the winter olympics are just so fucking fun because every year i go in with basically no knowledge of most of the sports or athletes aside from what i retained from 4 years ago and i come out crying about everyone’s inspiring stories able to rant off fun facts about ski jumping or whatever. and all the sports are insane like whose mom let them launch themselves over a hundred meters in the air down a mountain or rocket down a hill going 80 miles an hour on a sled like what the fuck. its like a celebration of the stupid shit people do during winter and i love it.
