AHHH LUV!!! old fanart of these guys but i just decided to upload it cuz it's EFFING ADORKABLE!!! just a bit of info abt the rewrite i did:

- Stars slime boy (name: Florian Bluesong) Amaryllis (name: Amaryllis Elywn) and snapdragon (name: Snapdragon Cyprian)

- they have real classses. so like ryll is a wizard, slimeboy is a bard and snap is an artificer

- The spark spell thing actually ends up freezing everyone so ryll slime and snap have to go to witch country to find the cat girl thing

- it's really fun gothy and magical and i love it

- oh yeah the magic system got fixed up + high guardian academy actually made new magic (they're evil and our main 3 have to prove it!!!)

- also a character change.. snapdragon is a feminine presenting male as opposed to a trans woman as the story kinda..erases a whole arc and undermines their character when they are revealed to be trans (i.e. the sage sexism arc).. plus gnc representation!! huzzahhh!!

- I accidentally got fixated on ryll and snap. they r just adorable goth girl + femboy = magic (slimeboy i love you)

for those of you who haven’t read the brothers karamazov (though i highly recommend you do) the plot (in huge simplification) goes like this: father and son hate each other’s guts and are in love with the same woman. the father gets killed and the son is the main suspect. he wants to kill himself, but first he throws a party. briefly, the old lover of the woman returns, but he turns out to be a dick and she breaks up with him. during the party, the son gets captured by the police. i won’t give you spoilers for the rest of the book :)
