowning in a lake, and seeing the Hare adapt and listen, the Feline was proud. The Hare noticed his words, the Hare realized, if the Fox doesn't care the way the Hare cares, and if the Hare cares too much, it'll hurt the Hare more than the Fox. The Hare needs to step away, and they realized that. The Hare simply nodded, as the Hare stood up, giving them both a hug, the Wolfdog obviously didn't enjoy it, neither did the Feline but the Hare laughed it off. The Hare walked off into the distance after letting them go, holding their words to heart, as the Hare realized, they can't wait their life waiting for one Fox, when there's plenty of other animals for the Hare.

The Hare sat in the home she once saw as a disgusting wasteland, as a now beautiful, clean, and furnished home. As they walked around, free without shackles, without the pain of heavy metal holding then back, they felt the energy and encouragement to step out, to go enjoy the cool winter air for themselves after the staying and feeling the disgusting home for so long. For once, in a very long time, they felt happy, they smiled, they were HAPPY. The Fox walked down the stairs, worried for the Hare, the Fox said in the most gentlest, most kind words she has given in a long time, "Please stay safe, don't do anything terrible, my love." The Hare simply snickers, the Hare felt like they were on cloud 9, like nothing could yank them down from the heavy white cloud, as the Hare stepped out, it was cold, they didn't wear a jacket, or a shirt, but the Hare believed the Hare could handle it.
As the steps of the Hare moved on, so did the coldness, with each small inch, it got colder and colder. The Hare couldn't handle it, yet was too ashamed to call out for it's sister, or even partner, the Fox. The Hare hid in a small tree, shaking as the Hare thought of their life.
When alone, the Hare hated it, because it made the Hare think of the worst. How the Wolf ruined and hurt them. How the Hares parents argued constantly… As it got colder, the Hare bundled up more. As the Hare shivered, thinking of their parents, and what they'd say.
"You're a mistake, you dirty Hare."
"You don't belong here. You dirty Hare."
"You make it so hard to be a mother."
"I don't like feeding you, you'll just throw it up."
"Don't talk back to me!"
The Hare began to cry, they were such an inconvenience, the cold air whispered the cold words of their family, the coldness making the Hares hair curl up, the Hares ears twitch down, as the Hares tears were so cold, they could freeze.
The Cold air got louder, and louder, it sounded like their parents were right there, yelling at them, making them feel sick to their stomach.
The Hare simply ran, ran as fast as they could… They were tripping, running into trees, when they thought they were steady, they would fall into water, step in it, make it to where the cold made it colder. They'd rip their shirt, their pants, it was a terrible experience. They were breathing heavily, panting, crying.. they didn't mind the cold, the Cold seemed to be right, the Cold was getting to their head, they had no one to hold them, tell them it was going to be okay. Nobody was there for the simple hare, nobody to wrap them in a warm blanket, a small cup of cocoa, until the Hare stopped, being pricked by a small rose bush. The Hare stepped back, gasping.
The Hare looked down at their arm, realizing that it was the same rose bush that gave them the scars they had years ago.
The Hare gulped, looking away, not falling for the gracious of the sweet beauty of it. How it looked so beautiful. How it may give them the relief if they take the beauty in it. The Hare sighed.. it was so tempting.. they couldn't take it any longer, they grabbed each rose that went deeper and deeper into the hares body, the Hare was greedier this time, as the Hare enjoyed not only the pain, but the roses.
Once it stopped, the Fox ran over and yanked the Hare out of the bush, the Fox was shocked.. ashamed even. The Hare saw the fear and hurt in the Foxes eyes, the Fox began to tear up, before swallowing, and shaking her head. The Hare felt burdened, not only did they inconvenience their own life, now their partners. The Hare tried to speak, but the Fox ran back home as quickly as she could, she needed to bundle her lover up as quickly as possible, making sure she didn't lose them again.
When they entered the home, it was warm, the Fox insighted for a bath, the Hare was hesitant, but the Fox insisted.
Soon after the bath, the Hare and Fox sat in front of the fireplace. The Fox whispered.
"What happened.."
The Hare simply sighed, wondering what to even say.
The Hare was ashamed, disappointed even as the Hare looked down, crying softly.
"The Cold.. the Cold spoke to me.. it felt like.. it felt like I didn't.. like I shouldn't be happy."
The Hare sniffled, wiping their eyes and nose as the Fox held them closer. The Hare missed them being this close to the Fox, as the Hare laid on the Fox' chest, crying even harder, as the tears came out as waterfalls.
"You deserve to be happy, Hare. Even though the Cold got to you, you didn't let it get to your heart.."
The Fox was so close, they could smell the Hares clean, lavender fur, as the Fox kissed their head.
"You can have setbacks.. it's okay.. next time, come to me, alright?"
The Fox chuckled, laying the Hare down on a makeshift bed in front of the fireplace, as the Fox got up to make a small cup of hot cocoa. The Hare admired the burning light, how the yellow, orange and red mixed together, the smell of burning wood filled the air. The Hare was content, okay, and better…
The Hare simply decided at that moment, to send a letter to the Hares dearest friend, The Doberman.

The Hare. Pt. 4
The Hare looked out to the grey, cloudy sky. Not a single sight of the blue sky, or the bright orb we call a sun. The Hare simply sat out on the dock, hearing the old moldy wood creak, though the fear of falling through, didn't scare them. Maybe, they wanted it. Meanwhile, shackles still withheld them, as they stared down at the murky, green water. It smelt like old food, nothing they weren't used to. They wondered, why were they still there. Why did they bother to exist still. Was it the motivation to be loved? To be better than what they were brought into? To be something successful? Something that was out of reach for them. The feelings and thoughts overwhelmed them. The thoughts of home. Their absent father, a Rabbit who started a whole new family, and left their mother alone. Their mother married a slobby lazy rat, he sat at the den, constantly ate their food, and complained at every little thing. But the Hare accepted it, since it was the one thing they had closest to a father. The Hare grew up in a damaged and broken home, it was obvious. While the Hare glorified their life. It wasn't, in the slightest. The Hare wondered, is that why they hold onto the smallest bits of love they were given? Why they desired and ran to the wolf? Why they thought the wolf was their one simple chance at getting or receiving love? It was obvious it wasn't. Though instead of isolation, the Hare ran to another, a bird, a bird and the sweetest fish there was. Yet scared them off, and the Hare was alone. The Hare was so alone, that the Hare felt comfort in the Fox, the Fox was there when the Hare had nobody. The Hare believed the Fox was their final chance. The Fox was a promise, the Fox came when the Hare was moments way from death, the Fox picked the Hare up, took them to her Home, cared for them, tended to their wounds even. The Hare believed, this was the one, this was their chance. The Hare saw a future with anyone who gave them the slightest amount of attention. Who seemed to care. It's been so many months, the home that was clean, sweet and lovely when the Hare moved in, is now dirty, the Hare stays there, constantly, waiting for the Fox to come home, for the Fox to come and love them and kiss them and care for them. But the Fox comes, says a I love you, a simple kiss, and leaves. The Hare hopes that the Fox will turn around, change, maybe care. But the Hare realized they are alone. The Hare realized, they must fend for themselves now. The Hare has been trying, the Hare began to make meals on their own, began cleaning up a bit, trying to untighten the shackles. While the Hare desires the Fox, desires some type of closeness, the Hare realizes that they need to depend on themselves. The Hare has tried to be close with the Fox, the Fox takes their pleasure, their love, and goes on, to some far away land. The Hare cries to their fellow Crow, Quill, Frog and Groundhog, and they all feel the pain the Hare feels. Seeing how the Hare went from someone who smiled, who was happy. To someone who can barely smile. The Hare is continually trying, and trying not to let the hurt get to them again. The Hare won't let the hurt get to them, instead, they'll use the hurt to get better. The Hare feels alone, but that may be what the Hare needs.

The Fox, The Hare, and The Wolf.
As days passed, the Fox examined the Hare. The Hare slowly, but surely, walked towards the dirty, and filth covered couch, the shackles making metal clinks at each piece of trash it hit. The Hare, fell down barely relaxing, as they scratched as their wound. The Fox wondered. "Why do you scratch your wounds, darling?" The Fox sadly said, putting but a simple band aid on it. The Hare winced, feeling the pain of a small band aid, barely covering a massive slash. It ached, it hurt.. but it didn't bleed. "From.. another. The Wolf." "The Wolf?" The Fox questioned. "Who is 'The Wolf'?" The Hare gulped, they never wanted to remember the Wolf. The Wolf was a scary being, the Wolf gave the Hare rabies, which the Hare was able to withhold, the symptoms weren't as severe as they were months ago, the Hare simply sighed. "Years ago... I met this.. wolf. She seemed scary.. terrifying even. I was scared of her, and she made sure to act scary. Though, once I talked to her enough. She warmed up to me. I enjoyed that, I felt safe, protected. The other Rabbits in my group seemed worried about me, but I promised them... this wolf.. was different." The Hare began to shake, having tears falling from their cheeks, as they soaked into their barely cleaned fur. "The wolf wasn't different.. the wolf was terrible. The wolf.. gave me this wound..." The Hare sobbed quietly, remembering the terrible thoughts of how the Wolf would toss them around, nibble at their flesh, take bits of them, and leave them for dead. Then would simply come back, and act like nothing happened. "That Wolf was cruel. When then, I acted like the wolf, I suddenly was revolting.. disgusting apparently, the wolf then showed it to my other fellow rabbits. They resented me... I thought I could trust them, that they'd take my side... but then I realized, when I did know them. I was... infected with my symptoms.. when I look back, I can't even recognize myself. So they had every right to dislike me. Resent me even." The Hare sniffled, wiping the tears off their face, as the Fox simply stared at them. The Hare looked at their wound in the mirror, as they could shake off the symptoms, and try to forget them. They will always, remember that damned wicked Wolf. The Fox admired how the Hare still stayed strong, not letting the symptoms get worse. The Fox sat beside the Hare, holding them close, as the Fox whispered into their ear. "I'm proud of you." The Hare wanted to believe the Fox, but they simply just looked at her. They didn't want to give the Fox too much of an ego, but, The Hare enjoyed the comfort, knowing the Fox didn't take the Wolfs side. That someone believed in them.

The fox and the hare sit down to eat.
The Hare believes the Fox has good intentions, whilst the hare covers up her wounds, the slashes, she looks down at what he hadst prepared for her.
it looks delicious, a nice plates piece of cake, sprinkled with pink sparkles, pink icing, and the most delicious butter she never thought she could obtain.
her family always told her never to trust that fox, she thought they were wrong, with her previous slashes. her wounds. she believed that the fox wouldnt hurt her in any way. she grabbed the fork and took a small bite. the fox smiled.
“How does it taste my dear.”
The voice would send shivers down many spines. She swallowed, feeling the piece of cake softly go down her throat as she looked up, admiring his cold, and empty eyes.
“Good.. it tastes.. amazing.”
She was the one for sweets, she took bite after bite, crumbles falling and falling, to where, she was even eating the crumbs, the smallest ones. it was so sweet, so good, it seemed TOO good to be true. she swallowed every. last. drop.
The fox grinned. Seeing how frantic she got.
“More.. please may I have more.”
She was never treated to such delicacies. She truly trusted this fox. Soon, after a kiss, and a hug, she went home.
Come the next day, the Hare returned, as the Fox opened the door, the Fox allowed her in. It didn’t smell as good as it was the day before, but the Hare accepted it. They sat down at the table, as the Hare stared down at her plate.
“What is this?”
“Why its the same thing my dear, just different.”
He smiled as he nudged the plate towards her. She awkwardly sighed, grabbing the fork and eating it slowly. It was.. good..? She continued to eat, and eat. As she sat back in her chair, stuffed.
“How was it my dear.”
“Good.. it was.. good.”
That was all the fox needed to hear. He smiled, as she stood up, they gave eachother a kiss, a hug. And allowed the next day to return.
The next day, the Hare was feeling ill. She wobbled her way onto the steps of the Fox’ home, as she coughed. The Fox paid no mind to her illness as he let her in. He handed her another plate, this time, the cake had no frosting, no anything.
It was a piece of disgusting, moldy cake. The hare gulped.
“What is this?”
“The same thing. Just different.”
The Fox replied, the hare hesitantly grabbed the fork and barely was able to finish it. Soon, the Hare fainted. The Hare trusted the fox, to where the Fox was able to drug her, and chain her to the chair.
The Hare woke up frantically. Seeing how she was chained down, her wounds reopening from the lack of care.
“What am I? What is this? What is happening?”
The Hare exclaimed.
The Fox simply put the cake in front of her, the small, piece of moldy cake. As he slyly smiled.
“The same thing. Just. Different.”
The Hare gulped, refusing to eat it. The Fox simply got up and left. The Hare was left there alone. With no one to help, and after a couple of days, she was hungry. She ate the moldy piece of cake, it tasted good. For awhile, with each day it was served, it slowly got more and more foul to her. But it was all she had, if she refused, she got nothing else. She realized, it was either her life, or nothing, and, that the fox, didn’t truly care for her.
